I have to say Dorian, has anybody told you that you sound like Scott from 4D Tech? You should watch one of his videos and you will see what I'm talking about lol.
Thank you for the video. Unfortunately I had to pay to have this done like 3 yrs ago. It cost me around $200 to $250 bucks. I am having an issue now with the ac. I think it may need a charge.
Thank god this worked for me. Also his front plate thing just comes off, it's not attached to the radio but if you have the stock radio, once you take the radio out, you will need to remove four screws, two on either side of the radio, and unclip a connector so you can detach the front plate thing from the radio. Also !!! there is another screw to take off the radio. 3:07 There are the two bottom ones, but there is also a 10mm one you can access from underneath the steering wheel. It's hard to see, you will see a metal bar with two nuts on it, it's deeper than that to the right. You can reach your hand in there to try and feel for it because it's very hard to see.

Great video, do you have one of the radio install?
Does this work the same way for stock 2004 Rx8 center console? Or I need to pull out the whole center radio together with the face plate?
You have to remove the whole faceplate and radio
What is it when the lights stop working on it do I need to get a new one?
Is there any replacement motherboard links incase the soldering doesn’t work?
Junkyard or ebay for climate control faceplate.
My Rx8 just started to throw hot air in one vent and cold on another, few weeks pass and then both hot, would this be a solution to my problem?

Metra double din comes with an adapter to make sure the LCD screen still works
