For a 6 month old game I think the content is fine. They said they had to hire additional people to keep up with demand. They also respond to community concerns quickly and make adjustments. I’m happy with this game. It’s probably my favorite game right now
I'm personally enjoying the game. I haven't been in a rush to do everything since it's a looter game. Been slowly grinding up my battle pass and increasing the levels of my descendants and guns. Actually feels good when you get your characters to a point where they're doing big dps. I think First Descendant is at a pretty good spot.
Yeah, I feel like it was a fair take, and I feel the same. I'm enjoying the game in bite-sized play sessions, and I'm pumped to see what they can do with it a few years from now.
There are people just like this guy complaining Warframe has no content and nothing to do... Know what they have in common? They're content creators with nothing else to do. How about they go play something else for a while. It's not the devs fault they blew through 100+ hours of content in less than a week
such a dumb take... A game is compared to the current market, not the "10 years ago" market. If you can't compete now, you'll die. Doesn't matter how late to the party you are. Nobody is saying "Give Diablo 4 10 years to catch up with PoE" that would be stupid.
I don’t think that’s a fair take. If you think TFD was gonna drop with the equivalent of 12 years of Warframe content you’re actually insane. Plus there were literally years where people didn’t wanna go near warframe becuase it was so bad
It doesn't matter if it's a "fair or dumb take", it's what has to happen for the game to remain a success; if WARFRAME hadn't been constantly updated and had a solid fanbase during those early years, today it wouldn't be what it is, and TFD should learn from that if they don't want to go through the same thing.
The only problem i think about TFD is the cost of everything. Its very expensive (i know you're not forced too) like for doubleing your capacity the thing cost 1200 in TFD so 20€$ and in warframe 20pl so 2€$ ? For the same thing the price X10. And i know you can farm it too but the thing at 6% drop rate kinda hit hard. I really love the game ngl and for exemple i only miss Keelan, ultimate Sharen is crafting but lets be honest for real, the price of everything is too expensive and if you want calibre in TFD you'll have to pay but in warframe if you want PL you can sell your prime or other thing to other player or you buy too.
the Descendants and the ultimate's aren't the only content . the regular weapons are great to max out and they can be powerful if you spend the same energy on them that u do on the ultimate's
I was actually considering this, and not just with Tamer LMG. I don't like Wave of Light, so Age of Innovation handles much better and could be worth activating. Excava, I never use the grenade thingy except by accident, so it is basically just an assault rifle. Does anyone know the resistances for Greg's fan-flame shotgun in Slumber Valley. I see that thing a lot everywhere (Kingston Spec Ops for instance), and it really hurts, pretty much all the time
The weapons are badly balanced. Only a handful are good. Heavy ammo weapons are a joke too because normally weapons do as much damage without the ammo problems. Even if they were higher dps, yellow stuff dies instantly in current content
People seem to not understand what a looter/ARPG is. D2 will probably outlive every single one of them here, and the "content" there is basically kicking demons around for better loot. The gameplay loop and the good character design are what matters in the end.
Bungie are the worst developers around. They shit on their playerbase on the daily. People say Nexon is so bad but TFDs developers have been amazing so far. They make a mistake they give you free stuff. They haven’t really needed anything unless it was clearly not working as intended.
He literally said its only been out for a few months? I enjoy the theory crafting aspect of the game it only keeps getting better since the DEVS actually listen to the player base.
This game will have the same issue as warframe had for many years. Lack of content... It's gonna be several years before the game is fully fleshed out with enough content. Nothing much to do and or discover in the open world. The story is not captivating. To be fair, the side story of Sharen and Freyna were good. I'm mr 28. I enjoy the game for what it is.
@@katmiller614 Same here got everything unlocked since I have like 1000+ hours, now when I log I just accumulate resources for future fellows and weapon upgrades, ppl that say story is not captivating they either skip or idk maybe they don't like sci-fi because its really good considering its all free content, ppl saying monetization its predatory are out of their minds alth prices can be considered pretty high those are the only ways of income the game has to support themselves, there's no content lock everything is attainable in game other than thr premium cosmetics and some cosmetics are even attainable in game with free battle pass rewards or seasonal events along with the random dyes and storage and inventory slots from eta00 every week.
7:09 as someone that has 2K+ hours in warframe and plays the first descendent 40 hours now. The game for me is just like something to do. It doesn’t have the greatest story so far maybe they would refine the story later on. The game has the same problem as Warframe used to have where there’s not enough content at the at the start of the game’s lifespan may maybe in a couple years or so with refinement it would be better. Even if it does become better I think I’ll play it just like Warframe come back when there’s an update. Grind then play a different game like red dead.
The problem with players is that they want everything in the game today or next and once they run through the very little content this game has then they complain there isn't no content TFD is still on it's mother's milk and won't wing off the milk for years to come. The game is very young yes there are things to do in this game but keep in mind it's not Warframe that has so much stuff to do The devs release new content every 3 months And it doesn't help that the devs are making their content super easy therefore players run through it so fast and again they complain. There is no content.
