One thing I REALLY appreciate about Noctua and it's exalted status is that it doesn't actually drain energy when you use like you mentioned, and it actually just costs energy per shot. In theory, that should mean that Xata's Invocation (The Tome Mod that gives you 10/s energy regeneration on alternate fire) should work with it rather than not being effective with an energy-draining ability active

Overguard makes you immune to all status effects... knockdown being 1 of them as seen on your own fav frame, Kullervo, so yes it works.... however; using light verse that way will drain your energy faster than you can say "whoa boi" so you would be stuck making ABSOLUTELY sure you keep 100% uptime of his light-based 4 OR be susceptible to getting knocked down in the fraction of a second where your overguard drops(because shieldgating does not prevent that...ironically)
I wouldn't overlook the sheer joy of turning Dante into a spellblade. With insane levels of overguard that he can gain, even slow heavies like Sampotes decked out with Tenokai are not only a gas to use but are viable farmhand tools in survival missions.
I immediately bought is the entire Dante bundle and it is an awesome Warframe bundle but I just don't know what build I should use because my brain is not smart enough to come up with my own builds.

It's not a (D)oT but it IS a status with a single instance of damage so tragedy will invoke that initial damage instance again (not whopping but it does add to the total)
If you put viral status on your noctua you can use it as a primer of sort with you 2 > 3 > ult then stack dot on targets with you primary (say heat so your target is proc Ed with slash/viral/heat) then 3 > 3 >ult to nuke. Even if viral takes precedence over the slash on your noctua it's okay since your 3 will apply slash anyway.
I would have all of dante’s parts by now, but when the hotfix dropped and I had to exit out and relog, the systems I had gotten previously were gone :(
18:34 what about the Nami solo incarnon? it can have an upgrade that pauses combo when holstered, so you can just get to 12x once, holster it and you pretty much have the same thing as the arcane without having to do a lot of finishers
I would use cascadia overcharge and an augur mode instead of secondary outburst because with so much overguard it is easy to build your overshields at least at starter sp
Very good build, swapped out Expel Grineer with Expel Murmur and went into the Netracells unranked, didn't hard carry, but still got the most kills, and I never felt pressed at all.
Looking at the comments, it seems like Warframe community wants shit frames. Then buff them in 3 years. I like good frames. I’m just waiting for a frame better than Nekros. Great video.
This echoes my thoughts. Played Dante for a bit, the concept is neat but it's not my vibe. Inaros on the other hand SLAPS. He went from his best active ability (his 1) turning into his worst. I can't believe I actually enjoy using Sandstorm. There are some tweaks I'd make to it, but overall his new kit is so good! Inaros was released shortly after I started playing. Thanks to him I could keep up with my friends who at the time had already been playing for a while. He's my "comfort zone" so to speak, and despite being utterly garbage, I liked him for it! This rework is so good.
My Noctua is built with 4 Invocations. Just put away Noctua until it's passively charged, then unleash it's charged attack. Besides the 4 Invocations, I'm using Galvanized Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, Gunslinger, Lethal Momentum. Works pretty well. Can't get max stacks for the Invocations since I'm not using a grouping skill, but even an 8% boost is still helpful for casting.
@@AshAsmodeus I know, but the 4 Invocation build can't really run damage perks that well. Its nice to see warframe leaning into centralizing the exalted weapons, and finally making the weapons the first ability. Lets be honest, we all know the main reason to use Mesa is her regulators.
I would have to disagree with your Noctura build. Mod some toxin onto it while keeping slash as your main damage so you get preferred on slash but still proc toxin, then archon continuity will proc corrosive stacks per toxin stack, youre still getting your slash procs with your 3 doing forced slash procs also
Archon Continuity says it only procs on abilities, do exalted weapons count toward that? I think you're right, especially since it'd add compounded direct damage with galvanized shot on noctua.
TH-cam didn't tell me you uploaded everything tho I'm subbed with notifications on. Jeez I never even knew that they added a new star node or where to get the vessel things.
Because most of these popular Warframe content creator are pretty trash at the game. The game is easy enough where most builds work but complicated enough where mouth breathers can't mod worth a damn.
This frame was so interesting I just had to get him day one with his weapons so I said screw it and bought plat so I could have it all and experiment with it all especially the frame he is just so intriguing he reminds my of harrow but also of lavos as well with how the four works and interacts with his other 3 especially giveing him seven abilities when you think about it he is support but also not he can do damage he can make himself and his team tanks he can distract enemies honestly he is just incredible haven’t finished all the challenges for the two new weapons but I already love Dante he is one of my favorite frames right now with a little more work I think he will become one of my mains for steel path that’s how good his potential is solo and especially when on a team!
