The requirements, time, and immense patience it took to get out here was exhausting, but it made me tear up a little bit when you were talking about trusting God And giving it up to him. I did the same thing when I had a problem with my passport. I didn’t think it was going to work out in the time line that was needed, but it did. Please make more videos!! It encourages me to do the same and document my experience here in Korea. It was really fun watching this just right after I went through this exact same thing myself. Students who will get you as a teacher in Korea are the lucky ones. Believe in yourself and you will do just fine. I have friends who did that 1 year teaching job and they all loved it. I know pay isn’t exactly great. But they all say it was worth it and blessing. All of them now lead a very nice life back in the states. Good luck and Godspeed! Packing tip. Lay everything flat, you’ll have so much more space!! And stuff socks around the edges, so if u got smth fragile, it’ll be protected by an extra buffer. And shoes always in the corners, and stuff things into the shoes aswell , saves space!

It's my dream to teach English in Korea, so I started studying a little over six months ago. I am 15 right now, and I'm hoping by the time I've been through the rest of secondary school and university, I'll be fluent enough to really live there. Watching these videos is really sentimental for me, because seeing someone achieve my life's dream shows me that it isn't just a child's dream that will never come true, it is a real possibility and it is something I can do if I work hard.

I just found your channel! I love your personality, so I subscribed! (I actually think I watched some of your Korea vlogs back in the day!) I studied abroad in Korea during 2019. I knew I wanted to go back ever since then. It has been delayed because I transferred schools. Korea really opened my mind because I really didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. So when I came back home I decided to take a year off school to sort it out and transfer. I'm studying linguistics as my major now with a minor in Korean language. I hope to go back to teach one day! I look forward to more videos!

I’m getting ready to start my first year in college and doing this after I graduate is my dream. I wanted to go to Korea for school, but it just didn’t work out the way I hoped it would, but I think it’s giving me the time to mature and actually plan everything out. I flew to Korea July 31st. And arrived August 1st and quarantined until August 15th (independence day we were free!!!!!) yes I know I quarantined 2 weeks to be there for 17 days but it was the best thing in the world! I hope to go back maybe may or so 2022? But my goal for 5 years was to visit Korea but my big goal now is to move there and start out as a english teacher to get started there and live there for a while at least.

I am 15 right now, and I'm hoping by the time I've been through the rest of secondary school and university, I'll be fluent enough to really live there. Watching these videos is really sentimental for me, because seeing someone achieve my life's dream shows me that it isn't just a child's dream that will never come true, it is a real possibility and it is something I can do if I work hard.

I just found your channel! I love your personality, so I subscribed! (I actually think I watched some of your Korea vlogs back in the day!) I studied abroad in Korea during 2019. I knew I wanted to go back ever since then. It has been delayed because I transferred schools. Korea really opened my mind because I really didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. So when I came back home I decided to take a year off school to sort it out and transfer. I'm studying linguistics as my major now with a minor in Korean language. I hope to go back to teach one day! I look forward to more videos!

I’m getting ready to start my first year in college and doing this after I graduate is my dream. I wanted to go to Korea for school, but it just didn’t work out the way I hoped it would, but I think it’s giving me the time to mature and actually plan everything out. By the time I hope to get there, maybe COVID will be a thing of the past and life will have returned to normal. I went to Korea for a holiday a couple years ago - for only 2 weeks - and that alone was enough for me to realise that I wanted to move over 😭😭 but I have like.. no teaching experience and my degree is in commerce lmao so idk what job would secure me a place over there haha. I flew to Korea July 31st. And arrived August 1st and quarantined until August 15th (independence day we were free!!!!!) yes I know I quarantined 2 weeks to be there for 17 days but it was the best thing in the world! I hope to go back maybe may or so 2022? But my goal for 5 years was to visit Korea but my big goal now is to move there and start out as a english teacher to get started there and live there for a while at least.
