Wheneve someone wins 1p I always get the picture in my head of them walking out of the building, and Noel flicking 1p over to them just before they leave 'Oh, here's your winnings!' *FLICK*
isnt it interesting that you have same odds winning the 1p as you have winning the 250k yet it seems like so many people win the 1p. probably because people deal too soon so never get a chance!
Ha ha ha it's so funny. Just that look on there faces. Ha ha ha. Yeah oh im in the 1P club..... Wheres NOTHING club video..... Ha ha ha.... I enjoy watching it everyday it's a lovely game show.
game show taxes are 52.5% in UK, which to a penny is impossible to break into that, thus it will be rounded and the whole penny will be taken away as tax
I know what you are sayin but people deal before they get to the 250. Ive seen the 250 in the box at the end about 15 times but i cant be sure. Also people swap the box at the end so you have to count that too.
Oh, and in reply to 501 Dank because I feel like it, most people with the quarter million get really really high offers, therefore they deal. Plenty of people have actually gotten the quarter million.
@Busher50 it's probably because most people 'deal' when they get close with 250k still there, and they don't wanna take a risk. but when the 1p is still there, people carry on thinking they'll win more. It would be interesting to see how many people actually had the 250k but didn't win it.
@LottieSingCutie I once got a reply off that guy (I'd posted some rumour about him that was in the papers) and believe me - with his attitude, he didn't even deserve to win that 1 pence. A truly nasty individual whose ego got taken down a peg, for millions to see. Maybe he's changed now - it was 4 years ago, but he replied to me in such a way to make me think that if I met him face to face, he would mean physical violence.
Even though I'm Australian, I follow this show all the time. xD Though 46 people win a penny, while 5 people win a quarter of a million pounds. And none of them are males. Meh, I'd be like Nick Bain. I'd frame the cheque. xD
But they probably spent money to get to the studio etc, so they've obviously lost money, and could've won ALOT more money, so it's not better than nothing. :')
@kidewinks In other words, you have no proof that the game isnt fixed. The producers obviously know waht is in each box, because a lot of the time you can tell that they tell Noel to hype it up before they open the box. It's tv mate, dont be so naive and think that anything is unplanned or unexpected.
All you need to do is take the deal (or not) at the correct time, its not difficult to figure out a very very basic strategy & take home more than £100. They just seem profile contestants who believe in 'destiny', 'fate', 'lucky numbers or sequences' or 'my day' blah blah blah, - they all have no stop-loss. It just needs simple logic thrown at it for an easy win of more than £100.
justletmesigninokthx Actually I think taking the deal is always bad. It is a simple calculation of expected value. One should stay to the end as long as the offer is below the expected value unless that money is crucial to life. In that case some money can be "spent on insurance".
hungryhippo2 I think taking the deal is OK at the correct time, the EV of continuing is really bad for some contestants, but I'm no math person ! I just think its quite easy to go away with > 1p.
justletmesigninokthx It is actually possible to always walk away with more than 1 p, so I agree with that. But every time I have watched the show, the deal always gives less than the expected value. I have calculated it. I am a math person and would stay to the end, even if it means a chance of getting 1 p. Unless off course an offer would suddenly be better than EV, but I think they will not do that.
The old dude that celebrated the 1p is a legend
Nah hes irritating, he was clearly annoyed
Yh because that wasn't acting

Nick was the first ever 1p winner on Deal or No Deal
My grandads number 4😂😂😂
Noel should get a little confetti cannon and be like you won a shiny 1p coin