Hey, I was just wondering why you would use Galvanized Shot even though you're only getting one status type (slash)? Wouldn't it be better to add a +slash mod since it will literally double your damage (since the weapon is pure slash), such as Maim or Carnis Stinger?
Overguard cap is based on his 2, not his 4 so I wouldn't use precision intensify. I'm running about 400% Strength with all my buffs up and I was getting to 60k
I'm seeing a steady 55000 never ending overgaurd. Like I don't even have forma in him yet, and I'm running with a few empty mod slots, and I feel like it I put forma in him, and fully kit him out, Dante is going to need a lawyer. He's practically a walking war crime. It's even worse on steel path where enemies can survive long enough to get primed by a kuva nukor, before triggering Tragedy. It's just insane. Now I will admit, I'm ruining Molt Augmented, so the longer it goes on Steel path, the higher my power strength becomes, but still. Also, poor Frost just lost his niche again. Frost finally got something just for him, a high overgaurd power, able to give the party almost 30000 overgaurd. Then here comes Dante, patting Frost on the head, and saying "sit down kiddo. I'm taking your new special. Go back to the corner."
Maaaan, I wish I had a second Dante to try that Slash build! Already slotted in +90% toxin damage and +4 corrosive stacks through Archon Shards, with Archon Continuity so the Noctura can strip armor and an additional status primer. Already 1-taps all factions, but would love to swap to +60% Duration with 4x Tau Crimsons with that Slash setup; but, Im not willing to give up my universal faction setup . ;-; (Hope we can one day get loadout slots for Archon Shards as well, already have both Excalibur Prime and Umbra maxed with two different shard setups.)
The irony of everyone waiting for the nerf, is that apparently tragedy was bugging out and not dealing as much damage as it should, so, on a technicality, they have actually buffed him already lo.
its because the red crit tier multiplies the bleed status even further to do more damage that ignores armor. The initial damage doesn't matter as much in this case.
@@eduardobarros6562as you go higher and higher, one shotting enemies becomes almost impossible. Especially groups of enemies That’s why slash is the best option, it might not kill them instantly but it still does it the fastest
@@samael5323 you do realize is ult consumes all status so you will always one shot? I took my build with roar against level 500 corrupted last night and was just nuking everything.
@@MHBlacky_ENG Itsallgood, farmed the last one in 45 min with a 3 man party in (what can easily be called) the most fun Disruption mission in the game (Maybe, the most fun continuous mission in the game!) Just before level 400 the enemies start to get a little spicy. BUT, I don't know if this is new to all Disruption missions now or just this one, but DE marks the "incoming"; And that makes all the difference here. May be worth a look. Thanks again.
Farmed dante in a few hours...after a 2 forma upgrade...and immediately though "nerf incoming" never even watched any build vids before getting him. I expect his slash spell to be line of sight at LEAST. I put nourish in place of "paper cut" ability. Max out strenght and range, dont even use guns to nuke steel path rooms. Whats the point of shield mods, and sure footed when overguard is refreshed at a touch of a button? You do you i guess.
I find it odd when TH-camrs (the ones who mastered all the shit) sees that they can do these crazy things, but when I do something identical or just barely slightly off, it's a difference of night vs day... vs a fucking solar eclipse.
I love your videos and have used them to seriously improve my builds to get into Steel Path! Thank you so much! Would you be down to make a video about squad builds? Is there a broken awesome way to go into hard content optimally with a full four-man team?
Assuming you already have access to the Simulacrum itself from Cephalon Simaris, Loid sells this particular room in his Dante shop in Sanctum Anatomica.
It might be just me, but I never had any trouble with his enery economy. Granted, I run him with Energize, but his skills are rather cheap, so I could easily keep up the spam with just Streamline in the build.
i am currently using the xata on the book nexus on frame and energized but i am using 3 tau yellows for casting speed so it means i will have some energy issues but it seems to be even at 200energy that way :D
Alternatively the build i've been using you can ditch auger reach/stretch (wether you want 15% more range or 40% more energy use to shields) for equilibrium and ditch arcane energize for molt efficiency, his abilities don't really cost much especially since you don't have to cast often, prime a bunch, cast 2 dark verse(or vice versa) then ult, works pretty well, especially with an energy dethcube with helstrum to prime things too.
