    We tackled assembling the bike as a family project. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzg0clhbtRf2gGxPkVETFKJJKGqdsorQu The package is heavy, but I have 2 teen boys that were able to move it. The written instructions were great- we didn't need to watch the videos, but it was good knowing that the option was there if we needed it. After we were able to get it set up, the boys each rode 3 miles and I rode 8 and the bike stayed quiet. The display is easy to reset, and you can put it on whichever setting you are using (time, distance, calories, etc). I will say that my butt is a little sore from the seat, but that could be because I haven't rode in a while. While it is comfortable for me, it was not comfortable with the seat position for my friend (could not move the seat back far enough and he slightly looked like a kid riding a tricycle that he had outgrown). He also said that the seat hurt his manly parts. We are going to look for a different seat that will be compatible with this bike for him.I did purchase the Wahoo Cadence sensor and strapped it to the crank of one of the pedals. This will sync with my Apple Watch, iPhone and will import data in to my Health app. Wahoo does have other sensors available other than cadence. I can also keep either my phone or my iPad on the display and they both feel pretty secure.

    Sooo glad I found this !! After a back surgery, I was not able to recover fully, to be honest- surgery did nothing to alleviate the pain😫, but I am not ready to give up on fitness or weight bearing exercises… I will modify to fit my level and grow!!

    I’m short on time most days and have been looking for ways to exercise upper and lower body at the same time. This is a great workout and I was dripping with sweat by the end - loved it!

    Thankful to find this video. I'm a semi serious cyclist but have osteoporosis in my wrists. Great to find a way to do arm/wrist exercises and
    bike. I love that you get breaks from just "sitting" on the seat and doing weights. I need to get out of the seat and push too 😊

    Thank you so much for these. I'm recovering after a knee microfracture scope and without resistance on the bik I felt like I'm doing nothing. Adding the upper body definitely gets my heart rate up to my running rates

      Hi Patty! Since everyone's metabolism is different, the best way to estimate your calories burned is to use the metabolic equivalent equation. We estimate that the MET value of your workout will be between 6-8. Using this value you can use the following equation to determine your estimated calories burned. Total calories burned = Duration (in minutes)*(MET*3.5*weight in kg)/200. For real-time calorie tracking, you could use an activity tracker like our Smart Fit Watch.

    There is so much information regarding NOT doing weights while you are on an exercise bike. Does this really help lose weight and get stronger?

      Plenty of exercise bikes hold weight carriers in them! There's people who also use under desk treadmills to walk and work their office jobs! It's all preference. You'll mainly tone and lose weight more than gain strength doing this, but it still helps with some strength.

    I dislocated my arm 2 weeks ago (10/31/21). Feels pretty good already but I shouldn't do anything with serious weight for awhile. Got out of the sling after 4 days and back to work on day 5 as a server/bartender. Have a good 80%+ range of motion. No real pain but I can tell I shouldn't push it. I was thinking a routine like this could help me stay on my path. I'm considering buying some 2.5 and 5lb weights and a used spin bike of market place to help me out over the next 3-6 months. Anyone ever been in my shoes or have any advice?

      With the recovery process we recommend aiming for a set range of controlled reps like 10-15 per exercise, and this routine is based off time, so keep that in mind and adjust it to your needs. Be mindful of any shoulder movements you may not be ready for incorporated into this routine, and work up to them if needed. Be sure to stop if you feel any pain. We recommend consulting your doctor prior to exercise.

      Thought i would just do what i could of this video. Got almost 7 mins in...for now. Am sweating. Brought my seat up in the front a little, but still can't seem to sit straight up and pedal without feeling like i'm going to fall forward. Wonder if it may be a balance issue?? Pushed the seat back one slot to see if that helps some...will know in a couple of days.

    Like how you guys upped the price of the SF-B1805 by nearly $200 after the 1rst of the year. I put it on my Amazon wish list December 31rst and was going to buy it the next day. Noticed the price hike so you guys can scam the people trying to set new years resolutions. If the price don't go back where it's supposed to be I'm gonna go somewhere else with my money. The bike should be $599 and you know it!

You put a $599 bike in the price bracket of the Rogue Echo Bike and not far off the Concept2 Bike Erg which both are way better buys. You guys are just trying to cash in for a quick buck not even realizing how many potential customers you just pissed off. Just go read the comments of your bike reviews or in some exercise bike forums.

      30 minutes of the exercise bike can burn 200-400 calories depending on intensity/BPM