Thanks for Uploading this, I always like these Special's.. :D Cheer's..
awww those poor people, no pun intended
First comment :) , Thanks for uploading this. Wonder if we have a special for these members ?
Yes. You wouldn't want it wasted. This can buy a lot nowadays. Maybe a strand of thread, or a crumb or two.
isnt it interesting that you have same odds winning the 1p as you have winning the 250k yet it seems like so many people win the 1p. probably because people deal too soon so never get a chance!
Lol there's a total of 52 members in the 1p club
Devito D isnt there 51 including Ashley who just won it few shows ago.
Yeah, Ashley us the 52nd member of the 1p club
RIP Katie Walsh. She sadly passed away in 2018.
Shame, RIP
no 10 winner also won 15,000 in the Viewers' competition in May 2007
2p (or more) or not 2p (or more) that is the question of the 1p club
There is now 49 members in the 1p club. Martina joined today as the 49th member
I fo there won't going to be a member this year with box 23
Yeah but she bought box 23 with her 1p and it said money back
29 1p winners .... 2 quarter million winners ... say anything ?
Yes people tend to deal.when 250k is in play late because of the offers where as if the game is already gone you're likely to play untill the end
Why is it that more people have won 1p, than they have the £250,000? The word 'rigged' comes to mind when I think of it.
Because a lot of people deal and haven't the guts to go forward. The amount of people who haven't got it in them far outweighs those few who do go on
Ha ha ha it's so funny.
Just that look on there faces.
Ha ha ha.
Yeah oh im in the 1P club.....
Wheres NOTHING club video.....
Ha ha ha....
I enjoy watching it everyday it's a lovely game show.
I would love to join this club if i went on deal or no deal
Now it's time for TAXES!
game show taxes are 52.5% in UK, which to a penny is impossible to break into that, thus it will be rounded and the whole penny will be taken away as tax
Rick that means they win nothing.
Another member joined yesterday and he was Mash Mesh Making him the 45th member of this famous club
how many members now? I dont think theres been a 30th yet? has there?
It's always the nicest people who either get 1p or REALLY HIGH.
What date was the first member?
Sometime between 26 December 2005 - 1 February 2006
Dylan Boora05 it was 03/01/2006

There are now 38 members of the 1p club.
I would be soooooo gutted!!
@Busher50
Pretty simple really. If I had say 1p and a blue left I would NO DEAL, and if it is the 1p I go with dignity
They are still 1p richer than when they walked into the dream factory
@Busher50 it's probably because most people 'deal' when they get close with 250k still there, and they don't wanna take a risk. but when the 1p is still there, people carry on thinking they'll win more. It would be interesting to see how many people actually had the 250k but didn't win it.
I'm like, wayyyy too dramatic and sad #16
When you open your bank account the day after a 2 night bender off your face 2:21
the 16th one is the funnist
there was nearly a 45th this week but he swapped his box and took he penny off the table for £100 i think
these 1p members must live in shame, how humiliating is it to win 1p on tv.
it's now 44 members
LMFAO !!! Good Video thanks!.. thumbs up
ROCKS I MEAN
number 26 - WHAT A CLOWN!!!!!!
1p is better than nothing xx
£250,000 and 1p for Corrine box 19 and box 20
It's amazing how 29 win the 1p and only 3 win 250k. it's hard to understand.
Most people with a good board will take high banker offers cos it's guaranteed money
Apparently they actually get a cheque for 1p...
A male just won the jackpot right this second
Would you actually collect it though?
a male recently won 250k
I think he should give them the penny there and then.... and they should have some kind of 'walk of shame'
how do i join?

@Busher50 Make that 35 and 2, respectively.
Did you even watch the video @cx1735
Seriously? You have a 1p or the 250k and you don't take the offer beforehand...
45 now! lol
no they give them a cheque

@kidewinks Get a job.

Well unfortunately we have made it to 30 members now. Anyone watching recently saw that De to just became the 30th member of the 1p club.
Trevor, from 2006, later went on to commit suicide by slashing his wrists with a sharpened penny. Feel bad Noel?
I feel very sorry for all of these people unlike you lot who just make nasty comments.
Aw boo hoo
What made me laugh was how seriously they took this game.
What is the music that starts playing at 1:50?
Game of pure luck, what do the contestants expect.
