    Looks nice! It seems that the hand made paper properties varies greatly not just brand to brand but even sheet to sheet.

    Great reviews. I love my BPA paper. It hold Watercolor really well. One time I went upto 5 layer and the paper didn't had any scratches. The color do look vibrant amd since I love dry brushing in my landscape I enjoy the text. It 220gsm but it's not only CP but comes under rough textured that why 220 is good enough to work with.

    I have ordered some WC sketch books from them and now I am sorry I did not order some loose pages as well. It takes forever to get here , though, I ordered nearly 3 weeks ago, (and so far it has only been moved around in India), from Europe, but it looks worth waiting for. Always a gamble, so I am glad to see your review. Hope it will get here eventually, and will not get 'lost' like some of my other Asian orders.

      The sketchbooks are nicer. For loose sheets, you have to find some way to store them

    I do like the way the paper seems to work well with blending, color saturation. holds up well with paint and water, I think cotton rag papers seems to be best when needing a lot for water and multiple colors applied, thanks for bringing this video to us,

    Looks good Teoh. I have a handmade paper that only takes one layer and doesn't glaze well. Not much sizing. Was dissapointed at $2.00 per sheet. And ink feathers out terribly.😔

    Any bleed-through to the other side?

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Paper is thick and sizing is done quite well.

    I love your ink lines! May I ask what black ink you are using? It is so water proof on paper with sizing. My Noodler’s Heart of Darkness runs terribly on my watercolor papers, even though it is supposed to be water proof. ;-;

      I'm using SketchINK. Not all Noodlers inks are waterproof. Even with Noodlers waterproof inks, sometimes the paper you use is important.

      This was painted a long time so I can't remember the paint. But it's probably Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton.

    I've noticed that you use fountain pen but the ink dries water-proof (unlike in all other fountain pens I know). What ink do you use, if I may ask?

    • @loondabo9207

      I'm not the channel owner but any of the rohrer klingner antiketusche and drawing ink is waterproof, and the former is usable in fountain pen. I use them religiously.

      I use Noodler’s ink. Sometimes you need to let it dry a couple of hours before painting or else it will run. Once dry however, it is run free.

      @@OkieSketcher1949 Thank you very much, I think I have some Noodler's inks but I never thought they are waterproof. I will try them out.
