I got so much good sleep on it during the whole school year. It was very cushioned, but I love that! I got the 3 inch, and it was perfect! I highly recommend it.
I’m buying a lucid 4 inch charcoal topper for my nectar mattress. I just bought the nectar mattress and the first few nights were wonderful but now it’s slightly too firm. I am about 85% a side sleeper and 15% a back sleeper and the nectar is awesome on my back but not as great for sleeping on my sides lol. I can’t wait till I get it in the mail. The heat for the topper isn’t an issue for me bc I use sheets and then in addition to the sheets I sleep on top of a blanket or two always been a habit of mine lol

These are lightweight memory foam toppers. I believe their density is 3lb. They're just a step up from cheap foam egg crates. You can tell because they compress very quickly. Not as quickly as a cheap foam egg-crate but a higher density memory foam mattress will give you better support. If spending as little as possible is your main goal then these cheaper mattresses should work for you.

The topper in the link took us about 12 hours to fully inflate. We slept on it that night but it was still inflating for 24 hours. I hope that help Mike. we have reviewed another mattress topper as well that was great with a cover which I would recommend.
I bought one of those at Walmart. It fried me at night. Incredibly hot. I returned it to Walmart for a refund in a huge roll 4 feet wide by 2 feet high. it was embarrassing cuz everyone was staring at me but I got my money back.
Just found this for sixty dollars in a queen in the box at our local big deal warehouse my son loves it so comfortable over the latex topper it came with the cover it was the two inch lucid
It's been good but I ordered a full for a full and it's a bit smaller. I should have ordered queen for a full size and they were the same price , so I messed up. But it's good. Happy with it.
i have the twin lavender scented one, but i have no idea if it comes in twin xl. it's pretty cheap now, so i'd say give it a go? they last a very long time too, i've had mine almost a year now. sorry if i rambled, have a nice day!!

You mentioned all the little gel beads that are in the topper. What does the gel do? I've had my Nectar bed for almost one year and it seems that my bed is now softening up. Yes the problem with foam it seems that over time is softens up. After a few years we love ours still but I bet it would be too soft in a few more years...I would try their topper first but it might not help much longer. They will probably just end up replacing your bed with a new one i bet. The gel is supposed to keep you cool but it mostly doesn't do anything.
Just purchased a Casper mattress from Costco yesterday. It’s too firm. I’d like to keep the mattress mainly bc of Costco’s phenomenal return policy. Looking into softening the bed up. Any difference between a 2” or 3”? What would you recommend? Thanks
Hey Zach, I think the 2' would be great! I heard that bed is firm. But if you return it then you can get a Nectar like the one i have reviewed and it might be better for you. The zinus toppers are okay but the trap heat. The link in my description you can see them and how many different types they have now. They are becoming cheaper !
James Patton we returned and got our $877 back the following day. Bought a 10” Wayfair king from Wayfair. 24000 reviews on this mattress and most are good. Feels more plush than the Casper and less than half the cost. Just waiting for it to expand to its size. Should try it out tonight and we will still consider a topper in case this mattress does not work out.

For those wanting a soft plush topper this is NOT the topper for you. It is very firm and you slowly sink down into a hole . Only the center of your body sinks in. I sent mine back!

this combo doesn't stay cool because it is too soft. However, I think if you had a firmer mattress it would not be terrible. The softer the foam the more heat it traps.

Yes have you seen our topper video comparison? I think most toppers are kind of garbage since they are just cheap foam most of the time. I love the Puffy topper though.
So I've seen 3 of your vids, that involve 1 the lucid mattress topper, on top of a nectar mattress which is a month old vid. Then on July this year saw you have a ghost bed mattress. So my question is did you prefer nectar over ghostbed? I own a ghostbed mattress and found it to be way too firm but called in to complaint and they sent me a nature sleep topper and yeah that helped a little but feel it's not dense enough it's more like a piece of extra foam. I'm really considering this topper. Or getting a nectar but don't want to spend the extra cash and have another mattress laying around 😒
great question. The lucid topper is our second topper review. The first one is a hofish topper. They are basically the same thing. The ghostbed was slightly firmer than the nectar. I would just return the ghostbed since it has a great return policy and buy a nectar and try that out. The topper is going to feel like too much foam I think on a all foam mattress. I would shop around in my description. We also recommend a mattress pad which is soft but not too swishy for a foam bed.
I have a Nectar and it's been 5 months and it's too firm in my opinion. I am 5'9" and 130lbs so most mattresses feel firm to me. I developed major should pain after sleeping on this Nectar mattress and was finally fed up. So last week I emailed the company to return it and the sales rep offered me a 2" soft topper to try for free and it's being delivered today (according to FedEx tracking). I'll come back and tell you how it feels once I give it a week.

