    I live in gurgaon for last 10 years and have travelled to Other cities in india frequently like Mumbai, BLR. Ludhiana being the richest city of Punjab does not have an airport. There is no proper Transport facilities, mismanaged traffic and poor Urban Infrastructure. Many of the Funds from Ludhiana have been used in other Cities like Amritsar. Amritsar is mainly famous for its pilgrimage and wagah border (no doubt they have massive Rice Sheller plants) and has an Airport but very less contribution to the overall development of Punjab. Surely Politics is involved in it.
    Please see if you guys can post a video to highlight this issue of Ludhiana.

    Actually, I have been living in this city for last 20 years. I have seen a small town to grow and become a metropolitan city that too in a very small time period for a city this big. And yes, there are problems in our city but as you already told in your video that MCG and GMDA have been setup. And the beautification is already being done in the city. And the drainage system has also been improved compared to the previous years. To conclude, YES, IT IS TAKING TIME TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT, BUT MAKING A CITY LIKE GURUGRAM IS NOT EASY THAT TOO IN A SMALL PERIOD. AND YOU YORSELF SAID THAT CITY WAS CONSIDERD A WASTELAND TILL 20 YEARS AGO, AND NOW IT IS THE 2nd LARGEST IT HUB AND PROVIDES 40% OF REVENUE FOR THE STATE OF HARYANA ALONE.

    Most of the problems discussed here are overexaggerated other than the transport. Local migration
    As Gurgaon emerged as a industrialization hub, the rich people from all the North india started investment in land that increased the land prices to a very high levels, leaving the upper middle class and below to live in their current residences or migrate to the outskirts of the city, which are not really outskirts, they are different cities all together.

    covered by Development Plans providing for sound urban infrastructure and services.. Therefore, planning failure if any is negligible.However,the plan implementing agencies have not lived up to the mark for various reasons.This is what we see on ground today. She is either from noida or from Bangalore who is astonished to see Gurgaon growth and future but can't do anything.
    Air quality gets bad in gurgaon only when nearby farmers burn crops.
    There is no water shortage in gurgaon as there is enough planning. I can vouch for it as i am living here for last 30 years. Ab koi unlicensed colony me ghr bnakr rhega to wha paani kaise aega.
    Electricity...i don't remember ki last time light 1 hr se jyada kb gyi ti and no regular cut in a day.
    Public Transportation is a problem but people earn very handsome in this place ki log autos and cabs book kr skte h. Aur metro has been planned which will execute in 3-5 yrs.
    Now what makes gurgaon good for future growth and investment.
    Proximity to delhi and igi airport. Desh ki rajdhani se sbse paas hone ka pura fayda gurgaon ke pas h aur ye fayda bdta hi ja rha h. even ab to delhi k log gurgaon me a rhe h.
    Good business policies by government.
    Planned industrial and commercial development, jisse bht sara international fund gurgaon me a rha h.
    Good planning of city for futrure by GMDA.
    Big and wide highways running through out the ciry, NH8, DWARKA EXPRESSWAY, GOLF COURSE ROAD, EXTENSION ROAD, CENTRAL PERIPHERAL ROAD AND SOUTHERN PERIPHERAL ROAD.

    Every word is factual about gurgaon, from it's history to it's present state . It truly sucks thanks to the conglomerate of the govt and builder mafia. Fools who ended up buying property there at a cheap real estate period are suffering today big time.

    Reason of issues is, it's a very big and wide city nearly of 270km square. Transport is not a problem here, you are wrong in it, because all people have own car and bike. But yeah if you Go side of city then transport is not good at side.. But safety for women is better than delhi.

    I just dont understand how everyone can blame developers and industries for the govts incompetence. If you see the work done by DLF, you can really find flaws with it, they built roads, sewer lines wherever they could. What more could they have done?

      @Blueberry-x7x ปีที่แล้ว

      Umm.. I think you don't know the history of Gurugram. This is what the private sector wanted: to make a private city without govt interference. And after the private sector made the their profits and moved on to new things, there was nobody taking care of the city. So then they went crying to the govt. to take over the city administration. But it was too late to make major changes. Only small changes are possible now. So not completely govt fault as they got the city long after if was mostly built.

    • @rishabh8766
      @rishabh8766 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blueberry-x7x i think the developers are still there, DLF made a bunch of roads, underpasses, they made the rapid metro. They also built the sewer lines in the areas they owned. So to say they made a quick buck and moved on would be incorrect. They completed their job.

    • @rishabh8766
      @rishabh8766 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blueberry-x7x you can build a private city if the govt allows it, but at the end some govt involvement will be needed anyway, you cant have private police for example, for obvious reasons, similarly any protected natural areas, water bodies (and hence trunk sewerage). Govt will always mantain control of that, and hence the responsibility.

    • @Blueberry-x7x
      @Blueberry-x7x ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rishabh8766 exactly, they completed the job. After that? That's what I mean by city administration. It was first formed in 2009.
