No, its not. and i pity you for that mindset.
I doubt a cat went down a sink hole. I think the cat is off running around or maybe it got hurt but it sounds like the sinkhole opened when the woman parked near it and then when she walked over it her weight caused it to destabilize and she slid in. I hope she didn't fall straight down and instead slid down!
That’s quite an assumption. The “Crazy cat ladies” tend to be her age, so it’s far more likely that she chased after it for her own emotional benefit while abandoning her cute, innocent Grandchild. Some of those mines can have vertical shafts straight down one thousand feet or more.
@@worldwidestuff5567 this is a vertical shaft in fact. You'll hit the aquifer first if it's super deep because the water pumps will have been turned off since it's abandoned.
Yet the mining company can just walk away and abandon miles of corridors in dozens of levels below acres of ground. Decades later this happens. (A vertical shaft underlying a sinkhole is a scary thought)
@davebrown9725 yes, times were different back then. Companies just walked away after closing the mines. Surface subsidence is always a threat regardless of reclamation, etc. Where I'm at, there's thousands of openings in Northeastern Pennsylvania. People have driven down vertical haulage shafts accidentally even in the middle of the woods offroading.
@@AnthraciteHorrorStories I brought this one up tonight on the maps. I have a pic of something to send you later regarding something you told me the other day.
Sinkholes are terrifying, imagine being on a walk feeling safe and the ground just swallows you
Bigger fear than falling into the sky, and can actually happen to literally anyone.
Tiny sink holes, giant sink holes.
When I was in my teens and early 20s, I'd be laughing at situations like this. Yet now that I'm older and a little wiser, it's just sad. Hope the rescuers find her safe along with little soft paws.
God Bless her and her cat 🙏🏼❤️
KEEP US UPDATED PLEASE 🙏
May a miracle find her alive 🙏
Texas praying for all.
It appears to open well enough to fly a small infra-red drone inside???
Right.
Or a plumbers camera that they use to inspect pipes the ones on little tanks
I can't believe they haven't dropped a camera down there yet what are they waiting for !!! 😖
@@youwish378It was reported that have done this, in this very video...
@youwish378 so yall can scroll and like comments and couldn't even watch the 2 min video you clicked on 😂 they very clearly state their use and cameras and microphones..."to no avail"
Sending thoughts and prayers. I hope she and the cat are still found alive. How scary that must be….staying positive for her family.
One of my worst nightmares. Poor lady. I'm glad her granddaughter wasn't with her, at least.
Praying for the lady to be found safely as soon as possible x.
Wow. She probably went after that cat for her grandbaby, not just herself. I bet she was thinking "I'll be damned if i let my baby die in front of my other "baby"." Damn. SO so unfair. I remember finding a young kitten out in the winter, and i would feed it milk off of my finger. He did not make it, and people laughed at me bc its "just an animal".
I would be thinking, “I’ll be damned if my actual baby is harmed while chasing this lousy, smelly cat.” Then again, I tend to be sane.😬
@Sigmund1924
Your comment is anything but sane and lacks all empathy....
You should get yourself checked into some therapy....
Hope you have a better day!
@@CaseyCorbett Now hold on just a minute young lady. At my advanced age, I won’t stand for that kind of sass. Grandma threw some stale McNuggets in the seat next her Grand baby and basically said, “Nice knowing you but I got to go find a good for nothing cat.” You say I don’t have empathy? I mean, are you for real? 😂😂 Even though I’m an atheist, I’ll pray for you.
@Sigmund1924 I'm a man and a firefighter paramedic. Your callous disregard for the life of a pet is indicative of your character. And your unfair misrepresentation of this woman who lost her life due to a freak accident is pretty sad. Take care of yourself.