To be honest he's right yall,we been mixing content with grind,in one week I got almost what I wanted but it was the same thing over in over I think that's why I came back to warframe because it's really so much to do but so much content and different game modes
Considering how young the game is, TFD's received a tremendous amount of TLC and improvements from the devs to get it into a really nice spot. Personally, I'm having a blast with it so far and look forward to where they take things.
I’ve been on a quest to get all gold rolls on everything for my ult freyna/sharen for mobbing and bossing. Getting close, but still plenty to do. After that I’ll probably build out hailey and perforator. The fun for me comes from setting goals for myself and also just playing descendants I like while farming makes farming enjoyable. The game feels good to play, so it doesn’t necessarily matter what I’m doing, it’s always a good time for me.
This game is pretty much all about grinding, collecting and maxing out. Ofc there's the fan service aspect as an extra for those who like it. 😀 Game's only a little less than 6 months old so the END GAME content problem is just a matter of time be solved with each update.
Tbh some people enjoy the predictability of a game, instead of having to log in every once in a while to keep track of what's the new meta, how to get the 27 new material per season etc... There's surely a game you left for 6 months just to get back and having to relearn all the new meta.
Made a recent discovery that applies to most games nowadays and that is after you've grinded for whatever it was that fancies you there's little left for you to actually do. Fight the same enemies you just grinded? Half my playtime is grinding and I truly found that depressing! Wish more games focused on horizontal progression rather than a never ending gear/power carrot chase.
I thought I was tripping when I thought about it recently like what exactly do I have to do after I get Ult Sharen and try the 2 new content which I know will get monotonous sooner than later. I like the game just getting to that point where I take a break to just let it expand more.
we 100% need more content I have almost every single gun maxed out. I am mastery rank 27. Level five reactors for all of my main descendants, also I have all the descendants. Yes we need more content .and tell them to stop breaking up DLC into two parts. War frame doesn’t do that bs.
@@zeroxepntance maybe stay away from MMO’s if you can’t stand to grind. It’s a core feature in every MMO. Like you should know what you’re signing up for when you play one lol
I love this game , I truly do , and I have no complaints except the fact that I’m constantly waiting for something new to come out , because I already have everything, and I mean everything, but hey , that’s every game
Great Video, I think it's pretty honest and touches on what the game offers right now, this game as of today is 5 months and 19 days old, there's still a lot I need to grind and I've been playing since day 1, July 2nd was its released date. I remember how empty and dead was D2 vanilla, absolutely zero to do and the first 2 expansions didnt do anything to help, it took years for D2 to get to a decent state and TFD already has a Dev team fully behind their game and working Hard and the game is looking FAR BETTER than D2 and Warframe in their first 5 months. And to mention the most important aspect, TFD is a huge slap in the face of modern games infested with uglyfication of female characters and WOKE/DEI and Censorship agendas. No other game currently out right now will let You shoot and kill monsters using extremely Beautiful Female Characters wearing a Bikini and Heels. Only StellarBlade comes close.
My big problem with TFD is that it's core gameplay is lackluster. Both it's competitors have pretty fun movement tech, Warframe and D2, and while the grapple is cool it still needs improvements. Gunplay is decent but no real unique reload, no reverb, and a severe lack of creativity in how some of them fire. I think overall abilities are good though. There just seems to be a lack of "rule of cool" in the game. Also monetization.
Id your just a casual player.... you have alot of content....if your heavily into 1st descended... meaning you completed all the guns and descended. . your rank is 28 to 30... then there is another for you.... other than helping new players...
Great explanation of the current problem with the community and the "lack of content". Since the game is following the Warframe grind system it makes grinding for things "the content". I think that with time and with the upcoming years of this games life I hope they can reach a point where they can expand upon a wide universe of places and species that we will encounter. Outside of that I wish that the skins and other accessories weren't placed behind an expensive, takes around $7.50 for a single skin or $27.50 for a bundle of skins, instead of making the battlepass worth it by putting one or two of the premium skins in there to work to get. Anyway end of rant, thanks for the video!
I played TFD on launch and loved it so much I grinded a few weps and like 3 ulti descendants in like no time at all. But, after there legit was nothing to do other than rerolling wep perks to make my weps .01% stronger.
That's what made me stop playing this game after so many hours. I realized I was grinding for characters and weapons to grind for more characters and weapons to grind for more characters and weapons and that's it. The game is just the grind.
There is plenty of content of the casual player, what the title really need to say is there is no end game content, content for the whales and hardcore players. We will see with the second half of season 2 if these 30 wave dungeons can meet expectations.
Having over 2100 hours in game and having most things, I still find lots to do. Even before the new season dropped I was spending time trying out different builds for the descendants and revisiting older missions to see how much faster I could speed run them. I hate grinding, so I'd just vary what I'm doing - like farming for 6 different guns at the same time instead of repeating the same missions for just one gun. As for the drops - it's just the luck of RnG as to what you get. I have done 20 missions to get a 'donut' blueprint, and other times I've had 3 consecutive donut drops. Nexon have now added a 'pity system', a bad luck filter, so if your part doesn't drop after so many tries, they it becomes guaranteed. My only issue is that my aim is so bad coz I'm getting constantly distracted (dick-stracted?) by all that lovely booty 🤣🤣
Its mostly a thing of how much you enjoy chill grind or repetitive content really bothers you, so its not your type of game, that said they should release good amounts of content in new patches specially the big ones, like new areas in the map and multiple new dungeons, there are many great things in season two, but also a lack of actually new content, only one ten minute dungeon with two variants isnt enough.
