Fantastic craftsmanship starting right away with the calçada driveway and patio wrapping around the home, the stonework, carpentry, tile, finishes… top drawer in my opinion. What a peace of mind property. I would sit by that little waterfall everyday for at least a few moments. A great presentation once again Nick! A slice of heaven. The falls and ponds are a big plus. The plant by the big pond is a papyrus plant. The house is beautifully done. But truly the only oversight is the lack of the bathroom off the top floor bedroom. With such attention to detail why did they not build that in to start with. Is there an issue we don’t know about? At any rate very nice overall and the property is unique and gorgeous at a fair price. If I were overseas this would definitely be a contender. ❤

@@destino2portugal Absolutely I've been watching your channel since the very beginning....and your confidence and camera work has skyrocketed !!!😁👍 About one year ago I was looking at a certain property in Portugal and employed a buyers agency to check it out for me... no video, parts of the property outbuildings that were of interest to me completely missed out, many questions left unanswered... and so I dismissed the property as probably being unsuitable. Then a few months later you and Paula did a visit /video of the same property....during the visit and through your video you perfectly answered all my outstanding questions, left no stone unturned! Unfortunately that doesn't say much for the person I employed. For now my own move to Portugal has hit some snags, the completion on sale of my property has fallen through mainly due to rising interest rates/Truss - economics 🙄 However I've since returned to the drawing-board my property in SW Wales is back on the market, and I have already had some interest shown in it, and so onwards and upwards Portugal still the destination !!! May I ask you a question about this particular property, I think from your drone footage that I have worked out how you would access the first terrace by tractor. But how do you get a tractor down to the second terrace and the rest of the land ? And my final question hoping its not too cheeky as its nothing to do with the property in question. I am in the market for a camera drone, but am very confused by the price differences of said drones, .They seem to range from just above 0 to thousands of £ .. and everyone claims to be the best camera drone on the planet 😄 Your drone footage is always impressive, may I please ask what drone you use ?

I ❤ this property. If only it was easy to immigrate as pensioners, will Love to stay here! Can see lots of fruit trees, vegetable patch, some chickens for eggs, peace tranquility. A nice cozy spot by the waterfall, table chairs to enjoy tea and cake or a nice barbecue. Possibilities endless with this property. Love Love Love it.

Europe has many gypsies and others from Eastern Europe who can moved anywhere within the EU. I am not saying all gypsies are bad but many are . These people even took the kitchen, toilets,sink, tap etc. absolutely nothing left even doors!

Wonderful property but I would not consider properties below the road especially when your whole property is overlooked from a public road. Also, what is behind that huge wall and why did they need it so huge? PS: That's not bamboo, that's papyrus.
I live in the NWUK. We bought our Saddleworth style detached home in the late 90's for £135,000. It had about 1/3 of an acre garden. We had planning permission for part of that, which we have since sold and someone has built a house on the small bit of land. We still have a sizable garden, and best of all, selling off that bit of land didn't alter the value of our property. We sold the land for £75,000. The current value of our property is £550,000. Not a bad investment, I reckon. We're looking to sell our home soon. It's nice to know we'll be able to sell our home and buy a property akin to this, and still have money left over. We were considering retiring in Italy. But, the more I see Portugal, the more I love the landscape. It's lush and rugged. I wish this house could be available when we're ready to move. The garden is incredible and I'd definitely make a natural swimming pool by the falls. My only issue would be the house being a tad smaller then I'd like. Adding a bathroom upstairs is a must. Shame it wasn't on 3 floors. The garden is so irresistible, I reckon you could tolerate a small house.
Lovely place. I think I'd like to know, how often that waterfall ran dry and if so, could the bore-hole (AKA 'well') supply enough water to keep the garden green. A dustbowl garden and stagnant rotting pond, might be a very different prospect (if you'll pardon the pun.)
Master bedroom without a bathroom? In the middle of the night you have to go downstairs or can use the back door to relief yourself? The rest is amazing.

Ace video really watchable, informative enough without being too much. We've just had to cut our visit to Portugal short from 2 weeks to 5 days so didn't manage to get to the Central parts. Ended up spending most of them in Sesimbra. I blame you personally for the amount of searching online for houses there 😂😂😂 I feel I may be addicted! We will be coming again hopefully in a few months time to look for a house there so if you see two pale English people looking lost around then it'll probably be me and my wife 😂

You need to occupy it all the time or vandalism and burglary will happen as it is isolated.
