One thing I couldn't understand how did black noir got his healing abilities, in the flash black we see soilder boy burning his face on car or "fire something like that" shouldn't that be healed but his face is still burned as we saw when Maeve took of his mask to shove almond joy
I think black noir is going to play some kind of part in taking down homelander and Soldier Boy for in the boys: diabolical series he was put right alongside homelander for the purpose of taking him down if he gets out of hand however it goes I can't wait for the finale!💯😉😁👍

Actually Homelander can’t just kill Maeve and her eggs. Harvesting eggs and egg donation requires special hormones that causes lots of eggs and then you can only get them during ovulation, it’s not like organs or anything like that. So he does need her alive for at least about a month,
Season 4 theory, if Black Noir ends up living he might join the boys in season 4 and form a bond with Kimiko over both of their inability to speak and lack of choice in becoming a supe
I feel like he might kill Soldier Boy which would prompt Homelander into killing him. I definitely hope not and I hope he joins the boys too, he really had his time to shine in this episode I absolutely love his character now
I think it will be Homelander and Soldier Boys vs the Others(Maeve, Annie, Black Noir, A Train and The Boys) which may end up in Soldier boy dying, and which may lead to Homelander going full rogue and that's how the season ends.
I still think black noir will end up being a Homelander’s clon like the comics. Vought likes to have everything under control. They emphasized that Black noir is the one who obey 100% vought. He also was literally killed by Soldier boy. I think homelander was always the symbol who got broken already but the one who keeps everything under control for vought is Black noir.
This show is incredible and the black noir backstory done in a cartoon way was disturbing and interesting simultaneously 🤣. Seeing butcher actually realize that his mission is getting good people hurt and it bothering was interesting to see. You can tell he looks at Hughie and MM as good friends but he's just hellbent in killing the supes, so he'd emotionally drunk with rage
An interesting detail I liked about Noirs flashback with the toons. Is that SB and Countess are played by animals that are predators with SB having an Apex Predator portraying him. Meanwhile the others are animals that get preyed upon. Noir is a sheep, the TNT twins are horses Mindstorm is a goat. And Gunpowder is a pig. Furthermore, Noir being a black sheep is a reference to how he was the Black Sheep of Payback bc he was never truly part of the team but Voughts loyal attack dog. And I think Edgar was a meerkat or something. He definitely looked like a sort of scavenger type animal that digs tunnels meaning he always has plans in place and will swoop in once the prey has been killed. Everyone does the work and he reaps the rewards without lifting a finger.
I think there’s more to it than that too: CC is a fox, an animal typically seen as adorable and harmless, but also silent and unassuming hunters. Gunpowder being a pig is like a war pig. Goats are commonly associated with the occult, mysticism similar to Mindstorm’s powers. Idk about the horses
I honestly think it's pretty cool how they flipped comic Black Noirs arc and Soldier Boys arc. In the comics, Black Noir being a clone of Homelander is kind of flipped it onto Soldier Boy with him being Homeys father in the show. Then Soldier Boy in the comics wanting into the Seven and was willing to do anything for it, similar to how Black Noir has now been shown to want to be more popular before he was left brain damaged (to say the least).
The comic book was trash compared to the show. This is one of those rare instances where the show is better than the source material. Honestly the comic book is paper thin story telling
@Nathan Turner No. He likes to be feared, or loved. Killing her wouldn't do well for his numbers as she was too popular. He wanted to use her popularity to buffer his own. If she was a nobody he would have torn her apart. And people who don't fear him confuse him. That's why butcher and gustavo are still alive.
My theory is that Stormfront provided the egg for Soldier Boys sperm. After soldier boy dies this season after building a father/son bond with Homelander, the icing on the cake next season to really push Homelander to madness will be the reveal that he was f*ING his own mother too, whom his own son essentially killed.
Can go a few ways if your theory is legit. Homelander accepts the truth but still wants to kill his father anyway "waits for the right time" and uses him as a pawn in one of his schemes to try and eliminate butcher and his other enemies. Homelander is completely off balance when he finds out Stormfront(liberty) was his mum etc leaving a opportunity for his enemies/rivals or his own father to strike. Just think how powerful that would hurt him if the media somehow found out the truth as well he would "all lose his ratings" resulting him in complete going off the rails ready to go on a city mass population slaughter like he imagines all the time in his mind. If butcher was to find out this information before anyone else it would be the perfect way to REALLLY hurt homelander and butcher would love every moment of it too which suits his vengeful personality considering in the comics he eventually becomes a known villain in the long run. Something else would be crazy if Homelander found his son and then meet up with Solider Boy to introduce him as his grandfather to boost family moral and finally win over his son...Homelander would see that as a "major win in his angry miserable life"
I hate how Butcher is just knowingly enabling Hughie's addiction to compound V. What makes it worse is that Hughie is very much like a brother to Butcher.
I kind of want it to seem Butcher is keeping him in the dark and when Strlight finally meets Hughie again it turns out Butcher broke off screen and decided to tell him right after the cut but Hughie feels he's too deep to stop. Would keep the tension and give Hughie his first time knowing full well the risk and still going and keep Butchers flashbacks somewhat intact
Now I'm more excited for the season finale. Now it's Soldier Boy and Homelander vs The Boys also including Starlight, Kimiko and maybe Black Noir. This was another amazing episode.
Shame that the writers decided for the most obvious thing. At least i hope that butch and hughie get permanent v. At least they can give us that. Everything else is so painfully predicatble