Great question Mark! This will make you sleep hotter. Any foam will hug you more and trap in heat. The firmer the bed the cooler you will sleep because of less surface area I have noticed. The coolest sleeping mattress we have tried its the Muse. Have you seen our review of that? we love our hybrid beds too for sleeping cool.

i am not sure but I am a similar bed. You should be able to simply make it softer. I would suggest maybe a thin topper like in our description. I am reviewing more beds. Maybe two twin sizes for each side of the sleep number.
Hey guys, I need some advice. I bought a platform frame (12 inch) off the ground. In have an 8 inch memory foam thick mattress from Spa Sensations (Walmart). The platform frame has metal slats and has made the mattress slightly firm. It is also kind of low off the ground. Which mattress topper would you recommend? Thanks
hey Matt most of our toppers are similar. I just reviewed another one called the Recci which we did a video on and the Linenspa 2inch topper which is the same as a Lucid but a little smaller. AM2PM Well I like it! It’s missing some transitions here and there and a few features but for the most part it does what I need it to do for my channel being small for now. Lol but I’m almost to 1k so in the future I may upgrade software!

yeah they are not the perfect solution like we said but if you are on a tight budget they can help you for a little while longer. I would say just buy a nectar bed for around 700 and be happy but some can't afford that during these times. These work great for a firm bed that you want softer but they won't make your foam bed nicer.
I have this, but it’s the 4 inch Lucid queen and 4 inches of it is horrible! I hate it, it dips in so much, rather than hug your body, it stays firm on the outter edges of the bed and dips in like a U shape around the area you are laying. It’s entirely too soft, might as well sleep in quick sand!
We now recommend the ones with the covers on them like the Recci. I think they all feel pretty much the same but if it has a protector i would get it since it will last longer. The more foam in the topper the softer it will be.
Terrible review. "For an older mattress"? Really, that's your review?? A memory foam topper on a soft foam-like mattress, hmmmm...look at 4:01 and see how far you are sinking into your Nector, but one doesn't need to have a "older" mattress to use this, only one firmer than your squishy one. Plz...try harder.

I don't know the difference. I haven't tried that one. I bet one is firmer.
One is lavender. As in lavender oil infused, it explains on the website. The other has the gel beads. They are the same other than that.

AM2PM Well I like it! It’s missing some transitions here and there and a few features but for the most part it does what I need it to do for my channel being small for now. Lol but I’m almost to 1k so in the future I may upgrade software!

Thanks but review didnt help. Can clearly see your bed is very soft and sinks in on it's own. Now if someone had a very firm bed. I'd imagine that topper will be nice
yeah they are not the perfect solution like we said but if you are on a tight budget they can help you for a little while longer. I would say just buy a nectar bed for around 700 and be happy but some can't afford that during these times. These work great for a firm bed that you want softer but they won't make your foam bed nicer.
What about if its for a newer mattress that it just too hard?
that should work! Have you seen my 2inch linenspa review? Its just like this but a little thinner. Just know that it will sleep warmer.
Mine kept moving and the holes ended up tearing and now the topper is ripped- so bummed

no well. Any soft foam will trap heat.
I have this, but it’s the 4 inch Lucid queen and 4 inches of it is horrible! I hate it, it dips in so much, rather than hug your body, it stays firm on the outter edges of the bed and dips in like a U shape around the area you are laying. It’s entirely too soft, might as well sleep in quick sand!
yeah that is why i recommend a firmer one like the puffy we have reviewed. We also prefer the ones with covers since they will last longer.

I got the 4 inch. I regret it. Suffering a lot of back pain. Suggest everyone to go no thicker than 2 inches.
yeah we like the 2inch models and the covered ones from Puffy and Recci more.

Mth it’s cooling foam but most foam still holds heat. It will be better than others.

We now recommend the ones with the covers on them like the Recci. I think they all feel pretty much the same but if it has a protector i would get it since it will last longer. The more foam in the topper the softer it will be.

yes it does. It is very soft so it absorbs a lot of movement.

it doesn't keep you cool since it traps heat like all foam. I the bits of gel is not really when you put sheets on.

I basically is a program that makes sure they are not using any harsh or harmful chemicals in the foam that we would be breathing.

Terrible review. "For an older mattress"? Really, that's your review?? A memory foam topper on a soft foam-like mattress, hmmmm...look at 4:01 and see how far you are sinking into your Nector, but one doesn't need to have a "older" mattress to use this, only one firmer than your squishy one. Plz...try harder.
