I remember watching celtics striker Henrik Larsson in the ueafa cup when I was 4 on the TV he was Celtics best striker hands down and he was the spls zlatan ibrahimovic wish Celtic had world class players like Martin o Neils celtic. now Celtic can't get past the knockout stages in the champions league and in the Europa league btw I'm a Celtic supporter and Larsson is our god in Scottish football. I wish there was a statue of Larsson outside parkhead and back in those days rangers had also world class players and rangers counterattacking back in the day was a severe threat to Celtics defence and the old firm derbys used to be very entertaining to watch and I looked forward to watching the old firm derbys nowadays Celtic domanance in the spl is slipping away because of fatigue and injuries of Europe and back in the day Martin o Neils celtic squad had better physicality and strong backup players as well incase of injuries and fatigue

It's difficult to rank those three players but considering everthing they brought to the game in terms of skill, work rate, team play and sheer professionalism I'd put Larsson ahead by a whisker. I think it is because what Henrik Larsson did in Holland and Scotland (yes both La Liga and PL aswell, but not on the same level) Zlatan did in Holland, Italy, Spain, France and in the Champions League, so Henrik has gotten a but forgotten. At the time sweden had players like Thomas Brolin in Parma, and later on Fredrik Ljungberg in Arsenal and Kim Källström in a very good Lyon side aswell. Adding to that, 1995-2000 (good years for Henrik) were very bad for the Swedish international team, so we don't really care to remember those years. A bit unfair though, because Henrik was a great footballer.

And let's not argue whether he was past his best or not, the fact is he adored his short time @ United and United adored having him. He was blown away how well he was treated by everyone @ United and he was so happy to be in that squad. He actually says himself that Ronaldo was out of this world in training and to play with and he was stunned how good Giggs, Scholes, Rooney, Carrick etc actually were. As a Rangers fan i have no problem in saying i loved watching him play. A true world class player in the making and well done Celtic for unlocking that potential at the time.

I'm a hearts fan and henrik is the greatest striker and foreign player to play in Scotland he's up there with Laudrup.
a True Footballing Legend...a gentleman and a top professional in everyway. Deserves every bit of praise he gets.
He truly is. Never read or hear a bad word about larsson anywhere. One of the best players in world at his peak and yet the most grounded bloke ever!
His intelligence and timing made so many of his goals look so easy.
And that injury he had. Would’ve ended most careers.