I think Black Noir is actually really f'd up, not like in the comics, but his switch flips under rare circumstances and he trashes shit with no regard for the life of those around him. Hence the hard rock cafe incident, and why it's possible he has an on and off brain implant created by Vought.

Also, Black Noir was the only Black guy on their team. Which is hinted at as being the motivation behind why Soldier Boy badmouthed Noir to Don Simpson. Hence Soldier Boy's comment about how if he caught Noir trying to "move on up" again, he'd put Noir in the ground. "Movin' On Up" is a reference to the tv show The Jeffersons, where a Black dry cleaning franchise owner moves out of poverty to the upper east side, renting a deluxe apartment in a high rise. Soldier Boy was pretty much telling Noir to know his place, and not try to rise above what Soldier Boy feels is his station. Even going so far as to berate Noir before beating him up, telling him he's nothing, and he'll never amount to anything. This is likely due to Soldier Boy being from 1940s, a time when Jim Crow was still going on, and Black people were considered second class citizens in America. Homelander's treatment of A-Train may be meant to be a modern day parallel to Soldier Boy and Noir's relationship. Showing that the apple truly doesn't fall that far from the racist tree.

I'm calling right now, Soldier Boy is secretly resentful of homelanders existence and he blames him for everything that went wrong in life because had Homelander never existed, Vought wouldn't have decided to replace him. So Soldier Boy plans on using this to manipulate homelander and kill him. So I think this is going to be the thing that makes Homelander snap and get rid of his humanity and go on a rampage.

There is no way anyone on earth can defeat them at that point, so writers cant tag team sb and hl and since they cant your idea is a very viable option left to be discovered where sb manipulates hl and hl realizing his father screwed him goes berserk.

Small correction; at the time of Soldier Boy's "death", Stan Edgar was not yet CEO. He was just payback's handler. So the order might not have come from Mr. Vought, but just from the board/CEO of that time. (i.e. Edgar was nowhere near the top of the ladder back then, so there are many places that order could have come from)

hear me out, everybody says that homelander has to die at the end of the show, but I think the perfect end for him would be for soldier boy to betray him and take away his powers permanently, so that he lives the rest of his life as a normal person, the perfect punishment

