On official, Velonosaur Stalk (gen 2) gives 30,000 hex points base (can be increased by doing code red). Using a giga with a melee around 1,000% I can typically complete a velo stalk in about 5 minutes (including travel time back to the mission terminal). Definitely the fastest way of farming hex points. Not to mention it was a safe and easy hunt mission, with the only complication being when the hunt creatures spawn in the mesh. Dirty mesher velos >:( should get banned

gigas get more health per imprint than other creatures because it technically still has the wild 80k hp it just has the -62k as a constant modifier so when it gets the 20% buff it takes the 80k into account and gets 16k after a full imprint rather than 3.6k, this is also the case for reapers as in the wild they have over 40k and get a -30something thousand modifier

I haven't watched the whole video, but when you said you don't know why gigas get so much health, it is because the imrpint buff off the base HP. When you tame a wild giga, it has a modifier of -63k hp, so a wild giga of 80k-81k hp becomes 17k-18k. So a base 80k wild giga would tame to a 17k, but imprint 20% of 80k, so 16k hp, making the baby have 17k + 16k = 33k hp. This also applies to the melee damage, which has an additive of -80%, so you get more than 20% bonus on melee as well. This applies to all creatures with additives in stats, such as working on reapers as well, which have a base 45k and then subtract 38k hp.
Hey syntacThe best way I have found to gather hide, is the along came pollen mission on gen 1with a delicate theri, I get 40-50k per run on that, and it doesn't even take that long (do gamma. Doing beta or alpha won't give extra) Hope this helps with your constant hide grind 🙂 Use C attack obviously

Syntac you can farms tons of hide using good Therizino on Genesis 1 Bog Pollen gama mission. Just use alternative attack and drop junk when the inventory fills. You can get tens of thousands of hide in few minutes with no risk at all. Just put a strider connected to Tek storage next to mission and always unload into that so you do not need to transport it as 300 slots are not enough.
For a name, you could use Antares, which is the brightest star in the Scorpius constellation. It is also named after the ancient Greek god of war, Ares.

the best way to kill the savage acro. 8 stupidly high megalodons with god saddles, and you need to be riding a high level tuso. tip: watch out for the range attack on the acro.
I have found that the easiest way, bar super mutated gigas with 1k melee, to kill the titans on extinction, is to use astrodelphis. With two people you can kill a titan in less than 5 minutes, even shorter for the desert since its a flier.
Once you start breeding gigas you've officially won PvE. I fought the ice titan with three gigas and didn't even use my good ones, I rode one fully imprinted one and used two throwaways in case the titan was too strong, and even with those guys alone I took him down no problem
It's very hard for gigas to enrage nowadays so you'd be fine riding one against titans, also X and R gain 88 levels total, 73 levels for normal tames though

I think that there should be specific taming foods for specific stats at the expense of taming speed, like if I gave a giga mutton to tame it would have more health or more kibble it would have more melee, but they would probably have to make new items for it

Tribute transfer mod is amazing, allows you to pack up all those items normally not transferable and take them across maps ! Including element, shards, all the tributes, boss heads that wont go, and able to pack up multiple of the same artifact and take them as well.. Amazing mod, works great on my 15 map cluster.
Funny thing, I tamed the titans recently and found the forest titan to be the worst experience, and ice titan the best. You just gotta know when you have enough time to release a cannon shell into the ice titan's ankle and shoulder.
The mission with the Bone Trike that you have to hunt on Gen 1 is quite easy to do. You can leave your creatures inside the little cave where the trike spawns and run out on a quick mount avoiding all other dinos from the mission.

For a mutation video, I recommend you mutate the cryolophosaurus from ark additions. they look gorgeous, and just patrolling with a pack of them is wonderfully deadly, knocking everything in your path out.

For hide: breed mutated HP ovises, use a maxed chainsaw with max DMG on your character. I usually get around 500k hide each ovis. You can also not max your DMG character ofc, but it's a plus :D And yeah, mutating Stam doesn't worth at all. I did it and it's just meh lol but we did it because we wanted maxed Gigas in all the stats (except speed)
@Syntac. Gigas gaining exactly 10% melee per mutation is not weird. Gigas are one of the few creatures in game that do not get an after taming melee bonus, most dinos like rexes get a 17.6% boost to their melee with 100% taming effectiveness. As such giga melee goes up exactly like the wild stats, 5% per point in a stat, so 10% for a mutation as that is 2 points. Also, the reason gigas gain so much health with Imprint is because imprint alters the base stats of a dino *before any additions or subtractions* As such it actually works of the giga wild stats, so the 80k+ health, instead of the health after the 63k health nerf. So with 1.0 imprint which is a 20% stat boost it would boost the 80k to 96k health, then reduce it by 63k to 33k hp. The same applies to the melee, the imprint ignores the 80% substraction that gigas get. so with a giga that has 52 points in melee, it would have 360% melee, but that subtracted by 80% to 280% melee. the 20% stat boost of imprint affects the 360% melee however, boosting it by 360 x 1.2 = 432 % melee, then subtracting 80% to 352% melee imprinted.
I play on boosted unofficial where you raise Gigas under 10min and imprints on Gigas give you 60k health. And easiest Hunt mission is Velonasaur Stalk. They have so much low health.

Gigas have a huge health bonus because the imprint goes off of the stats before the taming "bonus" that reduces their health when tamed.

Best hunt mission is the Gen 2 Velona Hunt, like 3 min per run and 30k points, on Gen 1 might be the rock golem one, gigas do extra dmg
You can actually soul ball the titans, doesnt make any sense but it works

Is it viable to leave a pack of gigas on aggressive with Dino leash in the corrupted scar zone as a hide farm?
you would have to place something over the leash so it doesn't get destroyed as easily

Also, the reason gigas gain so much health with Imprint is because imprint alters the base stats of a dino *before any additions or subtractions* As such it actually works of the giga wild stats, so the 80k+ health, instead of the health after the 63k health nerf. So with 1.0 imprint which is a 20% stat boost it would boost the 80k to 96k health, then reduce it by 63k to 33k hp.
The same applies to the melee, the imprint ignores the 80% substraction that gigas get. so with a giga that has 52 points in melee, it would have 360% melee, but that subtracted by 80% to 280% melee. the 20% stat boost of imprint affects the 360% melee however, boosting it by 360 x 1.2 = 432 % melee, then subtracting 80% to 352% melee imprinted.
alpha rock golem is super easy and quick with a high melee giga, just dont get hit by his boulder

What kind of settings do you need (mating, hatching, growing, etc) to get a good mutation farm going?
I play on boosted unofficial where you raise Gigas under 10min and imprints on Gigas give you 60k health. And easiest Hunt mission is Velonasaur Stalk. They have so much low health.
I'm only curious now, what happened to ultimate ark?
