The Sims 2 had more animations and more quality for romance than the other games. I remember when I would make sims make out on the couch, the animation for that was so damn smooth.
Not that I don't absolutely adore the rest... But I fast forwarded alllllll the way to 12:49 because I'm OBSESSED with that stupid clip Everytime it came on 😂

oh hands down. the newer games look terrible. the quality and authenticity just went down hill.. the animations are rediculous.. at least this game is more accurate. like making out, getting out of bed, chopping veggies for food, etc.

You can see other mistakes and also signs of corruption During that talk show with that black women (why do I think that's a parody on Oprah Winfrey) there are some flashing blue rectangulars somewhere and a sims had a "distorted text thought bubbel" (sign of corruption, according to Simswiki)
Some of these are hysterical lol, even if just for the totally over-the-top narration. The one with the guy kicking the lawn ornaments was always hilarious to me, especially with the totally unfitting smooth jazz music with it haha
I'm watching Queer Eye and on S4E3 around five minutes in the song at 25:14 started playing in the bg and I was sure it was from ts2 so I spent like half an hour looking for confirmation and I finally found it!!