maybe don't speed through everything first they say they came out this July and the fact that there's people that have everything in the game already and we're only in season two is kind of funny that they're asking for a new content when they're the ones blowing through it all and not actually enjoying it
Playing content slower doesn’t magically increase the amount of content. That’s like telling someone to eat their plate slower and they’ll have more food. What’s on the plate is on the plate
As a Warframe player with over 6k hours under my belt, new weapons are not content. New characters are barely content. Single run quests are content, but only briefly. New mission zones, new mission types, these are the content we hunger for long term. Soemthing akin to the syndicates of warframe would be a decent addition, guild/clan support as well. That TFD can learn and borrow much from Warframe is not in dispute as far as I can see, but there are things Warframe can learn from TFD as well. I hope they both find inspiration and improve, but to aay TFD does not have a content problem is not accurate. When you have the backing it has and the competition as well, you need to catch up before the shiny newness wears off or risk losing your playerbase to things that just offer more.
Personally, I've got a vast majority of everything from Primes, to Codex entries in Warframe - even have nearly 100 (i think) god rolled rivens i got myself the old fashioned way, and hardly find myself bored with the game. I think DE did a good job of making the core gameplay loop simple, and require minimal maintenance, but easy to add little bits and pieces too every few months. I guess it's my fault for burning through the game, but TFD just doesn't hit the same. And Nexon had what DE didn't, competition they could borrow ideas from - there'd still be trial and error and a need to stand out, but you already have a general idea for a lot of things that can and can't work, and I just feel that wasn't taken advantage of enough here.
Bruh I love descendent despite being my first looter shooter game in early days grind was too much but I got hang of it and now it way easy then it was before and they keep buffing characters so its fun to play all of them and new ult guns are fun to play and grind behind it Those who are complaining got nothing to do in there life they just open web and stars vomiting And dont forget the about of free goodies with this update I got so many free catalyst and Activator just by logging in game what grind my ass lol I LOVE FIRST DESCENDENT AND LOVED ITS CHARACTERS AND SKINS CHANGE MY MIND !!!!
i play warframe everyday 1 hr each and play tfd every weekend. i quit tfd before coz i already have everything built by playing every weekend. and playing tfd hurts me.. they have a working open world with no bounty system in place ... and they will focus more on adding jiggle physics than putting an npc on the open world that gives quest is the thing that makes me think they dont want to add more content in the game than being a grinding simulator. by playing every weekend i already finished the seasonal inversion.. do i want to grind the slayer set?.. nope. and there you go.. no more content.
And once you've caught up on unlocking or grinding the descendants and weapons, you don't need to continue playing, that's entirely up to you. There's still a lot of content there, you just no longer want to do it, doesn't mean there's nothing to do. I've been playing on and off this last week, casually grinding for the doggo, I'm taking my time and trying not to burn out on it, and even when I do, I play something else, until I feel like I want to come back to it. Bare in mind TFD is still new, so more content is to come and changes will be made down the line to adjust content and progression moving forward. I'm looking forward to seeing what this game will become in the next few years.
What gets me is they made Sharen and instead of making her drop from something interesting, they put her in content that is badly made(outposts) and not something new.
True. First descendant hasn't even been out for a year, so of course it doesn't have alot of content like warframe but i legit don't get why people bash TFD over this. Eventually (hopefully) the game receives the same amount of content as warframe has gotten because personally i love it, only because I've been playing tfd since day 1. With warframe i like it but, theres so much content there now that it's become overwhelming.
1. First and foremost leveling gear is not content and it will never be content. Thankfully first descendant will give 100% of exp to a decendant and held weapon and a % of that exp amount to side weapons so unlike warframe you don't have to unequip your gear and only use a weapon you have 0 or low investment in to level it. 2. I do want more varied game modes that are fun in descendant. Something that warframe has an issue with, it might have 40+ different game modes but only like 5 are above decent in design for fun and that's me being generous. Bossing in warframe is beyond garbage and majority of the game modes have annoyances that need to be fixed, which for some reason still aren't 11 years later. I am more hopeful for WF now that the lead and creative lead changed to people who play the game at least. However they still havn't announced a major overhaul of game modes 3. Before season 2 I would say there was some RNG to getting what you want, but now that you don't need to stealth for a relic drop and have a way to reverse item rarity of relics, there's really no bad rng to getting what you would want. This RNG acquisition will only be improved further once they expand reward targeting to more things which is a system I wish every rpg in general had not just looter shooters. 4. At least after all the updates before season 2, getting first descendant's version of catalyst and forma was simple and they made it even easier post-season 2. And unlike warframe you do start with 50 or for descendants 60 capacity to make a build before a single polarity is even in consideration. Not to mention there were talks of transferring base investment to the ultimate descendants which is something I've asked for so long in warframe. 5. While they obviously need to add onto the post-story. They do also have to plan a rework of the normal story, that was excruciating for me and friends to get through and will keep people from trying the game as there's quite a difference in normal game mode mechanics vs hard mode mechanics. Some of the bad game modes did get some rework but they need to remove the weird progress missions only being their fastest with 4 people. And also normal game modes feels a lot like "just stand in the circle" for too much things in succession. All in all I do think there is a player growth first descendant can see with all they laid out for future content they add and will personally continue playing it along other games. Lastly while removing so much grind as they have will remove playtime, it's better to have players feel fond of playing the actual game then leave to come back when more comes. Rather than force players to experience unpleasant parts of the game just to keep player numbers and creating bad experiences or annoyances at the game. Now if we can reach a monster hunter level of this, it'd be spectacular. For right now I'd rate it under monster hunter, isometric arpgs, remnant, stranger of paradise, and granblue fantasy relink, but above warframe which is a good spot to be since I still consider warframe good with its flaws. Still waiting for DE to rework WF game modes so I can fully recommend it entirely instead of only suggest it to those who havn't played it. I am also hope first descendant rework their normal content so i can recommend that.
