I see these “reviews” every year. Nothing changes but the paint color. Don’t get me wrong, love the bikes. I own a ‘21 RGS and would not change it for the world.
I habe a 2007 RK Custom with a video on it up... 62k miles now...will be riding it to demo days at BBBQ tomorrow... but honestly, there is nothing that much difference between my 2007 RK Custom and a new one... the Twin Cam is better for me and yes, I owned a M8 and didn't like it as much. I've been to Indian...the Springfield is also very nice, like this RK in the video... but im not a giant horsepower guy, my bike will run 95-100 mph for hours if needed out west....and i run it at 80+ for days. Also, I just don't want to spend 20k+ for the difference. I am sorta excited about test riding a Triumph T120 tomorrow though... might be on the lookout for a used one after that.
The reason I've just put money down on a '24 RKS is because I expect to still be riding it in 15-20 years. Good to see you are still satisfied with yours.
@peterchivers6312 congrats! I hope you love your RKS for many, many years. Mine is still my sweet spot, love, and perfect for me the way I got it set up. I don't know if I ever said it on a video... but I run progressive shocks. Makes a HUGE difference in the comfort. Of course the bars for my height... but shock changes over stock don't get the love they should. I'm still running the stock seat that's 17 years old... that's how important the shock change is. Anyways, yeah- hope you get yours to 100k abd beyond! I'll roll 65k before winter is over but I do fewer miles and more coffee stops to warm up nowadays in December. :)
I road this and the new 2024 street glide. My wife and I are looking to upgrade to something that's more comfortable than my BMW sport touring bike and I cant decide between these models. I really loved both of them but I did like the 117 feel on the street glide. I don't really care that much for the tech and speakers etc, I'm ok having it but I don't NEED it.
My dilemma exactly. Rode the 24 'Glide and loved it. Good deals here too. Eventually decided on the RKS after testing it. Both were great, just felt more "connected" on the RKS.
@@MegaBailey67How can it be? The Fat Boy fuel gauge is in the digital display in the central gauge. The fuel filler is on the right side not the gauge.
Just add the new pipes you will need( at extra cost). Just add the seat you need (at extra cost). And the handle bars you actually want, (at extra cost). Of course the stage 1 or 2 or 3 (at extra cost). And a wind screen ( at extra cost) then you will have a nice looking bike, even if the engine blows up in a few miles!
What in the motorcycle world or auto enthusiast world does not get the upgrades you mentioned? You buy a top trim Camaro and people change seats, exhaust and upgrade motor. Everything works like this lol. Also motors clearly are not blowing up after three months. That just sounds like a ridiculous hater hahaha.
Where's the windshield? Where's the passing lamps? What makes it special-finally a factory LED headlamp? Who you trying to BS? Harley doesn't cheese out? 😅😅! My 107, my 96 and 80 cubic inch do just fine.
I have ridden all HD models except for trikes. The Road King Special is the best riding HD ever in my opinion.

I have a blacked out 2023 RK special. Nicest handling bike I've ever ridden.

I like riding without windshield...best biker ever😊
Have they put a charging port on the road king yet?
go buy a honda
Is the road king standard coming back?
I gave my son my road king and I have to say I do miss it. Would you consider the road king to be “ a well balanced bike “ ? By the way, awesome video
That would be a big up grade from my 01 fatboy Im loving the onyx pearl Im also intrested in the Gray
Damn that bike looks good. HD gives us too many great options!!
Some better colors in this model would be nice
All I got to say is Oh, Ah, Ooo, Ah!
Bring chrome back.
The fuel gauge is on the right not left
Fuel gauge is on the LEFT side sitting on the bike .
@@craigboots7929 I have a 2023 fatboy and when I sit on my bike the fuel gauge is on the right
Yea, don’t know about the fatboy, but I have this bike , fuel gage is on the left ??

@@beatts101 exactly that’s what I said I have a fatboy
Should have made the tank 6 gallons.
I miss the chrome
Damn I don't ride but want to just cause this bike
You lost me with the Fat Boy with its wider tires handling better.
I get better fuel mileage than that on mine. A windshield is a must

That is all I ride is RKS
Great bike but cant justify the pice
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz C'mon Harley GIVE us something new!!!!!!!!!!!
: WHITE-IS-DA-BOSS!
Boring color again! Is Harley in self-destruct mode? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Stock sounds like a sewing machine because all Harley is made cali specks right after you buy $3000 for pipe’s muffler and tuner Vance only
I may never buy another Harley due to price gouging, but if I did it would be a street glide. streetglide.
