It was mediocre, even as a child when I first played it on the Dreamcast I felt massively underwhelmed. The gameplay and physics were okay, but the level design, Amy plus Big's levels were just ass.
thanks for making the videos, immaculate vibes, i literally bought the game because of them haha. what settings are you using for the movement plus mod? ive fiddled with the config but the wording on some of the settings confuses me and all ive succeeded in doing is making my boosts really strong. I wanna slide around like you.
The super sliding only works in certain area, this stage specifically is just covered in area that let you do that haha. Personally though I like to slow down the top speed a lot in movementplus, so I set the max speed to 0 instead of -1 and reduced a lot of the values that are 45 or higher to 35

I just realized how great Sonic games would be if they updated the style of their soundtrack. A funk style really suits the vibe
never been a fan of sonic but its wild to me they insist on rock music when dnb and hiphop just fits way better imo
There's been all types of music in sonic games and a good majority have been funk especially the DS and GBA titles so idk what your talking about
