    The dermalogica ultracalming range is great for my rosacea prone skin. I went back to using cheap skin care for financial reasons and oh my goodness, do I regret it. The daily micro exfoliamt is brilliant but so many people don't know how to use it.

The new milkfoliant is food for dry skin but not enough grit 😭😅 there are other exfoliants in other brands I love like control corrective, but when prescribing to my clients daily microfoliant is what I prescribe a lot of them .

      Hi! Which niacinamide are you referring to? Is it the professional use ionactive? If so it’s 100% not for daily home use. And please don’t purchase the professional products from 3rd party sellers because they might not be authentic.

    • @Sophie_theesthetician
      @Sophie_theesthetician  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it should not. It’s good for oily skin because it has oil loving and water loving properties, meaning it’ll grab oils but also rinse off clean with water. Then you should follow up with a water based cleanser anyway, so that should remove any residue.

    • @Sophie_theesthetician
      @Sophie_theesthetician  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So the way they recommend is to mix the microfoliant with water first, then add a pump of cleanser to that mixture. Did you try that method? If so, I don’t think it would hurt to use a bit less!

    Do you really want to remove all of the natural sebum? And how to add the hydration back. I dont use make up so can I skip precleanser. Advice needed from creator or dermatologist ONLY

    • @Sophie_theesthetician
      @Sophie_theesthetician  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The right amount and type of cleansing will not remove ALL your natural serum- just the excess on the surface. It all depends on your skin type and condition. I recommend using a serum and/or moisturizer after cleansing. It can still be good to use Precleanse even if you don’t wear makeup. Dermalogica recommends it for everyone for removing surface and oil based debris, but I wouldn’t make it your first priority if you don’t have a solid cleansing + moisturizing routine already.

    I got a small bottle of the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant to use just under my lip area and the corners of my nose. Can I use this Daily in the PM? I'm also not sure where to use it routine wise. Last night I did my Oil Cleanser on just certain areas, cleaned off those twos areas, used the Microfoliant on those spots after I patted dry unless damp is ok, and followed up with my moisturizer. I also apply another layer of my moisturizer at night once the other has soaked in. Unsure if that's ok to do or just apply it to my cheeks that are dry at night? I don't do it AM.