I think that is the Biggest issue players face, they come to a new game expect that new game to have the same content as the other game you were playing. (IE POE Vs Diablo4) or (Warframe vs TFD) And of course you will be cursed with well what do I do today, Sad part is too many players don't set goals Like For me I want to get to 50 crystals So when I want to focus on Ult Sharen and the new female descendant coming I don't need to worry so much about farming so heavily Got me plenty of mushrooms 12 atm so not so worried about those. People forget sometimes we play games to enjoy the game for what it is for the most part Not what another game is, Yes it is nice to take inspiration from other games that are good concepts But we should never just copy paste. I play other games so I am not reminded 24/7 of the other game I played. I want fresh Idea's, I want Idea's built on great Idea's from other games that make it feel different. I can't tell you how bad it felt when Blizzard just straight up copy pasted Idea's from other games into their IP's Because Now I will constantly be reminded of Earth Worm Jim or varies of other tittles.
this game made me farmed luna, 3 ults - valby, freyna, & sharen in less than 2 weeks. plus the dog & couple of guns. the content is too keep on grinding to farm & strengthen your waifus, strengthen their gears, customize their looks, & admire them 😅. just don't buy descendants. farm them. it's very satisfying to get them from farming. i only spend on bp & some cosmetics.
Any game lacks content... when the story/main quest is done, there is nothing else but repeating it all over, and if that repetition of the gameplay (mindless non tactical 3rd person action shooting) is not interesting enough, there is no content. If the "shooting" isnt convincing, than there is just nothing to do, everywhere, in any game. Grind was, is and never will be content. I do not realy get that "content" and "endgame" talk at all. What is content, what is endgame? Is content the things we walk towards and experience for the first time? The variations of what we can do? When does it get stale? If thats what we look for, than we are in trouble, content is consumed much much faster than any dev can create. Whats with the endgame? For a starter the "hard mode" is endgame, later its the 400% dungeons, and later maybe "Death Stalker"? But isnt that just consumable content? When the gameplay is bad, does it realy matter if there is just one boss or a hundred? When the game itself isnt interesting enough "for you", than no amount of content is going to help, be it 1 mission or a trillion you will never see in your lifetime even when you play 24/7. To me the gameplay is not realy convincing, the shooting is better in warframe, the parkour as well, the grind is much worse in TFD and there are some minor things they could have done much better. But it was not all that shiny in Warframe when it got released, so I gues we will see what the future holds in store for TFD.
Good video. I am happy with the game. I quit around gluttony and came back. I like having a game that is chill, and I don't have to play all the time. Ibam hoping they don't change invasions as its a good gold farm that I hope remains. I will not run in a circle all day to get materials, hence my main reason for leaving. How are people building bunny? I see you have a crut build bit she is only 10 percent base. Is this her meta? I have just been throwing on damage mods.
Bunny was the first one I catalised and partially copied a build from a friend. For the most part I put on what felt nice to use, so if I felt like I didn't have enough shields, I'd swap something out to give more shields. Not that I don't follow the Meta, I am aware of it, but I play was feels fun not what people consider to be the "right" way to play.
@Digital125 kinda how I do my builds. I only have 1 catalyst in her and can kill Devourer before enraging consistently. My Viesa and Gley I have a lot more investment in, but she is feeling good. I am struggling with the abyss colosis, so I am trying to do something meta to get past that. My Viesa is a critical build and hits hard, but I have not gotten past it yet. Thanks
I’d say the game is mostly fine when it comes to the grind but lacks incentive to explore the over world cuz they’re so empty and the mission/outpost structure is bland. I heard they’re reworking outposts tho and they’ve already included the outpost rewards in the daily invasions too.
I thought the same when I started playing, but there's a lot more to the game than just the story. I'm still hoping for more story updates in the future, because what we're getting with the descendant stories, whilst good, just aren't enough.
Imagine playing looter shooter game and not expect a lot of grinding. Atleast the grind in TFD is far better than old MMORPG game, since it was far more enjoyable.
Give it a rest edgelord. No game has Devs as responsive as TFD. They've made the grind way too easy, and are working overtime adding more contact and letting the players know what is planned.