@kurisu1204 Yeah, that works too, 100%, especially if you're using the tome a lot. I'm personally not using it, I'm running a status Cedo and abusing the ult for instant dot damage and just nuking SP, but I might honestly ditch my tome for roar
Well with the eclipse change I may have made a monster of my own, His noctua I put on every mod that buffs. As much Strength as possible, Some range/efficiency, Not terrible duration. I may not clear monsters but With all the buffs I certainly don't slow down the group. Eclipse is just there to make sure I don't get downed and frankly thinking about removing it because even on steel path and 45k+ overguard It made gameplay feel as if we were just sitting around having a cup of tea lol.
What do you think about Dante?

Mod some toxin onto it while keeping slash as your main damage so you get preferred on slash but still proc toxin, then archon continuity will proc corrosive stacks per toxin stack, youre still getting your slash procs with your 3 doing forced slash procs also
Archon Continuity says it only procs on abilities, do exalted weapons count toward that? I think you're right, especially since it'd add compounded direct damage with galvanized shot on noctua.
i really love using dante's expecto patronum spell lmao. i lowkey wish we could have 5 paragrimms maximum though.
yeah i was really disappointed when the amount was fixed q.q
@@drask1988potential augment maybe? If nezhas is allowed to be busted then only fair
TH-cam didn't tell me you uploaded everything tho I'm subbed with notifications on. Jeez I never even knew that they added a new star node or where to get the vessel things.
Yeah really sucks if TH-cam is cooking its own thing... Glad you found your way here regardless 😉
@@MHBlacky_ENG yea it does, but I'll be getting dante pretty soon!
why would you use primed sure footed on a warframe that easily gives overgaurd.
😂😂😂
I like to think mhblackeys brain like to take naps sometimes
Because most of these popular Warframe content creator are pretty trash at the game. The game is easy enough where most builds work but complicated enough where mouth breathers can't mod worth a damn.
0:50 so we got an actual improved version of the CODEX in the palm of our hands.
Back after 2 years and holy buttstuff there are so many cool things to chase down 🤤 love this game.
primed sure footed is useless cuz overguard prevent knock down
sadly this is a little known fact considering the surefooted peddling
It should, but I found myself getting knocked back before with overguard on :(
Bro is gonna get kneecapped
Citrine fractured blast for more slash and you'll get energy and hp orbs boom .
Ich hatte gestern so viel spaß mit Dante. Er ist 100% mein neuer lieblingsframe
I find that Arcane Steadfast works really well on him. Saves a lot of energy
Amazing! I'm really happy you're enjoying him so much ^^
Great investment then 😉
Hey, I was just wondering why you would use Galvanized Shot even though you're only getting one status type (slash)? Wouldn't it be better to add a +slash mod since it will literally double your damage (since the weapon is pure slash), such as Maim or Carnis Stinger?
Open Question: What is the highest Overguard you've seen so far? I have seen nearly 42K with maxed Precision Intensify and 8/10 maxed Blind Rage.
8/10 is not maxed btw
@@PandaRed28 Yeah, lazy about that
@@Nyarancia_ Very much appreciate the correction
10:15 What's that Syandana on your Excalibur?
Maaaan, I wish I had a second Dante to try that Slash build!
Already slotted in +90% toxin damage and +4 corrosive stacks through Archon Shards, with Archon Continuity so the Noctura can strip armor and an additional status primer.
Already 1-taps all factions, but would love to swap to +60% Duration with 4x Tau Crimsons with that Slash setup; but, Im not willing to give up my universal faction setup . ;-;
(Hope we can one day get loadout slots for Archon Shards as well, already have both Excalibur Prime and Umbra maxed with two different shard setups.)
That sounds quite interesting and right up my alley. Ty for the insight
The irony of everyone waiting for the nerf, is that apparently tragedy was bugging out and not dealing as much damage as it should, so, on a technicality, they have actually buffed him already lo.
Don't actualy need prime surefooted cause Dante have overguard
New to warframe but makn my way up n been watchn ur builds just hit SP cant wait to get the stuff to try this
Thanks mate now I can play a warframe that floats and isnt Wisp so I can no longer be judged for the wrong reasons
Oh I feel you... I hate all the Meta players judging me for using Wisps 4... That was what you meant, right? :P
@@MHBlacky_ENGerm well uh
What's wrong with Wisp?
I never understand these reactions. Sure they're red crits but look how little health they're losing.
its because the red crit tier multiplies the bleed status even further to do more damage that ignores armor. The initial damage doesn't matter as much in this case.