Finding out what temp v does to the brain makes me believe that we saw it in its earliest stages in Diabolical. (The boyd in 3d episode) This could be before Vought found the right dosage for it. Now in the season, the development is ready for distribution.
You can almost skip every scene of the Deep and not miss anything important this season, and last season. Maybe aside from him giving Maeve the flight video.
i love The Deep because I feel like he represent us the fans, having almost a useless but cool power ( who of us didn't wish at some point for Aquaman's power as a kid) , being traumatized by the event of the boys
I commented this on a separate video, but I’m curious if Starlight will force/convince Hughie to take the more refined version of compound V so that it can heal him (possibly Butcher too, however I know she doesn’t care as much for him). Either way, in the end that would be crazy because they both permanently become what they set out to kill. As for Butcher though, I feel he’s going to eventually die - compound V or not. Just some random thoughts 😂
Finally a consistently good shoooeee. We're in the third season and it keeps getting better. It usually takes the 3rd season for me to drop interest, but I can't wait for the finale🤯
Why is nobody mentioning the fact there there was still loads of V left in that tube AFTER Kimiko took her dose. Just sitting there on the table. I hope they use it. And it isn’t just a continuity error.
regarding MM, you can also see his OCD/clean-freak in the fact that he uses a wet-wipe to clean the sofa before sitting down next to Frenchie. I noticed it when watching the episode and thought it's a pretty neat little detail
Here's one of my theories. At the beginning of this season when Hughie went to the orphanage of supe children, the little boy that teleported to Hughie & pointed at the TV. that is Stillwell son. Which got me to thinking that maybe Temp V is made from the DNA of super children, which is why it's effects are temporary. Maybe the batch that Hughie is using was made from the DNA of that little boy (Stillwell's Son).
There are no batches, butcher and huey always get the same powers, it’s never shown that they look at the vials before shooting up to check which is which. Or that Maeve always gave them the same batches.
The theory with the powers is that it's a projection of their personalities. Huey has been running away from things his whole life so he teleports. Butcher is a fighter so he fights.
What I think will happen in the finale is this Maeve will be already pregnant with Butchers child, soldier boy will use the fact that he's homelanders father to usurp homelanders at vought, butcher and hewie will be dying and they will use real compound V to save their life thus increasing their powers because it's my belief that temp V while it gives them powers its not their full capability of powers because it's temporary..... and the biggest twist will be soldier boy will kidnapp ryan and temporarily take homelanders power and I could see a senerio where homelander has to team up with the the boys next season to save his son Ryan. Butcher will get a second chance to get things right with a potential child with Maeve and their child soldier Boy is going to turn out to be a bigger monster than homelander and they will need to come together to protect those they all care about because i believe they are giving soldierboy homelanders storyline from the comics of him forming a legion of dangerous viilians ...... again this is all speculation..... don't get mad at me if I'm correct lol

Ann N'D it’s not in the comics. It was the episode where she gave him the temp V. But a funny little detail from the comics that got cut from the show was that the legend and Maeve banged quite a few times. They even had a kid who got killed by huighie… twice😂. That said she did work with the boys in the comics as well.

So, I think Victoria and Sam Edgar planned the whole thing, her flipping on Sam. I think they are trying to make singer president with her as vp, have his head pop, and then have her take the reins as president, and then like in the comics, somehow place all thr blame for all the vought fuck ups on Ashley and reinstate edgar
I think it would be too much of a coincidence. Given how the media plays a large role in the show, I believe it would be called out as coincidental Victoria survived the head popper once again with everything to gain. Vought appears to be on its last leg. Home lander is near his breaking point and as the face of the company, his downfall will commence a domino effect. Vought can’t afford to lose any more face ESPECIALLY in regards to Homelander. It would seem more plausible for Sam Edgar to use his influence within Vought to take what and who he needs and start another organization or shadow group. He always seemed like a behind the scenes kind of character or puppet master per sè. Vought has dug a hole for itself with the amount of lies they’ve blatantly told to the national public, at this point if just one surfaces their stocks will plummet. They’re on a thin line and on the brink of sparking a national or international crisis. I feel like the company as a whole is a ticking time bomb. Really exciting how hard it is to anticipate the future for the show with all its twists. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Only one episode left 😢 😢. I can't get enough of this amazingly entertaining show. I wish it had an infinite number of episodes. The seven going up against whatever super villains are out there and of course I can watch Homelander all day cause his character is beyond captivating. It definitely looks like Frenchie will be able to knock soldier boy out with the gas but how will they kill him once he's unconscious? I'm sure episode 8 will have a surprising twist and be awesome but it's going to suck having to wait for season 4. I really want to see Homelander being much more powerful than everyone else and how near impossible it will be to take him down.
When this season started, and we've more of soldier boy, I've always thought they were too much alike because homelander was the next soldier boy, homelander the son of soldier boy, I bet butcher going to be pisses than usually.
Theories though, is that Butcher sacrifices himself by overinjection of compound V to kill either Soldier Boy or Homelander. He wouldn't let his brother nor Hughie see him weak in the face of adversity, so he'll take it all on. Whether he lives or dies, who knows. But I know he will protect Hughie after Mindstorm's nightmare. He can't lose another brother.
You're putting too much faith in butcher. His whole arc is losing his humanity in pursuit of homelander. He probably won't hesitate to sacrifice hughie. Him having the nightmare might finally make him accept his brother's death and stop seeing Hughie as a replacement lol