I quit, too much ass, low drop rates and overpriced store without much to do other than farm until the xp farm gets nerfed. I love hot chics but if thats the only selling point meh, enough to buy packs, not enough to play
The game definitely needs more content and the devs know it and theyre working hard on it. The game is not perfect but its not an empty wasteland. And no the problem is not drop rates we have now the chance to get amorphous materials from infiltrations and we have new shape stabilizers, and target objectives (i could easily unlock my dog with the new system, and I unlock Keelan farming food for my dog) the problem are reactor farming, despite the recent update the reactor suck and theyre the worst part of the game, we are getting dimensional on singular reactors and a lot of dumb crap, it doesn't matter how much times you try it you get a lot is useless reactors e and farming those is repetitive and exausting. Oh and youre wrong Sharen has her own story.
When i heard "im trying to reach monetization", i checked the subscribers count and wtf ? Dude make a good video overall with some joke here and there couple with a good editing and pace when it come to talking, 150 subscribers? Tf is this, only ? Not more ?
I agree the game urgently needs CONTENT content and not a tiny thing called content!!! Void ship ok, Keelan ok, Supreme Sharen ok and that's it!!! It's time for content, a DLC with more stories, not these tiny things.
game is boring, also like 99% of the characters are useless and are only needed for mastery xp. Freyna, Bunny and Hailey are the only characters you need and if you do matchmaking and the randoms dont see a squad full of those character they leave
Compared to warframe its less content , abit more grind but most importantly less free to play friendly when it comes to cosmetics. But the character's are hot tho.
So... Let's totally forget games that have done this formula well before this? Also... Gatcha!? Mobile!? The content problem is actually this video. Do research before soaking this fast food junk for your brain.
I think there is an element of make your own fun here and theory crafting. If you're into investing time into something and failing, you'll probably find some "deeper" enjoyment here. The game is VERY grindy, but always in bite size bits...minus Void Vessel missions (grrrr). The big trick, when starting, I think is to focus ONE Descendant for a bit. The game actually GIVES you 2 mob-destroying Characters and an S tier mobbing gun by just playing through. But definitely does have some issues with grind and drop rate. I definitely enjoy it, though.
Name literally any entertainment that doesn't have an element of make your own fun though. It's like the "this is fun when played cooperatively" excuse. Doesn't hold water because that's true of literally everything.
@@AllfatherBlack I'll disagree. Sticking just to games, there are plenty that are designed with a direct "fun" factor in mind, and don't have "create your own" built in. In Dark Souls, you don't play it because it's a casual run through a story, you play specifically for the challenge. There isn't any other option. Same with fighting games, you don't expect slow paced gameplay. TFD wears its style on its sleeve as well. You're going to do the same over and over and over in hopes of increasing you Descendant power. There's tons of modules to theory craft with, and also reviewed enough at this point that people should have a good idea on what they're getting into. So if you like games like it, there is content. If you don't then you probably find there isn't much to do and it's not for you. That said, it's far from perfect and still early in its life cycle, so we'll see what happens.
warfarme gave a decade yes but at it time barley any game have the same system unlike destiny the fist descendance have so many games can learn from so it no excuse for the bad loot system
There is a lot of content to me content would be new character and new weapons it and stuff Like personally the game is good to me but grinding would always be a thing now and days in general sadly like there are very few games you wont be grinding
@@Digital125 played warframe when it came out and it was steaming pile of shit xD but still I just let the devs cook and now the game is great game with lots of contents to farm. the main issue i see with people now days they just want all the content made by day one xD chill and enjoy what is out and play something else when you done.
@@Passivepotatoyes, this is my same view. I'm having fun on TFD and really like it. When I get bored of it I'll play one of the many games in my collection that are collecting dust until the next update.
@@Passivepotatowhy do you take someone’s opinion as hate bro yall are so disturbing and emotional babies soon as someone says anything not praising something you like you are ready to kill grow up 😂
This is already a problem with this game! lack of actual content, not this stupid grind that doesn't change anything much. As reference I have 400+ hrs in the game so far. Its obvious it has a massive warframe influence in the game, but coincidentally they intentionally copied the worse parts from them... but made worse somehow? How did that even happen? Edit: This is not a "its a new game problem cope", they intentionally made a inferior version of base warframe. Worse grind, worse story, worse game modes, worse micro transaction, worse pricing, worse gameplay loop, worse end game, worse crafting time. I don't know how to even defend this at this point with its CURRENT STATE. I'm not saying it should be a warframe like game, but at least be a better game for my time at least, I gave it a fair shot but I just quit the game yesterday because there is nothing really to do in this game after the story and a few end game challenges.
TFD need to simplify their grind...meaning make it so much easier than the competition ...i personally think its too much static as to the materials list needed for doing simple tasks, building components like the weapon leveling like wtf is all that as you mentioned warframe yeah it had many years to perfect their formula and TFD has been arouund for some months but they have a template an example to do even better and still didnt like wtf
I quit Destiny 2 in september after playing it 6000h. The Finals Descendant is in early development, need a lot more content, but it feels right and i have a lot of fun (almost 700h played). The grind is totally ok, cause it`s a grinding game, and the devs are MUCH better than the ones from Bungie ... I LOVE IT !
