That's Ubisoft for you... Good looking games with good graphics and a story that could be great. But with a total lack of polish and it just feels that it's made without passion lol. Look at Red dead Redemption 2 for example, now that's a real next gen AAA game, it may not be for everyone but we can't argue with the fact that it's polished and finished to near perfection and it shows.

Man 90% of these were in origins as well. You should look further. If you cleared out a bandit/soldier camp and come back later. They don't respawn and crows will be flying around the camp and be eating of bodies. Unless you die. Or fast travel then they respawn. Choices in side quests have consequences to events or can even be mentioned in main quests. Like the side quest of phoibe at start of game to save her friend from some spreading disease. But apart from that nothing new has been added to the game. The combat was a lot more fun in origins with additional combo's if u held down bumper or trigger. I kinda miss a shield as well since every spartan was trained with phalanxes and shields. Dont get me wrong its a good game but hopefully next installment will ad new stuff instead of the 4 skill use in combat. Origins had so more to offer combat wise and was more versatile than the combat now
Oohh cmon! For the 132 time! Kassandra and Alexio are not spartans!! They come from Sparte, indeed, but they they haven't been raised in Sparte. They are mercenary!
2 random little details i haven't seen on these videos yet. 1. Dogs will chase flocks of birds and scare them off. 2. If you take an Athenean warriors body and throw it in front of a spartan (not in a restricted area) they will cheer for you... not sure if it works the other way around but i imagine it does.
They took the torch walk and field walk (where he brushes his hand through the hay) DIRECTLY from Bayek in AC Origins. Just pull out a torch, you'll notice a change in Alexios's walk. It becomes Bayek's walk. Still, Origins clone as it is, they did add some cool shit and the spartan kick is probably the best attack in any game, ever
Ok I just wanna get something off my chest. First off I've seen a lot of comments saying how this was rushed and copied origins. They were developed alongside each other and so are very similar. They released origins first in order to work on Odyssey.Secondly it's quite annoying too see people talk about RDR2. I am thoroughly enjoying that game but it has nothing to do with this video or game. Thank you for your time:-)
In one of the present day sequences, the game alludes to the Japanese assassins. I hope this means we’ll finally be getting samurai/ninja assassin’s creed. Maybe even next, since Ubisoft might be taking another year off
Yes, AC need to step away from US and Europe Culture. Origins feel so good because its explore Egypt, which is not similar with italy in AC2, paris in ACV and London in ACVI. We need feudal japan or Chinese Three or five kingdoms era or even Mongolian invasion in asia, or maybe in ancient thai, indian, melayu themed culture. Which is never truly potrayed by modern games...
It is a reference to the comics. In I think it is AC Uprising that there is a former Yakuza enforcer turned assassin the main protagonist works with. He also talks about his Japanese Assassin cell getting info for them.
@@overlydecent it may not be japan but china. Ubi apparently said they are interested in the idea of exploring an AC game after the next one set in china. Makes sense since players want a Japanese game but Ubi wants to make moves into the Asian mainly chinese market. Also more Japanese ninja samurai games are coming out. Ubi could have seen this coming and are going to make gamers look more at their game set in Asian setting cause it is not in japan but another beautiful and historically rich Asian country. Also marital arts was birthed there and ac would fit that bill. Stealth is a no brainers and if they could pull out flashy but stylish combat kind of like what gunkata is then I'd say it will be another hit. I love Ubi and love AC. I can't wait
Civs fighting back is annoying, because if you try and assist them from attacks by animals they just get in the way and then attack you if you accidentally hit them. They also attack you, if you're attacked by a mercenary and the mercenary hits them, they immediately now attack you. They just get in the way and I wish they would react like in origins. Also, alot of these "amazing little details" should really be expected in a game like this... 40+ hours so far though and I'm enjoying the ride.
Big Daddy Maca Those quests where we have to kill a bunch of bandits to protect someone are the most annoying.