A little detail that is confusing and bothering me and doesn't seem to be random Soldier boy keeps hearing voices in the woods, this is the first time it happens to him since he showed up, and there is no way it's just a coincidence that Mindstorm told Hughie that he has to get away from the voices. what do you think ! EDIT: it's also probably the reason why there are so many metal pieces hanging out of Mindstorm's house making noise so he doesn't hear them voices.

I feel like it’s going to be a battle between SB’s ego and Homelander’s struggle with his human side. I think they’ll both want to be father and son but their weaknesses will prevent this…I hope because I like SB and want him to stay “neutral”.
I like the spin on Black Noir vs the comic version. It'll be interesting to see his face. I'm imagining some kind of Frankenstein's monster patch job that led to his fractured mind/skull.
Solid breakdown of the episode and fun theories to ponder all within 23 minutes, noice. The only thing i can complain about and it's not this video, rather, it's the realization that season three is almost over and the wait for the next season begins all too soon.
The whole Solider Boy not really being a war hero reminds me of Ronald Regan. People touted him as being a great veteran but he really spent most of his time in California making army training films.
This was probably one of the best filmed episodes. Seeing butchers backstory and how he slowly became his own father shown by the camera angles of him beating down gunpowder and others the same way his own father beat him. Then the same angle is shown AGAIN with soldier boy attacking mindstorm, cementing that he’s become the thing he hates (a monster supe) by using temp V.
Even more rabbit hole theory re Stormfront and Soldierboy is the fact that these two are the only two supes who don't age. Could be that Soldierboy is Stormfront's son as well as Homelander's dad - some pretty heavy inbreeding would further compound Homelander's insanity. Also trying to work out how to make someone an immortal would definitely be in Vaught's MO and explain why Homelander is truly "bad product".
The last scene where Butcher asked Hughie to ask for more Temp V was logical. Remember, last time he left Leny, the latter died(suicide). I believe Butcher was paranoid that when he let Hughie go his separate way, he might die. So, the choice Butcher made was very logical, for him.
I thought the constant "what did you say?" from Solider Boy was a result of Mindstorm sending thoughts to his head. Didn't catch on to the fact that being high did that to him
I think this confirms that Homelander and Soldier Boy teaming up. Why would both Soldier Boy and Homelander be in the same place and yet seemingly there for a similar reason? Wouldn't they be fighting each other since that is what Soldier Boy promised Butch? It seems to me that they have no interest in that. I can also see Maeve dying here fighting Homelander just like in the comics, but in a more heroic way. It would be a good way for her to get back at him and redeem herself. If this is all being recorded, then her sacrifice could inspire people to go against Homelander and cause him to eventually turn against everyone and go ballistic.
Also, like I said about shrapnel, we have no idea that Soldier Boy really did destroy Black Noir's head. Black Noir is handicapped, his brain is sliced in two. So whereas I believe he can still remember the beating at the beginning of his inception, I feel like when it happened could be due to shell-shock. Cause even Soldier Boy didn't figure that Black Noir gave him up to the Russians until Mindstorm.
As Homelander and Vought knew Starlight was and would break in, I think the message about people dying taking Temp V was planted. After all, Homelander was almost equalled by Temp V opponents. However, why not taint the product so that Butch and crew would poison themselves....? Oooh, love this show!!
They revealed that Soldier Boy real name is Ben. It's reference to the show Dark Angel season 1 where Jensen Ackles played one of Super soldiers created by Manticore.
I love how the Boys solves the problem with scale of power. Instead of bringing Homelander down, Butcher and co rise to his strength. Unlike how Superman's adversaries usually act, which is try and disable him before the third act. Also the stronger the heroes get, the more true to life fight sequences look. They exert immense power compared to mere mortals, however they look like they are having a fistfight if they're equals in strength. And it feels right. When Superman faces Zod and co, the focus is on collateral damage and the fight sequences, especially the ones in air simply feel unsatisfying. I don't know, just my two cents.
It may not have been as utterly incredible as Herogasm, but ep8 was still great. That last scene of Soldier Boy telling Homelander he's his son is such a great reversal of the latter saying that to his son at the end of season 1 and had me screaming.
Shit I think you may be onto something about Stormfront/Liberty being Homelander's mother, especially thinking about some of the things she said to him in the first two episodes and her suicide...
Also, Black Noir was the black sheep of Payback because he was black. Hence Edgar telling him to keep his mask on unless he wants to be transferred to a more racist town. He's quiet and reserved because he had his temporal lobe slashed by shrapnel, which leads him to being unable to speak.

