Traditional Indian architecture should be reintroduced. India has so many artisans and craftsmen who are skilled at hand tools and creating traditional designs, they will get employed and it would be of great help to these artisans/craftsmen and laborers who live below the poverty line unlike in the developed countries where hand using labor gets paid the highest.
@@visualphysics6792 i think you are confusing modern architecture with modern building techniques, you can have any desired style of architecture be sturdy and well made if good construction practices and techniques are implemented. So a traditional look can still be achieved while keeping the longevity of the structures intact. I think it is great idea to incorporate Indian architecture.
well as much as I would love to see that, the librandus will label it as hindu fascism or hindu brutalist architecture which is a direct inspiration from nazi brutalist architecture
But then people will start arguing that they have tried to glorify Hinduism through this architecture, the reason I am saying this is because India's indigenous genius in architecture can be seen at Meenakshi temple, Vithhala temple, Hampi, Sun temple ( they are Hindu temples) & if they are going to make it like Red Fort or Taj Mahal , it will still give a sense of Persian & Arabic elements or let's say Indo- Islamic architecture. Few details & correction, if I may. One of the main reason for central vista is Security, reduce spending & traffic. 1. Many of the govt offices run from rented buildings which are spread out all throughout the capital city. Central vista will consolidate those offices in one area, thereby reducing the spending & ease the traffic flow. 2. Contrary to few comments, all relevant details (barring the ones relating to security, of course) of the project, including the estimated cost & schedule has been made public. An effort has to be made by the reader to obtain the details from the govt website. 3. Most importantly, Central Vista project is gaining popularity as more details have being made public. It's mainly the INC (the congress party) and its few allies who are not happy, which was expected. Infact the INC had approached the courts in an effort to stop the construction but the court did not agree with INC and gave unanimous consent for the continuation of the project.
*And also the government doesn’t own some buildings resulting in high rents and additional security expenses.government would save a lot on moving to the new parliament .one of the reasons why the congress opposes this project is cause most of the building which are rented to the government are owned by congress leaders*
Yeah because it's so hard to rent out buildings in prime properties in the heart of the capital of India lmao! You are a fool. People are against central vista project not only because of Covid-19 medical problems but also economic problems. And this economic problem is not because of only Covid-19 but also demonetization and many other blunders. Petrol prices are soaring high not because of international prices but because of high taxes imposed.
Spending money on construction during a crisis is a good thing... 1) it gives people jobs/ money 2) those buildings will last and be useful for dozens/ hundreds of years. Roads/ homes/ water/ powergrid infrastructure would be better than some fancy buildings for politicians, but it's better than doing nothing.
Central Vista ultimately is a political tool. Government could have invested the same amount in other public infrastructure but they did it with central Vista. Why? Because People won't remember the railways, school, hospitals or roadway projects but they will remember something significant like Central Vista redevelopment . Monuments r more memorable and sentimental than basic necessities

Infact the INC had approached the courts in an effort to stop the construction but the court did not agree with INC and gave unanimous consent for the continuation of the project.
how brainless the opposition could be? they are acting as if current ministers will live in those buildings their entire lifetime.
*And also the government doesn’t own some buildings resulting in high rents and additional security expenses.government would save a lot on moving to the new parliament .one of the reasons why the congress opposes this project is cause most of the building which are rented to the government are owned by congress leaders*
True !!..
Maybe also coz most of it is useless and waste of money and Do you have proof of your claim
Bro are u law student? Because This case had been discussed in our classes about rent part occupied by congress .
Yeah because it's so hard to rent out buildings in prime properties in the heart of the capital of India lmao!
If you have any idea about how India and especially Delhi NCR functions, it should be obvious even to a fool that there will be billionaires falling over each other to occupy those properties once the govt vacates those lands. They'll be willing to pay higher moolah in hard cash than any raggedy sarkaari daftar ever can or will. Being as close as possible to the central seat of power is how the game is played.
What amuses me more is that people like you even believe that the Congress of 2021 commands any kind of financial muscle compared to the BJP. They can't even pay a single media house enough to run one positive news story about them whereas the BJP can spend hundreds of crores of electoral bond cash to put Modi's face on every god damn square inch of public space in India. @@noco7243 I live in Vietnam, they rated my country as undemocratic, the internet is off limit to citizen, which my existence here without VPN invalidate it, and blatantly used Hong Kong protest pictures to show our "struggle". Thus, my point still stands, Freedom House is nothing but a tool for the US to label other countries and gain support from its population.
@@lehuy7306 The West has weaponized post-truth propaganda. The Americans say they want us to be allies with them, then stab us in the back using, as @NewKew put it, _"not a government organization but an independent organization that happens to be in the US"_ . These are the West's Instruments of cultural subversion and hybrid warfare with an inbuilt plausible deniability feature. Bloody hypocrites.
@@lehuy7306 those agency from West who are giving ratings all are funded by leftists govt and give ratings which suits them better that's why blacks lives matter trended their this shows how democratic and discriminative they are and lecture every country about these they are good only in papers 😂😂😂
I am sure that no Indian entity would have covered this topic in such great detail with pure focus on the project. Quality work. The scale of Nauseous negative minded coverage in India is evident when a non-Indian brings in fresh perspective of the larger picture.
It's waste of money for propaganda of a party 😔😔

@@VivekKumar-rb7zk hmm... After watching such a quality video, this is all you could think of.... Sorry state of mind bro.
@@VivekKumar-rb7zk if present and future govt can function better then this project is most needed. I might not agree with current govt but one thing is for sure they have putting things(infrastructure, policies and functionality) in order. The problem with bjp is their egoistic slyle of governing and pace is too high which creates momentary instability. If you have to say the same shit of Congress which is 90% untrue and brainless politics. Don't bother
@@VivekKumar-rb7zk You people still want your Colonial masters old building?
Thank for making this video. I knew that India is rebuilding this area of their capital. But I can't understand thw whole project because most of the news is in Hindi
One thing you should know is that the criticism of this project is realy lousy, and the critics themselves arent some angle and are corrupt at its least..
This must be neo's the worst video because he talks about ''democratic India'' while there is still CASTE SYSTEM in India even today!! Such a ''democracy'' that there are still slaves in the country working for peanuts, beaten, raped and killed, right?? I can never consider India as a democratic country as long as the caste system remains and i find other people considering so just wicked...
@@flowerbear_ Everybody should support this. It also will add extra Seats to Parliament, which is good for opposition parties to expand in new territory since there is room for representatives of people. And good for ruling governments in being more accurate in Representation. It’s a win win.
Although there are genuine criticism of the project. Especially on spending a lot for the museums which may seem like a waste. It also is a burden on Delhi tax payers.
India’s capital revitalization is fine but there can be issues that are fixed.
@@ggoddkkiller1342 hm. Id say the caste system is a tainted cultural leftover, much racists in the us. Its not as serious as japans anti immmigration but still prevalent.
We have problems but we are still a democracy man. Cheers!