Drop rates are fine it's just the self deserving people of today, They think they are owed because they was born, They expect everything when they want it or they cry and complain.
Quit this game 3 weeks after it came it wasnt good and still isnt im enjoying warframe 1999 and genshin impact so no regrets and tfd copied so much from warframe and had so much time but made everything worse so no sympathy player count can't even spike past 35k when new content drops lmao
TFD and Warframe share the same formula so if course they will overlap in some places, but I find it impractical to compare a 10 year old game to a game less than a year old but it's all down to personal preference, I liked Star Rail instead of Genshin myself as I preferred its format over Genshin's, same with TFD, I prefer its format over Warframe despite me putting countless hours in Warframe over the years. You like Apples, I like Oranges, no biggie.
@@Digital125 Long read incoming im definitely comparing it to warframe becuase of the either failed copied systems or purposely bad copied systems and the fact that 90% that was copied (for the record I was happy in the beginning) for example energy activators (warframe orokin reactors and catalysts) increase descendant mod capacity and weapon mod capacity while crystallization catalysts (warframe forma) allow for polarization. You need more crystallization catalysts than forma to make a descendant strong the mod system feels like using already maxed out mods that warframe has but the mods feel weak even at max stats. Abilities feel weak as well and don't synergize the pet aspect again is copied. Leveling descendants and weapons to 40 takes much longer than warframe (I know the pity system is coming) the drop rates are unreal and caliber compared to warframes platinum is predatory and customization is just practically nudity. So yeah I know i will get chastised by white knights it's ok look I wanted to like tfd I had fun for about 2 weeks and gave 1 more but the cons heavily outweighed the pros so yeah there you go
Yeah I understand the comparison can't not be made, and it'll always be compared because both games follow the same formula (modules, reactors, catalysts etc) and to say "X copied Y" does make sense, it's almost inevitable. Every game to some degree has "copied" something from another, Genshin, HSR, ZZZ, WW, ToF all follow the same Gacha formula and are always compared with each other, but they all have their own unique take on the genre. I'd like to think that over the next few years TFD will go in a direction that'll make it less comparable and bit more competitive with Warframe, that way both games can strive to be better, but again, Warframe has a decade on TFD so will always come out on top, at least for now, but we'll have to wait and see.
@@Digital125 no what tfd copied from is 10 years old but its core systems were made worse why? It seems intentional becusse they literally had a template to copy from but did it worse. They had so much time to work with said template so I will always compare a 10 year old to tfd I don't care about the time frame when content and core systems are worse that's my point
@@zeroxepntance I'd say that's subjective, as I've played both games, and prefer TFDs system over Warframe, the gameplay gels more with me than Warframes, so you can say it's worse than Warframes, sure, but like I said in the video, It's Apples and Oranges 👍
bro said content problem this why you wont go far this topic is dumb and you lack a major understanding of how these things work lmao there is far from a content issue games not made to be played all day everyday
No the game doesn't have a content problem... The gaming industry has a content creator problem. I'm sorry it's not anywhere near reasonable to expect a dev team for a F2P game to be pumping out content left and right so that all you no life's can stay occupied 20 hours a day. The game has no content because you blew through it. Deal with it
@@kevinherronjr3998 you're the one with no logic. It's not logical to think they have to provide another mile for you to run just because you finished it before everyone else. That's entitled as shit. Again that's not a content problem that's a you not having a life problem. You'll get the next mile when EVERYONE gets the next mile. If you can't handle the fact you aren't special then that's a you problem.
If you want a story, go play a story game. If you don’t like the grind, go play a game catered to scrubs that want everything on the first try. The game is 6 months old, let the devs cook
Absolutely, I'm looking to see where the game sits in the next year or two.
Well, it took a couple of years for WARFRAME to reach the success that has nowadays, TFD just has a few months of existence so give it some time.
@@samuraiedge2619 I disagree. If TFD can't compete with how Warframe is RIGHT NOW, then it dies. Period. Any other viewpoint is cope.
Yes! And are also a good source of Mastery Rank EXP!
I see that thing a lot everywhere (Kingston Spec Ops for instance), and it really hurts, pretty much all the time
All the weapons are bad. They look bad. Their skills are pretty useless.
The weapons are badly balanced. Only a handful are good. Heavy ammo weapons are a joke too because normally weapons do as much damage without the ammo problems. Even if they were higher dps, yellow stuff dies instantly in current content
143 subs and almost a million views is absolutely insane bro, keep it up
Still a ways away from a million but I appreciate it thank you
People seem to not understand what a looter/ARPG is. D2 will probably outlive every single one of them here, and the "content" there is basically kicking demons around for better loot.
The gameplay loop and the good character design are what matters in the end.
you mean diablo 2? cause i know you don't mean destiny 2 that thing is dying and its by no other then bungie themselves killing it lol
Bungie are the worst developers around. They shit on their playerbase on the daily. People say Nexon is so bad but TFDs developers have been amazing so far. They make a mistake they give you free stuff. They haven’t really needed anything unless it was clearly not working as intended.
Needed = nerfed**
He literally said its only been out for a few months? I enjoy the theory crafting aspect of the game it only keeps getting better since the DEVS actually listen to the player base.
