      kyo ki n type semiconductor me conduction band me valence band ke holes ke mukable me jyada electrons hote hai..

      You can get all topic wise notes in the description of the video sessions whose links are given in the following pdf. PPTs are copywrite material so I do not share.. but you can go through the notes.. drive.google.com/file/d/1lpLUp98zHCSMMtiEuvQUUl5p7LZskkyj/view?usp=sharing

      If you are looking for First Year Engineering Contents then you can use these notes - drive.google.com/file/d/1Ikw8Z0T6GRiRNnNOcjAK5Awprm0m9pXt/view?usp=sharing
      If you want to study semiconductors physics in detail, then refer to Solid State Electronics Devices by B. G. Streetman or Introduction to Solid State Physics by Kittel

    Why Fermi level is always a dotted line ?
    This was a question in PhD interview. Can u please ans this

    • @EngineeringPhysicsbySanjiv
      @EngineeringPhysicsbySanjiv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is not specific reason to represent Fermi Level with dotted lines. This is done just for identification in diagram without confusing it with other levels..

      @@EngineeringPhysicsbySanjiv in an energy state represented by continues line either electron or hole can made it to exist. It means those are energy states where electrons and holes can be seen. But Fermi leve speaks the probabilities and so represented by doted lines. It means that if there is no energy state at Fermi level then you cannot see any charges there.