@@MiniKiller-lh1wm Wouldnt that just give time for them to attack you?
@@eduardobarros6562 I mean bleed proc takes 1 second, and ur doing glaive prime level of bleed procs, so ur kpm is very high
@@eduardobarros6562as you go higher and higher, one shotting enemies becomes almost impossible. Especially groups of enemies
That’s why slash is the best option, it might not kill them instantly but it still does it the fastest
@@samael5323 you do realize is ult consumes all status so you will always one shot? I took my build with roar against level 500 corrupted last night and was just nuking everything.
Until this video, I ranked him, them parked him; I didnt know what to do with him, so to the Helminth he went.
BUT, he's super easy to farm again.
Then I wish you good drop RNG and much fun once you have him again 😀
@@MHBlacky_ENG Itsallgood, farmed the last one in 45 min with a 3 man party in (what can easily be called) the most fun Disruption mission in the game (Maybe, the most fun continuous mission in the game!) Just before level 400 the enemies start to get a little spicy.
BUT,
I don't know if this is new to all Disruption missions now or just this one, but DE marks the "incoming"; And that makes all the difference here.
May be worth a look.
Thanks again.
U could also use a hound with that magnetic pulse it disarms enemies and spreads proca in like a 20m range wayyyy better than a zap
This is also a viable option, indeed ^^
Honestly, Dante is fairly balanced, but his range on his Tragedy and Dark Verse is just way too high default
Hopefully they'll just put a Los check on it and call it a day
@@fluffy338 making him ass and not worth using
Farmed dante in a few hours...after a 2 forma upgrade...and immediately though "nerf incoming" never even watched any build vids before getting him.
YELAN MENTIONED 🗣️🔥🔥
She’s cool and all but Dante reminds me of Alhaitham 🙂 with the whole animation.
I think its balanced because i gotta trade my irl finger health to cast my abilities
I find it odd when TH-camrs (the ones who mastered all the shit) sees that they can do these crazy things, but when I do something identical or just barely slightly off, it's a difference of night vs day... vs a fucking solar eclipse.
External stuff applies like archon shards, what enemies they test stuff on, arcanes matter a lot as well
I love your videos and have used them to seriously improve my builds to get into Steel Path! Thank you so much! Would you be down to make a video about squad builds? Is there a broken awesome way to go into hard content optimally with a full four-man team?
Wellspring works really well with it as noctua is one energy per shot
Just want to say RNG has been nice to me but aslo try playing till 7-8 rounds in the nee missions best chance to get the parts from whats i hve seen
Since his parts only drop from rotation B, having to let 2 of the defenses fail after round 3 gets old pretty quick.
I got the full set in just 20 waves (either by straightup drops OR via the currency)
I'm already building Dante, within the first 2 hours of the update I got him
Where can I buy the simalcrum room he's using?
From cephalon simaris
At the update's shop on Sanctum Anatomica from Loid
Assuming you already have access to the Simulacrum itself from Cephalon Simaris, Loid sells this particular room in his Dante shop in Sanctum Anatomica.
@@tai-imyr849 thank you I didn’t know that
For even more lols, give him a couple Crimson shards with secondary crit chance and a maxed out Arcane Velocity/Precision
It might be just me, but I never had any trouble with his enery economy. Granted, I run him with Energize, but his skills are rather cheap, so I could easily keep up the spam with just Streamline in the build.
That's good to hear actually ^^
The easier it is to get the Energy going, the better ^^
i am currently using the xata on the book nexus on frame and energized but i am using 3 tau yellows for casting speed so it means i will have some energy issues but it seems to be even at 200energy that way :D
12:56 The build
Alternatively the build i've been using you can ditch auger reach/stretch (wether you want 15% more range or 40% more energy use to shields) for equilibrium and ditch arcane energize for molt efficiency, his abilities don't really cost much especially since you don't have to cast often, prime a bunch, cast 2 dark verse(or vice versa) then ult, works pretty well, especially with an energy dethcube with helstrum to prime things too.
I personally only use the Alt fire + 1 Tome for energy regen and never run out of it.
@kurisu1204 Yeah, that works too, 100%, especially if you're using the tome a lot. I'm personally not using it, I'm running a status Cedo and abusing the ult for instant dot damage and just nuking SP, but I might honestly ditch my tome for roar
@@Jynogre yeah plausible, still not sure about the 1
Well with the eclipse change I may have made a monster of my own, His noctua I put on every mod that buffs.
