A second look with more detail on how I DCC'd this turntable.
Note, this is different from how the manual says to do it. Kato's method might work OK too. As demonstrated, this method works too.

Once again I will share my experience, whereby there is no need for a reverser to wire this for DCC: As long as all the tracks (stub and as many entrance tracks as you have) are powered ... there is no need for the Kato Green power cord to be connected at all, and therefor the Kato bridge direction lever can stay in the neutral position. The bridge will take its power from whichever track is aligned (regardless of engine direction of travel). The flat ribbon connector controls turntable rotation only. Your DCC throttle will control the engine in normal fashion even when on the bridge with no shorting or need to use the Kato direction lever.

Thanks for demonstrating this. Now, Kato needs to make this in HO Scale!

Thank you for posting this video. Your set up in a test loop is similar to what I did with the Kato turntable and NCE Power Cab. The wiring approach I used was far less expensive and less complex with no additional items such as the MRC part.

Hello friend, a very good video. Thank you very much. A while ago I bought one of these and had not managed to have the time to install it. It is second hand. Unfortunately, although the motor works, the plate does not turn. Apparently it was disarmed and they knew how to reassemble it. Do you have a sector diagram of the gears to help me see what is wrong? Thank you very much.

Why does the auto-reverse module tick all the time? Even when it goes through the "empty" paths. Is this supposed to be this way?
Or it the ticking sound coming from the turntable?

This particular model has a mechanical relay...
Full digital models would be mute.

Yeah, but what sort of shorts does it detect here? Why is it triggered at all?

The clicking is the Turntable as it passes each track.....it is not the auto reverser.