Soldier boy still might not be homelanders father and is instead attempting to lure him in to either kill for himself to retake the most powerful supe rank or to honour his end of the deal with hughie and butcher even if reluctant
Homelander and Soldier Boy discovering they are related can only end badly. If they ally, they are unstoppable, with Soldier Boy teaching Homelander to remove his human side with his abusive "Macho" attitude. if they are allied and one of them dies, the other one may snap, Homelander for losing the one thing he wanted most, and Soldier Boy for being betrayed by everyone and then losing a son.
I'd like to see butcher take what he thinks is his last bit of v24 b4 it kills him then when on it he injects the real V into his arm and his eyes turn green and it heals his brain and then turns butcher into a hulk.
I only just noticed that Mindstorms Payback persona is a turtle neck wearing Darren brown like magician I think also, maybe they sent soldier boy to the soviets so that homelander would have an enemy to fight.. it would also nullify his image as an American hero making way for homelander

Nope. You could see it triggered something in him after the Mindstorm encounter. He's always wanted to have kids, that much he said before frying Crimson Countess.
My theories about the finale: Homelander and SB teamed up will be so strong. My theory is Homelander will kill soldierboy because that what homelander would do he would be jealous because SB defeated him, or MM and Franchie will weaken him and MM will kill him avenging his family. Possibly Black noir can also do it because his character arc is building towards the standing up for himself. I'm worried that he will die in this fight, but the show likes keeping Alive Main members of the Seven. I know that's some obvious theories but Homelander is already confirmed in S4. I think in the fight against homelander and SB all boys and the Seven (Black noir, a-train meeve and Amy) will join which will lead to homelander finally losing his mind. I'm not sure if Ryan will join the fight maybe they will save him for next seasons. Either way without fans, and without family (SBwill die and Stormfront his mother is also dead) Homie will lose his mind and will start a supes uprising like in the comics. Or maybe they will do something else. I think A-train is close to leaving the Seven because Ashley and everyone are treating him badly. He changed and I think he has enought of Vought. Because they are Liars just like homelander.

Actually Homelander can’t just kill Maeve and her eggs. Harvesting eggs and egg donation requires special hormones that causes lots of eggs and then you can only get them during ovulation, it’s not like organs or anything like that. So he does need her alive for at least about a month,
The other issue is that Maeve would not take any medications willingly. The room is most likely a form of white room torture to get Maeve to agree.
He could lazer her brain just enough and keep her life support as a living incubator. He just hasn't thought of that because he's not very bright.

