Kinda tired with how Korean view everything as competition. Their ultra-competitive attitude is really annoying.

The thing that suck about this is that when Jrock or Jmetal started to gain popularity around globe, Korean music promoters comes up with some plastic shitty Jrock wanna be Jrock groups like rock ready existed in Korean duh. Korea is pop not Rock. Have you guys ever heard any Korean rock group in 80's or 90's? Rock music scene in Japan started in late 60's and it is now 3rd generation of Rockers are making noise. This is why there are so many known Rock musician in Japan. In Korea? None. When they see an opportunity to make money, they do anything to promote and comes up with video like this. We want them to stay away but, they are like money hungry parasites. Agree, they are really annoying. Stay fuck away from Jrock.

old schooler here, Band Maid beats anything I have ever heard in over 50 years of music listening, they are just that good.
I have to feel sorry for A-Fati here because while they're not bad the poster put them in a competition with the best hard rock band on the planet-male or female. Even England and the US don't have a male hard rock band like them today, and I'm old school. Band-Maid are THAT good.
I love old school hard rack, tesla, old def leppard and harder stuff but i think you nailed it BANDMAID is the best!

You need to keep pace. It's been a helluva week under the latest vids. I almost made one old fart throw a blood clot. Bunch o' fanboys coming to his rescue. One threatened me. I had to delete a hilarious joke - because of the dangerous way he misconstrued it. Lil' bastard. Band Maid has the most deplorable fanbase imaginable. No wonder these girls drink. And by the look on her face at their most recent concert - I'd say Miku has even taken to smoking crack!

The world needs more rock! It's refreshing to see a Korean rock band instead of the usual look alike and sound alike K-pop groups but you don't simply compare any rock group to Band-Maid. Sorry A-FATI.

Both bands started their activities at almost the same time, but according to my research, the band A-Fati disbanded in 2016. Band-Maid, on the other hand, is still very active and is scheduled to perform in the United States and at US rock festivals "Welcome to Rockville", "Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival" and "Pointfest" in May 2023, which is a big gap between the two bands.
Do you think why is there such a big gap between the two bands?

That's a good point. Fati are a good rock band, I'd go see them if they came to town. But they also sound like 1000 others. Band-Maid have world class songwriting AND world class musicianship. But it's the songs and their unique sound that really stand out, even more that the virtuoso musicianship.
D S band maid sounds very similar to music I grew up listening to in America . I just want to point that out as an American who listen to rock and metal there whole life .and that other band a-fati just sounds like pure garbage .

The Bassist in the Japanese band is Very Interesting Musician.
Reference: I am a Finn. Metal, Punk and Hard Rock are mainstream music genres in Finland. Generally speaking, any music with no edge will not make it into charts in Nordic countries. Ever.
However I do not speak neither Korean nor Japanese language. It could be, The Lyrical Content takes the decisive stand and nominates The Winner!

A-FATI is not particularly features such as this, are numerous and rumbling in the amateur in Japan if this degree of girl band. And still also shapes the whole face, not only in this extent, is expressionless as a result, to BAND-MAID, it is a beautiful cute everyone even if not well-formed face, ability is also far surpasses than South Korea.
