In This Animal Sculpture Timelapse I am carving a block of Brazilian Soapstone into a Grizzly Bear. I provide Artist Commentary In this video to walk you through the entire process from the first cuts all the way through into sanding and polishing.

Thank you for talking thru what your doing. You're one of the only ones I've found that carve with rotary tools. Which is awesome to me as a metal artist. Where do you buy your carving wheels?

Thanks for the comment. I buy my carving blades from a company called neolithic stone but haven't bought there in a while. Also bought a few off Amazon. There are also a couple companies that focus on stone tools which you can buy from as well.

Hey when I'm carving I'm using a respirator mask with a face shield, but after carving I still feel a slight difference in breathing. Is it that way with you ?