I still think black noir will end up being a Homelander’s clon like the comics. Vought likes to have everything under control. They emphasized that Black noir is the one who obey 100% vought. He also was literally killed by Soldier boy. I think homelander was always the symbol who got broken already but the one who keeps everything under control for vought is Black noir.
This show is incredible and the black noir backstory done in a cartoon way was disturbing and interesting simultaneously 🤣. Seeing butcher actually realize that his mission is getting good people hurt and it bothering was interesting to see. You can tell he looks at Hughie and MM as good friends but he's just hellbent in killing the supes, so he'd emotionally drunk with rage

An interesting detail I liked about Noirs flashback with the toons. Is that SB and Countess are played by animals that are predators with SB having an Apex Predator portraying him.
Meanwhile the others are animals that get preyed upon. Noir is a sheep, the TNT twins are horses Mindstorm is a goat. And Gunpowder is a pig.
Furthermore, Noir being a black sheep is a reference to how he was the Black Sheep of Payback bc he was never truly part of the team but Voughts loyal attack dog.
And I think Edgar was a meerkat or something. He definitely looked like a sort of scavenger type animal that digs tunnels meaning he always has plans in place and will swoop in once the prey has been killed. Everyone does the work and he reaps the rewards without lifting a finger.

I honestly think it's pretty cool how they flipped comic Black Noirs arc and Soldier Boys arc. In the comics, Black Noir being a clone of Homelander is kind of flipped it onto Soldier Boy with him being Homeys father in the show. Then Soldier Boy in the comics wanting into the Seven and was willing to do anything for it, similar to how Black Noir has now been shown to want to be more popular before he was left brain damaged (to say the least).

My theory is that Stormfront provided the egg for Soldier Boys sperm. After soldier boy dies this season after building a father/son bond with Homelander, the icing on the cake next season to really push Homelander to madness will be the reveal that he was f*ING his own mother too, whom his own son essentially killed.

Homelander accepts the truth but still wants to kill his father anyway "waits for the right time" and uses him as a pawn in one of his schemes to try and eliminate butcher and his other enemies.
Homelander is completely off balance when he finds out Stormfront(liberty) was his mum etc leaving a opportunity for his enemies/rivals or his own father to strike.
Just think how powerful that would hurt him if the media somehow found out the truth as well he would "all lose his ratings" resulting him in complete going off the rails ready to go on a city mass population slaughter like he imagines all the time in his mind.
If butcher was to find out this information before anyone else it would be the perfect way to REALLLY hurt homelander and butcher would love every moment of it too which suits his vengeful personality considering in the comics he eventually becomes a known villain in the long run.

I think Black Noir is actually really f'd up, not like in the comics, but his switch flips under rare circumstances and he trashes shit with no regard for the life of those around him. Hence the hard rock cafe incident, and why it's possible he has an on and off brain implant created by Vought.

Also, Black Noir was the only Black guy on their team. Which is hinted at as being the motivation behind why Soldier Boy badmouthed Noir to Don Simpson. Hence Soldier Boy's comment about how if he caught Noir trying to "move on up" again, he'd put Noir in the ground. "Movin' On Up" is a reference to the tv show The Jeffersons, where a Black dry cleaning franchise owner moves out of poverty to the upper east side, renting a deluxe apartment in a high rise. Soldier Boy was pretty much telling Noir to know his place, and not try to rise above what Soldier Boy feels is his station. Even going so far as to berate Noir before beating him up, telling him he's nothing, and he'll never amount to anything. This is likely due to Soldier Boy being from 1940s, a time when Jim Crow was still going on, and Black people were considered second class citizens in America. Homelander's treatment of A-Train may be meant to be a modern day parallel to Soldier Boy and Noir's relationship. Showing that the apple truly doesn't fall that far from the racist tree.

Small correction; at the time of Soldier Boy's "death", Stan Edgar was not yet CEO. He was just payback's handler. So the order might not have come from Mr. Vought, but just from the board/CEO of that time. (i.e. Edgar was nowhere near the top of the ladder back then, so there are many places that order could have come from)

