  • I took attended a Dermalogica Digital Event a few months ago and learned THIS trick about the Microfoliant. Did you know that the more foam, the more effective??
    Let me know if you try this out! #dermalogica #dermalogicaskincare #dailymicrofoliant #dermalogicamicrofoliant #skincare #skincaretips #skincarehacks

If this is the case then why doesn’t it state that on the instructions? Plus I’d imagine the granules are what actually exfoliates the surface of the skin. I’ve used it that way with no problems and my skin has never been better 🤷🏼‍♂️

I was too but during the seminar they said you get double/stronger exfoliation by foaming it! Because it’s meant to be a chemical and physical exfoliant! If you’ve been using it like that and it’s worked, definitely keep doing what you’re doing! 😊

I'm about to graduate from a Dermalogica partnered school.. they've stressed from day one that if it's not foamy, it's not doing what it's supposed to do. We use it in almost every treatment. It took a few tries for me to get the perfect consistency but when I finally did, it made the biggest difference. When you have it whipped up, you potentiate the active ingredients & they perform better. It's part of a customizable exfoliation system, but I don't think you can get the chemical enhancers (Multivitamin Power Exfoliant & Exfoliant Accelerator 35/EA35) unless you're a student/professional. The whipping is just a part of their whole exfoliation system. It's supposed to leave skin feeling soft, polished, & should never irritate or be drying. You're supposed to have a little grain, but it shouldn't feel like a scrub. Guarantee you'll get better results if you try it for a while.
