The rolled up thing on your saddle is a spare saddle blanket it's a piece of cloth that you put underneath the saddle when you settle the horse to prevent sore from forming from the friction of the saddle moving on their back it can also be used in times of need to cover the rider so yeah it's kind of like a sleeping bag but it's more than likely a spare saddle blanket made of leather

I play on some boosted unofficial servers so I almost never make knockout ammo. I us a high level bred mantis with some OP wooden clubs. I immediately thought about a 254 melee mantis when I got the notification for this video. Would love to see it happen.
3:50 I don't know if you already do this in the rest of the video, but when I'm working with large numbers of animals of the same species and I need to change all their behavior, like turning mating on for 20 horses, I use the copy all settings feature. You set one horse for the behaviors you want and you can tell it to copy all settings to nearby horses. So when you've got 20 babies flying across your barn you can set them all at once to have the same settings as the adults. Imagine setting 30 animals to Disable ally Looking, Follow distance low and Ignore group whistles all at once instead of doing this for each animal.
Well I've done it. It just watched the whole playlist and I'm now up to date 140+ episode have entertained me as I've played along. Incredible stuff Syntac!

As a guy who bred up and capped the melee point on a basilisk (thanks to the krakens better dinos mod). I can say my basilisk does over twice the torpor per bite. I believe upto 6-7k ish torpor? And 3k+ ish actual damage. Around 60 levels into melee. So not even fully leveled.
Have been using horses to knock things out since day one of ark xD handy tip I have learnt from an old timer. No farming needed. Just simple tame up on rag after the note run and everything is urs :P
Name suggestion for the horse: Dead Ringer It's an old slang term used in horse racing to refer to a horse that is presented under "a false name and pedigree." Thought it would be neat to use because of all the crazy mutations thrown in!
I'm sure you know having used S+ and the number of hours you have in game. And I'm sure it's more for the vanilla experience of breeding. But if you wanted to save yourself some time, use the S+ mutator and set up two right next to each other. Get the 2/2 bonus for laying or giving birth to mutated creatures and you'll save probably like an entire week. As single mutations = +4 points, I have yet to get a double to see if it would be +8, maybe one day. It also can swap gender of dinos that got a mutation you wanted but were female. And then of course it can grow the baby so fast so you it can replace its father all for the low cost of a little element. Love your content and hope this cluster has some fun stuff coming up!
If you want to mutate large numbers of big dinos like gigas, all you gotta do is chuck out the females when they are babies and they will grow up inside each other and you can fit 60 of them in the space that would normally hold like 2 adults.
Yay Finally some that mutate the ultimate horse :) I have been trying to get good mutations on horses on official for a few years. It goes very slow lol. the gestation used to be 13 hours. its not that long it have been down to 8 hours. and the breeding cooldown is around 2 real days. but have got a horse and He can take out rex and spinos so far. The R-Equus is so beautiful
I did this once on a modded server. I specialized in special horse breeds for whatever you needed. My "war horse" had alright weight and speed but it had like 10k in kicking and like 25k health. I regularly used it to knock out gigas and rexes
all you gotta do to make it stop running is leave render and then immediately turn around and come back, although not sure you could do enough torpor fast enough that way.
Yes. I've put 80 melee mutations into mantis. With good swords and the availability of high armor saddles, they're boss killers. They're great in the Tek Cave and for defending OSDs/element veins (in Single player). They're fast and maneuverable, though their HP isn't great, hence the absolute necessity of the extreme saddles.
The thing that would make this a lot easier would actually be the candy, sadly it changed your Dino's colors but 5%-15% movement speed helps out a lot when you can't level speed
