- Here's our renovated RV tour including renovated RV before and after pictures 🚌 We never planned on doing an old RV renovation but - after we bought a diesel pusher (a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder 39Z) on Craigslist for our American roadtrip - we decided it could use a little RV makeover :)
The RV renovations were a lot of work, but we were super happy with how they turned out! The RV reno really made our motorhome actually feel like "home" as full-time RVers on our United States roadtrip.
Sorry about the audio of this video - we're still learning :) But we watched a lot of RV renovation tips videos on TH-cam prior to starting our RV renovations and we hope this video can give you some RV remodel ideas for your motorhome remodel! Wow! Those before and after pictures show how much work and detail you both put into your living space. I am amazed at the attention to the smallest details that most people would look over as insignificant and you made those the focal points in your RV. So, happy to have found your site. I get excited, when I run across another RVer who understands the importance of customizing their home on wheels. Your use of white and attention to shade, is awesome. You’ve totally done away with that closed in, limited space look, that RVs are so famous for. It now looks clean and spacious. Just goes to show what a little paint can do. You’ve done a wonderful job with your entire renovation, especially the multi-purpose desk area.
Thank you for the Organize My Drawer reference. I removed four kitchen drawers, in my RV, and installed an oven. Drawer organizers will enable me to better utilize my remaining drawer space.

I can give you a little advice about your RV oven get a pizza stone and put it in there on top of the metal plate or you can use unglazed ceramic tiles and make sure that when you bake something you rotate it halfway through the time and you won't get any more burnt stuff also buy one of those little hanging oven temperature things because RV ovens are famous for being off
Any advice on where to buy the pizza stone that will fit? I'm assuming their oven is smaller than a regular oven, like the one in our truck camper.
Kimberly Noble Winslow well if you can't find a pizza stone that will fit the other best thing you can use is for UNGLAZED tiles.. I found the best way to get those is Menards or other home improvement store,they're like $0.44 apiece. If you're not sure you're getting the right size just compare them to a 13 by 9 inch pan. Which just barely fits into one of these ovens and make sure you put them right on top of the metal where the flame comes out from underneath.. and I don't know if you have two or three oven shelf adjustments but we put our stuff on the top rack for baked goods just make sure you eyeball it so if you're making bread or something you got enough room... and always always always preheat your oven I know like it seems like there's a waste of propane but it really isn't because the space is so small and definitely make sure you get an oven temperature gauge to put in there...
Also I'm not sure how old your model is but some of the thermostats are adjustable on these there are TH-cam videos to tell you how to do that...

I bought a toaster oven sized baking stone through Pampered Chef. Works great.

The RV looks great. I would wonder about the amount of weight you added to it.
I am very impressed with your renovations. You have given an outdated RV a fresh, modern look. I wish those who make comments would consider that people have different tastes and that if they don't like it, who cares, it is not their RV! It made me mad to read the few negative comments about the "sterile" white. Obviously, based on them being in a minority, they are still living in the past and don't realize that white is very fashionable and highly desirable. And, I'm glad you got sponsors while living the good life. You are a cute couple and I enjoyed the tour of your your renovated RV. I would suggest that you not play the music at the beginning and end quite as loud. Other than that, great video!

Great work ! You really maximized what you had to work with. I prefer contemporary styling over what I call the "antique look". When it comes to resale value you'll recoup all the expenses from your remodel. I hate the industry standard dinettes and love what you did with that space.

Nice reno! I’m anxious to update our 2012 Cougar 5th wheel. I’m a color-loving fiber artist and am having a really hard time living with the dated neutral color palette. Your choice of white and gray took years off your rig and makes it look like Home. Good job!

One suggestion I might make for your oven is to place a pizza stone or something else heavy that can hold a lot of heat on the bottom of the oven to distribute the heat more evenly to mitigate the problem with it tending to burn things.

GREAT JOB. I was wanting to have a tiny home built for $60K, but Dallas County where I live doesn't allow for them and there are a ton of other upfront expenses that they don't tell you about. I think this is a great option that will work for a few years.

should have had the cabinet doors open down instead of up and out, because you could store thing on the backside without them falling out .like paint w/ magnetized paint or Velcro baskets onto them for more storage. mag paint and metal cannisters, etc...for herbs and other stuff.
Wow! Great job looks really beautiful! My concern is the weight on it!...how heavy it must travel you have some pretty heavy pieces in your motorhome. The heavier it is the harder the Motor has to run just be careful you might want to lighten up on some of the furniture! I speak out of experience good luck and happy travels