Here's one of my theories. At the beginning of this season when Hughie went to the orphanage of supe children, the little boy that teleported to Hughie & pointed at the TV. that is Stillwell son. Which got me to thinking that maybe Temp V is made from the DNA of super children, which is why it's effects are temporary. Maybe the batch that Hughie is using was made from the DNA of that little boy (Stillwell's Son).
There are no batches, butcher and huey always get the same powers, it’s never shown that they look at the vials before shooting up to check which is which. Or that Maeve always gave them the same batches.
The theory with the powers is that it's a projection of their personalities. Huey has been running away from things his whole life so he teleports. Butcher is a fighter so he fights.
What I think will happen in the finale is this Maeve will be already pregnant with Butchers child, soldier boy will use the fact that he's homelanders father to usurp homelanders at vought, butcher and hewie will be dying and they will use real compound V to save their life thus increasing their powers because it's my belief that temp V while it gives them powers its not their full capability of powers because it's temporary..... and the biggest twist will be soldier boy will kidnapp ryan and temporarily take homelanders power and I could see a senerio where homelander has to team up with the the boys next season to save his son Ryan. Butcher will get a second chance to get things right with a potential child with Maeve and their child soldier Boy is going to turn out to be a bigger monster than homelander and they will need to come together to protect those they all care about because i believe they are giving soldierboy homelanders storyline from the comics of him forming a legion of dangerous viilians ...... again this is all speculation..... don't get mad at me if I'm correct lol

But a funny little detail from the comics that got cut from the show was that the legend and Maeve banged quite a few times. They even had a kid who got killed by huighie… twice😂. That said she did work with the boys in the comics as well.

I think it would be too much of a coincidence. Given how the media plays a large role in the show, I believe it would be called out as coincidental Victoria survived the head popper once again with everything to gain. Vought appears to be on its last leg. Home lander is near his breaking point and as the face of the company, his downfall will commence a domino effect. Vought can’t afford to lose any more face ESPECIALLY in regards to Homelander. It would seem more plausible for Sam Edgar to use his influence within Vought to take what and who he needs and start another organization or shadow group. He always seemed like a behind the scenes kind of character or puppet master per sè. Vought has dug a hole for itself with the amount of lies they’ve blatantly told to the national public, at this point if just one surfaces their stocks will plummet. They’re on a thin line and on the brink of sparking a national or international crisis. I feel like the company as a whole is a ticking time bomb. Really exciting how hard it is to anticipate the future for the show with all its twists. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Only one episode left 😢 😢. I can't get enough of this amazingly entertaining show. I wish it had an infinite number of episodes. The seven going up against whatever super villains are out there and of course I can watch Homelander all day cause his character is beyond captivating. It definitely looks like Frenchie will be able to knock soldier boy out with the gas but how will they kill him once he's unconscious? I'm sure episode 8 will have a surprising twist and be awesome but it's going to suck having to wait for season 4. I really want to see Homelander being much more powerful than everyone else and how near impossible it will be to take him down.
When this season started, and we've more of soldier boy, I've always thought they were too much alike because homelander was the next soldier boy, homelander the son of soldier boy, I bet butcher going to be pisses than usually.
Theories though, is that Butcher sacrifices himself by overinjection of compound V to kill either Soldier Boy or Homelander. He wouldn't let his brother nor Hughie see him weak in the face of adversity, so he'll take it all on. Whether he lives or dies, who knows. But I know he will protect Hughie after Mindstorm's nightmare. He can't lose another brother.
You're putting too much faith in butcher. His whole arc is losing his humanity in pursuit of homelander. He probably won't hesitate to sacrifice hughie. Him having the nightmare might finally make him accept his brother's death and stop seeing Hughie as a replacement lol

I feel like it’s going to be a battle between SB’s ego and Homelander’s struggle with his human side. I think they’ll both want to be father and son but their weaknesses will prevent this…I hope because I like SB and want him to stay “neutral”.

The whole Solider Boy not really being a war hero reminds me of Ronald Regan. People touted him as being a great veteran but he really spent most of his time in California making army training films.

This was probably one of the best filmed episodes. Seeing butchers backstory and how he slowly became his own father shown by the camera angles of him beating down gunpowder and others the same way his own father beat him. Then the same angle is shown AGAIN with soldier boy attacking mindstorm, cementing that he’s become the thing he hates (a monster supe) by using temp V.
Even more rabbit hole theory re Stormfront and Soldierboy is the fact that these two are the only two supes who don't age. Could be that Soldierboy is Stormfront's son as well as Homelander's dad - some pretty heavy inbreeding would further compound Homelander's insanity.
Also trying to work out how to make someone an immortal would definitely be in Vaught's MO and explain why Homelander is truly "bad product".
The last scene where Butcher asked Hughie to ask for more Temp V was logical. Remember, last time he left Leny, the latter died(suicide). I believe Butcher was paranoid that when he let Hughie go his separate way, he might die. So, the choice Butcher made was very logical, for him.

