What i like about pes is that there’s more customisation, you’re not stuck with whatever the game gives, it gives you some sense of freedom which is a breath of fresh air

@real madrid beg to differ, FUT is all that FIFA has going for them, but in terms of career mode, PES takes the prize. FIFA is simply more popular but PES is, i'd say a better game, they simply get shit from their previous years so people ignore them, meanwhile FIFA is struggling to keep up the success from their previous years, all they are focusing on is Graphics, but the gameplay is honestly disappointing.

I know on the Xbox you can edit kits, names etc for lack of option files.
I really want PES to keep up this pace. They're breathing down the neck of FIFA. The graphics & game play are already A1. They just need to fix up the presentation (officially), AND IT'LL BE A WRAP.

Pes with Mods is a gift from the heavens currently playing in the 2006 2007 epl and la liga seasons ridiculous amounts of fun . Really glad I don't play fifa anymore but just watching rage reaction video's for a good laugh .
Oh, that’s great man. I always was a dedicated fifa player. Since fifa 99. However, around 2018 I was sick of playing the same fifa every year, so I switched to PES. Best decision I made. It’s so much fun never scoring the same goal in every single game. I buy Fifa every year, just to give it a shot. I honestly stop playing fifa within an hour and go back to PES. Gameplay wise PES is just lightyears away from fifa.
@@ct0332 ya I can't take Fifa serious after playing pes , i played 2020 seriously with mods and enjoyed it and actually felt that earned my goals . I just had to get rid of my horrible Fifa tendencies of playing ping pong football and actually had to use my football brain a little .

When I played PES 2011 for the first time, it's hard to me. Then, I try to play fifa so I learnt how to score and mastered it. Then, I came back to PES and it's easier to me now.

I started with FIFA 96 through to FIFA 2007 but immediately i started playing PES 2 along the line, i switched to it.. And trust me.. PES game play is way better than FIFA...

Are you referring to controlled/finesse shooting ? Please explain I'm new to PES. I just started the game and the controlled shots are so satisfying just love it.
Been playing fifa since 2014 and I just got sick and tired of the arcady style of the game, more than enjoyment fifa seriously gave me a lot of headache so in 2021 I decided to try pes for the first time, and spent 2 weeks learning how to play the game but now I absolutely love the game, being a Barcelona fan and emulating trying to play like Barcelona is so much fun on pes.

PES does have a certain learning curve to it. The more you play the better you will get at it. Took me a while to get used to it myself. Really good video from a long time PES fan.

That’s the really good thing with PES, it looks like a real football game judging from the human-like movements and plays
And consider that PES 2022 will have a much more realistic graphic engine. Next year PES will show FIFA what a real football game is.

For starters FIFA blows PES out of the water online play. online play is the future and the most popular modes in any football game. until PES gets better online.. it will never top FIFA.. but once it does it will

The physical aspect of the game is one thing that I'll always try to express how much PES gets it right. To anyone that has played actuall football you'll fell it when playing PES. So guys that play only FIFA and feel that the game doesn't actually feel like playing football, I'd suggest giving PES a try. 2021 is really good and cheap rn

problem is , when the gameplay of fifa is so unrealistic and the ai is garbage, it doesnt really matter how deep the career mode features are.
@@Kirk690_0 PES isn't free of faults either mate, that's for sure. Unfortunately constant player collisions, ridiculous refereeing decisions, inability to select the player you want etc., make online gameplay frustrating. Whilst learning to play on manual has breathed some life for me personally offline in Master League, the mode itself is outdated and has gone backwards since the original Pro Evo releases decades ago.
Both developers only care about the additional money raised from their online team modes and have long ignored their offline fan bases. For example Rockstar - whilst admittedly also being money grabbers - at least provided a single player game mode to be proud off in RDR2.
EA and Konami don't give a damn and unfortunately there simply isn't another football game out there to challenge them. 😐
@@daveguevaragaming6045 Yeah fully agree with you there mate, iv not really been into online play since fifa 18, and pes is just annoying with players going 1-0 up early then just passing across the back 4 for 80minutes. iv not played too much of the newest datapack for pes2021 yet but it seems a little bit less ridiculous with the amount of fouls but its still not right. the thing with pes i dont undestand, is that they are so close to having a real chace of stealing the peopel who have been hardcore fifa fans for decades(myself included until 2018, iv been playting fifa since fifa 96) , yet some things are so cheap and crappy looking while being stupidly easy to rectify. with the cut scenes and presentation ect. they are always going to be limited with the licences, unless you are on pc like me, but just improving the presesntation and making sure the wording of things is right, its like they didnt get anyone to check the translation from japanese to english. silly things like that.

I'm the opposite having grown up with Pro Evo but I remember there was a point I gave up on PES because it had gone down the drain and switched to FIFA - think it was FIFA 10/11 - and really enjoyed the Career Mode and wondered why the hell PES couldn't offer the same. Few years later switched back to PES when the game started getting better reviews and so far have remained on the other side.
Is the Career Mode any good this year with FIFA? Asking because the Champion Edition has 70% off in the PlayStation store and I'm tempted...🤔
@@daveguevaragaming6045 similar here pal, always played fifa bit played pro evo on the snes an through ps 1-2, but then switched back to fifa from about 09ish but refund pes19. I can't play this years fifa, I honestly think its awefull lol. Its OK for playing your mates at a party or online, but I just can't play it solo or ultimate team. Since I switched to pc for pes last year an found all the amazing mods I'm all in again. I dont think they would have to add much to it to make the master league great, just the small touches that fifa does well. I'm talking in terms of presentation an career features as I'm running all the graphics mods anyway.

Agreed. I switched when it was Pes 2 😂 but along the way I did go back to Fifa - around 2007 when Pes was made from scratch for release on the Ps3. It was trash! Went back to Pes 2014 and really missed everything it had, that fifa didn’t. FIFA is good in small doses but soon gets boring. Pes is the opposite - the more you play, the more addictive it gets 👌

Bubble gum football except the skills, fifa is NOTHING ... all the players run in the same way ... No differences between the players in gameplay except the skills.. Some terrible bugs as example sometimes the players slip in the air lol ... The conditions of the pitch and weather it is only for look ... The players keep their same ratings no matter where you put them on the pitch, as example put Ronaldo as keeper and he keeps his same rating lol... Front tackle is bad realised and as it happens... Sometimes the players have weird reactions without any logic, as example my defender run away from the opponent, or he simply stop for a second, even if i press correctly... Not too much build up play middle battles, but counter attacks after every couple of seconds like on basketball lol ... Ping pong football, no building from the back.. No slowing down the game.. No middlefield battle... Just end to end stuff .. Watch all the scores from on fut champions live 8-5 7-3 lol what an unrealistic childish game with whistles and bells, Canadians and real football simulator, Eskimo and Africa lol ... @@tutu2518 if you want to play slower and more fluid, choose long grass rainy or snowy weather... If you want a little bit faster then choose short dry grass... I prefer the first option much more.... Pkus BEFORE EVERY MATCH, check on the gameplan those 5 different conditions of the players ARROWS, it is important! I moved from FIFA to PES. There are a lot of issues with this game, but it’s much better than FIFA. Just get an option file and licensing is not an issue anymore. Great video
