I believe you can instruct extra frontman to stay behind.
regarding the 3-5-2: you definitely need "wing back" activated most of the time when playing this GPmod on legend. ;)

if you are gonna use 3-5-2, activate the "wing back" advanced tactic. this way, your wingbacks will trackback and cover the wide spaces. also, you can instruct your extra frontmen to stay back using "defensive" advanced tactic. May i suggest using "false fullbacks" advanced tactic? this will make your fullbacks invert to midfield, which could cover your middle more. it also gives you more midfield options, helping you retain possession, and permits your CMFs to advance more forward. grimaldo is great at this in real life with bayer leverkusen.

Also, I think you should try to play a few matches without DD. It seems to me that it affects the gameplay a lot and not in a good way. I find the CPU to be much more creative without it. A couple of other users confirmed it earlier, and now from your video I would say that I can confirm it myself.

@@theronaldo974 via DD he meant Dynamic Difficulty, and this mod is definitely good, sort of brings creativity outta that AI CPU. The Difference is better smoothness, less forced randomness rather more natural, and too many physical unnecessary collisions have been reduced, Another Mod I suggest here is the [ Dream Soccer Ultimate V3 Special Edition ], Both are quite good the latter is a bit tougher to me + the latter one offers more build-up play. Try both, very easy to install and boom
Startet PES 19 the other day and it feels so good still after all these years, that makes it only more sad that they stopped it

The Brentford's game was so entertaining lol. The passes that led to Mainoo hitting the post were amazing. Wished the strike ended up at the back of the net 😅
Hello, mate. I think I like the new mod, surely adds a flavour. Though only time can say the final tally. Two tips. One, with Luton you played counter with a high line, and you saw it was a disaster. You should have played low line with counter, give them space to advance and strike them in the open spaces. Second, try to recognise what the opponent will play. You did it with Brentford and you got the win. And a hidden one: if you play continuously the same formation, the AI recognises it and adapts. This is the same in all of PES series, so it is also present in Football Life. Try to change formations every now and then, or some features to confuse the AI, I think you will have some good results. And I feel that the second season will be better. Have a nice time.

Considering that you're playing on legend, the removal of dynamic difficulty might do more harm. My guess is that the dynamic difficulty system favoured you because generally the league performance was not great. Maybe consider lowering the difficulty to just below Legendary (i forgot which is is, top player?). It's not that your gameplay is bad, far from that, it's just not coherent to see that Luton Town and Brentford playing Barcelona level midfield, where you can't even touch the ball.

4:30 soo true 😭 when players are dribbling, it looks like they are sliding across the field
here's my idea for the tactics:
- wing rotation as the base advance tactic. 3 at the back should use Wing Back and Deep Defensive Line for 4 at the back.
- Front Lines Pressure with Conservative (works well for hole players and box to box players imo), a slightly more Compact Positioning and a Mid to High Line.
- make Rashford (or any winger) a roaming flank

Most people I dont think know this but there is a marking section in the tactics screen where you can assign your defenders to their attacking players to mark them and it actually works, but you have to be careful because if you set your defender to mark a Shadow Striker, he will get pulled out of position.
The mod is insane, i wonder what's gonna happen the next two games.
Luton town going full Barca. I'm loving Football Life 2024, but I wish there was more variability in how well the AI could pass it around. Like if there was an option for each team to choose 3 training modules, like first touch triangles or give & go's on the wing, which would then boost those stats for your whole team. That way a team that trained for first touch passes a lot could pass it around comfortably, but first touch passing wouldn't be as reliable for a team that trained more for headers and second ball recoveries.
Use the league as practice/experimentation, UEFA champions league win is the only way to get this team into the competition next season, top 4 is not happening bruh. But the squad looks good tho

if you like playing on the wing so much try to use 442 flat formation and use Hug the sideline and wing rotation advance tactics

Hey bro, well done handling this difficulty/mod 👏 not for me though especially at legend level if it boosts all AI players stats to 99 as you say. Can I ask when is the last time you played this without huge gameplay mods? Reason I ask is that the mods in combination with team spirit makes master league very tedious imo. I recently just went back to standard vanilla dt18 pk and it was so much better than the mods for master league. I then found the dt18 which removes team spirit and allows MS games to play as the game engine allows in normal kick off games...its an amazing game when you get rid of team spirit and allows you to change tactics game on game. Great variety in game play, some games stalemate, others end to end, but most importantly, all players, whether my own or AI, play to their stats and it becomes a very fair and enjoyable game.
