Not advisable, you can go for some steel handrails to avoid further loading. As I mentioned in the video, if there is a cantilever beam supporting the slab then you can go for 4.5” wall.
Sir ,many so called "" civil engineers"" do such blunders just to mask their mistakes and to impress upon the clients that they are minimising the cost by such idiotic ideas. As a mechanical engineer, I feel very ashamed of this

Yes dear friend, no doubt it’s a cantilever slab. What ever the reinforcement inside, it doesn’t have the proportionate thickness to withstand the load above. Hence it fails.

Self wt of 4” tk slab - .12x1.0x1.0x25= 3.0 KN Self wt of 9” tk BW- .23x.12x3.0x16= 13.0 KN Total Dead load = 16.0 KN Area of load distribution =.23x1.2=0.28 sqm 16.0 KN acting on 0.28 sqm 4.2 KN only allowed on 0.28 sqm Hence it is over loaded 4 times which is unsafe. (10.0KN per sqm for domestic slab and here is considered 15.0 KN per sqm for maximum reinforcement)🤦🏻