I think this confirms that Homelander and Soldier Boy teaming up. Why would both Soldier Boy and Homelander be in the same place and yet seemingly there for a similar reason? Wouldn't they be fighting each other since that is what Soldier Boy promised Butch? It seems to me that they have no interest in that.
I can also see Maeve dying here fighting Homelander just like in the comics, but in a more heroic way. It would be a good way for her to get back at him and redeem herself. If this is all being recorded, then her sacrifice could inspire people to go against Homelander and cause him to eventually turn against everyone and go ballistic.

Also, like I said about shrapnel, we have no idea that Soldier Boy really did destroy Black Noir's head. Black Noir is handicapped, his brain is sliced in two. So whereas I believe he can still remember the beating at the beginning of his inception, I feel like when it happened could be due to shell-shock. Cause even Soldier Boy didn't figure that Black Noir gave him up to the Russians until Mindstorm.

As Homelander and Vought knew Starlight was and would break in, I think the message about people dying taking Temp V was planted. After all, Homelander was almost equalled by Temp V opponents. However, why not taint the product so that Butch and crew would poison themselves....? Oooh, love this show!!
They revealed that Soldier Boy real name is Ben. It's reference to the show Dark Angel season 1 where Jensen Ackles played one of Super soldiers created by Manticore.
I love how the Boys solves the problem with scale of power. Instead of bringing Homelander down, Butcher and co rise to his strength. Unlike how Superman's adversaries usually act, which is try and disable him before the third act. Also the stronger the heroes get, the more true to life fight sequences look. They exert immense power compared to mere mortals, however they look like they are having a fistfight if they're equals in strength. And it feels right. When Superman faces Zod and co, the focus is on collateral damage and the fight sequences, especially the ones in air simply feel unsatisfying. I don't know, just my two cents.
I hope soldier boy doesn't die, he's my favourite character after kimiko.
It may not have been as utterly incredible as Herogasm, but ep8 was still great. That last scene of Soldier Boy telling Homelander he's his son is such a great reversal of the latter saying that to his son at the end of season 1 and had me screaming.

Also, Black Noir was the black sheep of Payback because he was black. Hence Edgar telling him to keep his mask on unless he wants to be transferred to a more racist town. He's quiet and reserved because he had his temporal lobe slashed by shrapnel, which leads him to being unable to speak.

Soldier boy still might not be homelanders father and is instead attempting to lure him in to either kill for himself to retake the most powerful supe rank or to honour his end of the deal with hughie and butcher even if reluctant
Homelander and Soldier Boy discovering they are related can only end badly.
If they ally, they are unstoppable, with Soldier Boy teaching Homelander to remove his human side with his abusive "Macho" attitude. if they are allied and one of them dies, the other one may snap, Homelander for losing the one thing he wanted most, and Soldier Boy for being betrayed by everyone and then losing a son.

I'd like to see butcher take what he thinks is his last bit of v24 b4 it kills him then when on it he injects the real V into his arm and his eyes turn green and it heals his brain and then turns butcher into a hulk.

My theories about the finale:
Homelander and SB teamed up will be so strong. My theory is Homelander will kill soldierboy because that what homelander would do he would be jealous because SB defeated him, or MM and Franchie will weaken him and MM will kill him avenging his family. Possibly Black noir can also do it because his character arc is building towards the standing up for himself. I'm worried that he will die in this fight, but the show likes keeping Alive Main members of the Seven. I know that's some obvious theories but Homelander is already confirmed in S4.
I think in the fight against homelander and SB all boys and the Seven (Black noir, a-train meeve and Amy) will join which will lead to homelander finally losing his mind. I'm not sure if Ryan will join the fight maybe they will save him for next seasons. Either way without fans, and without family (SBwill die and Stormfront his mother is also dead) Homie will lose his mind and will start a supes uprising like in the comics. Or maybe they will do something else.
I think A-train is close to leaving the Seven because Ashley and everyone are treating him badly. He changed and I think he has enought of Vought. Because they are Liars just like homelander.
