3 Skincare Brands I Love (+ a Bonus), Each Product & Why I'd Buy Anything New They Create

- I’m often asked what one line of skincare to use and while I don’t think most people can or should just stick to one, here are three brands (+ a bonus) that I can recommend every product in their line-up. These are some of my favorite brands because I trust them (aka they don’t spread misinformation in order to sell you their products), they are backed by science, evidence-based formulations and clinical trials, and I’ve tested them all personally to see first hand that their formulations work. Integrity and honesty in this industry is something I will continue to look for and will always set apart brands in my opinion. (This isn’t the only ones, just my favorites I’ve noticed and been lucky enough to test each product.) The Prequel Urea Moisturizing Milk totally got rid of my stubborn hyperkeratosis bumps on my upper arms in fairly short order. I am a huge fan and have the softest, smoothest skin there now! I apply immediately after my shower.

I was blown away, by the size of the glenser & moisturizers, when I ordered Prequel! I love all the products I have bought from them. I bought the glenser, 2 moisturizers, & the spray. After watching this video, I’m going to get their newly released item, foot, & lip.

Omg! Experiment beauty doesn’t have any acrylic copolymers!!! I have the hardest time finding moisturizers without it- even Cerave has it and I am trying to avoid due to allergies to some acrylics. Thanks so much for all the info!

Thank you for sharing! I love learning from you! Im new to the skin care regime (other than cleansing). It can be overwhelming! I used to think using one brand would be better but I find that some products show me results and some don’t, so I’m exploring.
Always learning from Your Skincare videos Sara. I attempted to go thru 2 bottle of OneSkin face serum and ended up having to pull it out of the container, cutting in half to get the product out. O had not used it but maybe 2 weeks. I reached out to One Skin and they did replace my first container, yet same problem. For the price tag, you would think they would improve their packaging, but apparently not so I will not repurchase. I’ve got to try Dieux products for my dry, dehydrated skin. I did purchase the Experiment Glycerin Serum based on your recommendation and absolutely love this serum. Also got to order some of a prequel products, especially her Gleanser. It’s been great in helping with hydrating my skin. Love, love love it. Thank you so much for such great in depth video in these skincare products.

Sara, I'm new to your channel & I appreciate your expertise on stuff that I have NO idea about. ha. My question is: Some of the meds I take say to not use more than 500 mgs of vitamin C since it'll diminish it's potency. Are skin care products that have vitamin C in them, going to affect that? I'm assuming it's fine to use them., but thought I'd ask the person who should know. ♥
@@beadgirl52 good question! But no you are fine because that is talking about ingestion in terms of reacting with an oral medication which is a very different route of exposure than a topical vitamin C. Unless your medication is a topical ointment? In that case you should probably stick with a vitamin C derivative to be safe.
I used to be alright with Vit C but I just tossed all of them, including Prequel and Naturium. Do love the Gleanser and I use the ointment at night on my hands and feet. Naturium lip mask is fantastic also! Mostly I’m using Alitura Naturals lineup, and Osmia for body. I get what you’re saying about preservative free but I haven’t had any issues. They’re gorgeous products that give me a sensory experience I don’t get with more clinical lines, and zero sensitivities. Beauty of Joseon sunscreen has become my HG under Seint, which is funny because at first I didn’t like it.

Hi Sarah, I’ve been following a K Beauty regimen where in the morning I’ll use my toners, sometimes more than one, you got me hooked, then my VitC then follow with any serums or essence and last sun screen. Should I switch to Vit C after I cleanse then follow with everything else? Thanks.
@@lindakleinheinz2165 I cleanse, then toners then serums, like my Vitamin C 👍 you’ll get better penetration thinnest to thickest so I’d stick with what you’re doing!
Have tried Olive tree -Olivia or Alpyn eye cream? I have and currently using Alpn eye cream line filling balm and and instant bright eye. Not to sure the eye balm has done anything to help the under eye winkles and almost done with the product. So probably will not purchase again.
No I haven’t and that’s the brand I was referring to in the beginning of the video so I have no intention on trying anything from them. I haven’t tried that eye cream but I do love their barrier cream. I find eye creams rarely show me any visible results from unless they have an active ingredient like a retinoid or that peptide- but that’s my problem area and I’ve tried too many eye creams to count! 🥴
I use the Prequel Lucent-C. I love it. I will get more products from this line.

If you are looking for a 50 ml handcream then I can recommend Bioderma Atoderm. Same concept as Prequel. Highly recommend. Love your content btw

Where is your top from? Love the color on you.
I was told that i could use hypoclorous acid with vitamin C, AS LONG AS the hypoclorous acid is completely dry before applying vitamin c. Can you please let us know if that is accurate? Please and thank you!
I'm answering my own question... I reached out to prequel to ask about the hypoclorous acid and vitamin c thing this is what they said
"As for the Universal Skin Solution and Lucent C you can use them together. We have formulated our products to be able to work together and along side other products."
So 🤷♀️, I'll still allow for dry time between each product.
Prequel is not available in Canada either

I started using Beauty of Josein vitamin C serum. I don’t use it daily
Prequel and Naturium are owned by the same conglomerate I believe. You can see it in the packaging too.
