@@florinpop6845 Not really. Was replaced by the Corolla Saloon and Estate honestly. Camry is a really big car which the Avensis never was.

I really love this car. All this infotainment system a little bit confusing but... whatta car. 99K miles and no issues at all.
What's all that revving for when leaving from a standstill?? No need to rev up to 3k...
n47 leaves the spot smoothly (without lugging vibration or damaging the DMF in any way) by barely touching the gas pedal, so yeah...
Well, since he's driving a lot of various cars, he's probably not used to all of them, so he moved off with a gas not to stall it. Sometimes you just rev it too much accidentaly.

How long your car’s can drive?
I don't get the idea of having a Toyota with diesel engine. The best things that toyota makes are the naturally aspirated petrol engines and hybrids.

Yeah, i have the Avensis with 1.8l engine and it is simply incredible. It sounds great and accelerates also very well.
Not sure if I'm right, but it seems like there's a lot of plastic rattles, wind noise on the highway and engine seems to be loud, at least compared to other cars you drove. Is this the case in reality?

I have exactly the same avensis. The perfect car for long trips. With this engine is not suitable for the city. This diesel engine is from BMW.
Pity Toyota have moved away from diesel, here in Ireland diesel is massive seller even today

Nah, not really.. The new one goes 500.000 km with no problems at all.. Only Mercedes and Volvo build cars that can match Toyota.

Agree. He does that in all the cars he drives.. Just lift the f*cking clutch is has more than enough torque to pull it self..

japonskie samochody maja jeden i ten sam problem.....sa pierunsko glosne w srodku....nie wiem z czego to wynika, ale wyciszenie jest ponizej poziomu Rumunskich Dacii....
Z oszczędności wynika ten brak wyciszenia, chociaż powinni producenci w ramach opcji dawać lepsze wyciszenie.
Po pierwsze Toyota jest Koreańska a nie Japońska. Po drugie jeżdżę Hondą wyprodukowaną w Japonii i wyciszenie ma bardzo dobre, o wiele lepsze w porównaniu do np. Golfa VI, miałem okazję porównać

Jeździłem mazdą 6 III generacji przed liftem i poliftem i nie miałem problemu z wyciszeniem. Przy prędkościach autostradowych bardzo kulturalnie w środku.

In fact it is. It is taller and longer.
You are a 👍 driver, like my dad 🙂.
To be honest, he is not really a good driver. He revs the engine way to high, its a diesel and he cant steer smoothly. Also he drives in the middle lane although the right one is free. He speeds a bit too

@scott whatmore yes, avensis are not expensive as used ones so 3-5years old with 80000km are around 12000euro
Nice car but noisy BMW diesel compared to VW or Ford. That distinctive whine. Still sounds like a Rover 75.
Best Asian limousine ,better than Accord , problem is maybee high price ...everyone decide for Passat ,Audi a4 ,BMW 3 ser. Peugeot 508 ..or Renault Talisman and Insignia ...why is that ?

1.6 diesel are better engine and more reliable and better at fuel consumption by near liter and of course cheaper and if you want more power buy racechip for 140-250+ euro and you will get 140hp and 320+ nm and 10% less consumption too

What? The Avensis 3rd gen came out in 2008 back when Kia was making tin cans and SsangYongs were barely considered cars. The Avensis is no longer in production as of 2019 and was replaced by the Corolla Saloon and Camry. No shit it's dated.