I love these devs. Coming from games like Destiny 2 and Division 2 these devs are amazing
I mean most ppl don’t have this problem unless they’ve already pumped 1500+ hrs into the game
I actually enjoyed the story a lot. The game has a lot of potential imo they just have to keep adding lore I guess. Oh I’m also MR 28
Grind then play a different game like red dead.
ahhh, what are you talking about. theres tons of content. i play every day and i still dont have everything maxed.
@@godsbane13 yeah same, I don't play every day but I'm more than a casual player and I've still got plenty of stuff to grind
The problem with players is that they want everything in the game today or next and once they run through the very little content this game has then they complain there isn't no content
TFD is still on it's mother's milk and won't wing off the milk for years to come. The game is very young yes there are things to do in this game but keep in mind it's not Warframe that has so much stuff to do
The devs release new content every 3 months And it doesn't help that the devs are making their content super easy therefore players run through it so fast and again they complain. There is no content.
So wat do you have to say to the ppl who have everything? 🤔
@@dasiyaking9031 Play something else until you feel like you want to play TFD again?
To be honest he's right yall,we been mixing content with grind,in one week I got almost what I wanted but it was the same thing over in over I think that's why I came back to warframe because it's really so much to do but so much content and different game modes
I’m a warframe player but it’s my 3rd week playing Tfd consistently and I can’t stop
Same
You got it 💜💞
TFD has huge potential cant wait to see it grow
This game is pretty much all about grinding, collecting and maxing out. Ofc there's the fan service aspect as an extra for those who like it. 😀 Game's only a little less than 6 months old so the END GAME content problem is just a matter of time be solved with each update.
S2 update has more than enough content
The grind is the content lol eternal, everlasting grind
I thought I was tripping when I thought about it recently like what exactly do I have to do after I get Ult Sharen and try the 2 new content which I know will get monotonous sooner than later. I like the game just getting to that point where I take a break to just let it expand more.
we 100% need more content I have almost every single gun maxed out. I am mastery rank 27. Level five reactors for all of my main descendants, also I have all the descendants. Yes we need more content .and tell them to stop breaking up DLC into two parts. War frame doesn’t do that bs.
i think the drop rate now is better than it was months ago
Yeah the drop rates do feel fair, I've only had a few instances where I called bullshit, but I've not had any drops be completely against me.
It's complete bullshit

good take, also, the power of a dog in a game popularity, this game peak players skyrocket in season 2
If it wasn’t for the events it gets boring real fast doing the same stuff over and over.
My only gripe here is when getting descendants parts being on vastly different locations and bosses instead of all the parts dropping on one boss

Helping new players is always a good thing, again because you'll be getting materials and other components for future crafting and research.
TFD should copycat some diablo contents like pit tiers, nightmare dungeons.
0:00 its still FULL enough
I enjoyed doing the story missions but after that it got boring asf
This game is about maxing guns and characters and then having nothing challenging to use them on.
I think that nothing could ever please people like you
Love to hear that soundtrack 😁 Keep that up.
maybe don't speed through everything first they say they came out this July and the fact that there's people that have everything in the game already and we're only in season two is kind of funny that they're asking for a new content when they're the ones blowing through it all and not actually enjoying it
Playing content slower doesn’t magically increase the amount of content.
I never play this game because it live service and sound grindy to me. But i enjoy your video. good content man!
Bruh I love descendent despite being my first looter shooter game
in early days grind was too much but I got hang of it and now it way easy then it was before and they keep buffing characters so its fun to play all of them and new ult guns are fun to play and grind behind it
Those who are complaining got nothing to do in there life they just open web and stars vomiting
And dont forget the about of free goodies with this update I got so many free catalyst and Activator just by logging in game what grind my ass lol
I LOVE FIRST DESCENDENT AND LOVED ITS CHARACTERS AND SKINS
CHANGE MY MIND !!!!
i play warframe everyday 1 hr each and play tfd every weekend. i quit tfd before coz i already have everything built by playing every weekend. and playing tfd hurts me.. they have a working open world with no bounty system in place ... and they will focus more on adding jiggle physics than putting an npc on the open world that gives quest is the thing that makes me think they dont want to add more content in the game than being a grinding simulator. by playing every weekend i already finished the seasonal inversion.. do i want to grind the slayer set?.. nope. and there you go.. no more content.
Hopefully the Outpost rework fixes a few things
@ maybe! I’m just not sure what else the can do with the mechanic except maybe add in rare spawns like mmos have
However they still havn't announced a major overhaul of game modes
Well said! 👏
I agree. My only complaint is that the game has performance issues and needs better optimization. Otherwise this has been my game of the year

TFD has the same problem as all other looter shooters. Grind is the content.
this game made me farmed luna, 3 ults - valby, freyna, & sharen in less than 2 weeks. plus the dog & couple of guns. the content is too keep on grinding to farm & strengthen your waifus, strengthen their gears, customize their looks, & admire them 😅. just don't buy descendants. farm them. it's very satisfying to get them from farming. i only spend on bp & some cosmetics.
Give it time. This game has room to grow. I would like to see some world bosses added to the game, and add in META events, like Guild Wars 2.
...a couple of months?? Really?
2nd of July TFD was released.
I do t mind grinding but the rates gotta be better. Hours and hours wasted doesn’t feel good.
Thanks
It doesnt have a lot of content but youre gonna be playing with one hand anyway so its gonna take you twice as long to finish everything xD
I remember when this game came out people hyping this game like " There's no other game like this" it's the best game out now😂🤣🤣🤣
6 month old looter-shooter focused on grinding exists:
Some random youtuber: WHERE'S THE CONTENT?!
I’d say the game is mostly fine when it comes to the grind but lacks incentive to explore the over world cuz they’re so empty and the mission/outpost structure is bland. I heard they’re reworking outposts tho and they’ve already included the outpost rewards in the daily invasions too.
Yeh, i quit after finishing the story. It's shocking how little content actually is in this "game" and how many people are okay with it. . .
It's a NEXON game, why is *_ANYONE_* surprised.
Give it a rest edgelord. No game has Devs as responsive as TFD. They've made the grind way too easy, and are working overtime adding more contact and letting the players know what is planned.
@TheJsholladay Hot damn, what kind of level of white knighting is this? No wonder this publisher keeps releasing trash
@@TheJsholladay you prolly goon to bunny, freyna and hailey haha 😅
@@blackcat7k why? Because I like the game and tired of feeble minded plebs going on about something that happened in the past?
@@zeroxepntance nah, just enjoy the game. If I'll goon over anyone it's my wife.
I quit, too much ass, low drop rates and overpriced store without much to do other than farm until the xp farm gets nerfed. I love hot chics but if thats the only selling point meh, enough to buy packs, not enough to play
What do I do with all my skins 😂
Sometimes my hand rest my head an i think oh wow😂
When i heard "im trying to reach monetization", i checked the subscribers count and wtf ?
Dude make a good video overall with some joke here and there couple with a good editing and pace when it come to talking, 150 subscribers? Tf is this, only ? Not more ?
Thank you!
I agree the game urgently needs CONTENT content and not a tiny thing called content!!! Void ship ok, Keelan ok, Supreme Sharen ok and that's it!!! It's time for content, a DLC with more stories, not these tiny things.
So this is just another Destiny2 but on 3rd person cam and got some jiggle.
Jiggle hasn't been added yet. If only Stellar Blade was on PC :(
Na D2 is actually boody
I would say that D4 in 3rd person is a better comparison than WF, mainly because it doesn't look as weird as WF
Destiny 2 is bad for different reasons. Bungie are greedy liars and shit on their community. TFD is just getting started people need to chill
game is boring, also like 99% of the characters are useless and are only needed for mastery xp. Freyna, Bunny and Hailey are the only characters you need and if you do matchmaking and the randoms dont see a squad full of those character they leave
Compared to warframe its less content , abit more grind but most importantly less free to play friendly when it comes to cosmetics. But the character's are hot tho.
TFD is one of the most boring and repetitive Grind games I've ever played
There is no content problem
Just boot up Warframe and tell yourself it's the new Update
So... Let's totally forget games that have done this formula well before this? Also... Gatcha!? Mobile!? The content problem is actually this video. Do research before soaking this fast food junk for your brain.
Content is everywhere if a life is there
Lmao no there is no content look at warframe
Your comparing a 6 month old game to a 12 year old game? Plus most of Warframes content is boring AF
There is a lot of content to me content would be new character and new weapons it and stuff
Like personally the game is good to me but grinding would always be a thing now and days in general sadly like there are very few games you wont be grinding
Oh no its just season 2 and we get more contend all the time.... i cant wait one mire season bla bla
lmao, good bait video bro. game has more than enough things to do, 1:28 you could dothe same in tfd people complain about anything now days.
I'm not actually complaining about the content, I actually thinks there's a lot to do, I'm on your side, I like the grind!
@@Passivepotatowhy do you take someone’s opinion as hate bro yall are so disturbing and emotional babies soon as someone says anything not praising something you like you are ready to kill grow up 😂
uhh... they post new content every 3 months? brah yall cant even survived 400% or solo hard mode bosses, go learn the game mechanic.
There is also story for Sharen which you forgot to mention
When? I dont remember playing that story. Unless i was so bored that i forgot
I actually did mention... although briefly
@@Digital125
Long read incoming
im definitely comparing it to warframe becuase of the either failed copied systems or purposely bad copied systems and the fact that 90% that was copied (for the record I was happy in the beginning) for example energy activators (warframe orokin reactors and catalysts) increase descendant mod capacity and weapon mod capacity while crystallization catalysts (warframe forma) allow for polarization.
@@zeroxepntance I'd say that's subjective, as I've played both games, and prefer TFDs system over Warframe, the gameplay gels more with me than Warframes, so you can say it's worse than Warframes, sure, but like I said in the video, It's Apples and Oranges 👍
dude... the game takes time to mastering and unlock all characters, content is right
the game is fun AF with friends
bro said content problem this why you wont go far this topic is dumb and you lack a major understanding of how these things work lmao there is far from a content issue games not made to be played all day everyday
Deal with it
If I run a mile faster than you it doesn’t mean I ran less than a mile. Taking your time doesn’t increase content. Zero logic
And I agree, I am letting the devs cook and hopefully they can deliver
