I love walking through the antique shops with you! I see things that use to be in my past also. Oh the memories! Thank you Jami for taking us along.😊❤❤❤
Hi Jami just what you needed on a Saturday to relax and unwind with nostalgia and memories. Thanks for bringing us along too. Have a fab day take care much love God bless loved the live last night too. 💕🙏👢
Jamie, my sister retired and came back to Florid and built a home next-door to her sister-in-law who is a master quilter! She started with what they call a jelly roll quilt and said it was super simple to put together. Great starter quilt. Can’t wait to see what you create when you start quilting… Just know it’s addictive!😊❤️
Wish I could have been there with you & able to walk through that vintage store with you. Love me some antiques. Some of the stuff that you had shown brought back a lot of old memories from my childhood.
Jami what a fun day! Thanks for taking us along. Love all the vintage things they too take me back to my childhood. So fun! Can’t wait until you go back. Love you Jami! ❤️
Good morning Jami. That was fun exploring historic Huntsville TX. Antique shops can be fun to see how the people lived back in the days. The merry go round horses were great to see I used to love riding that ride and the store horses where you put in a $.25 and pull on the reins to make it go faster if that part worked. The rides I used to dream of on them and where I would go. The blue and white pyrex dishes many members of family and family friends had all different sizes of the bakeware dishes and now what they are worth if you had some. Button boxes/tins we had one huge cookie tin full and had kept them for many years but when we moved for the 4th time I finally got rid of them. It was a fun trip and thank you for taking me along. I love historic plaques, buildings and reading about the times back then. HAGD.
Love all that stuff Jami. My sister and I were dealers once upon a time and I collect vintage china, milk glass and pressed glass from the turn of the century and all things equestrian. Buy the things that you love and display them grouped together, but the most important thing is USE them as your every day items. They were created to be used. Also, you can rotate your displays every 6 months or so by just putting some things away and bringing some things back out. Those jars of buttons can be hot glued to picture frames or wooden boxes. Live with the things you love surrounding you because you love them.

Oh Jami thank you for taking us along on your day out. So many flashbacks. I had that doll house, the metal fridge. Alot of good memories in that antique store.

That was fun Jami! Thank you for taking us along with you. Going to vintage stores, antique shops, and estate sales are some of my favorite past times, so this was great! I do hope you bought that trophy. It would be perfect for Prom!!! (BTW - I liked dress #2 and #8. The feathered one was nice, too) Thanks again for the fun excursion Jami! 💜🐾🐾💜
I love when you take us on these trips. Reminded me of my little downtown area. Its slowly being built up and it makes me sad. My mama sold Avon when I was little. So many memories came up watching this morning.
Jami I had always wanted to do Quilting too. I had not done any sewing since I was a teenager and that was just basic at the best of times. My daughter in law was a talented and creative seamstress who ran her own online business. I talked about wanting to sew again a lot watching the creative things she made. One day she showed up on my doorstep with a secondhand sewing machine for my 58th birthday which was still weeks away she also gave me a bundle of fabrics from her stash. I was so excited like a kid in a candy shop. I decided then and there that I was going to make a quilt for my young granddaughter (her daughter). I watched some videos on you tube to get the basics, worked out my pattern a very simple one and off I went it took me about a month, but I made it, was it perfect... No.... was it difficult ..... at times, but I made it. My granddaughter loved it regardless because her Nannie made it for her.
Wow just wow. Truly a blast from the past for me and I’m 58. I love when you walk through and video places like that. I hope you bought that trophy 😂. That would be funny. ❤
I love going into the antique stores and wandering and looking and yes picking up things that bring back memories of my past and seeing things that I still have and what the sell for now. I have vintage Pyrex, (I was married in 1971 and got as presents) Green 4 piece bowl set, 4 piece containers with lids , no chips and I still use them! Also blue emblem Pyrex. Also green glassware. It is so fun to just wander! Thanks for taking us along, I wish I was there in person with you!🤗💖😂
All that beautiful xeriscaping at the title company; saves water. A livery is an "inn" for the horses. Do you have plans to show us Livingston? I've decorated in an old timey era; makes me feel happy. A workman once asked me if my mom lived with me...because of the furniture style, artwork and accessories - nope, just me!
Thanks Jami for the trip to Huntsville and the antique shop. That was really awesome. So many things from my past. I have the Sellar cupboard and many things from the past. I also quilt.
I’m so envious of you. This is exactly how I would choose to spend my day. I too love vintage things and I LOVE a dollhouse with furniture. I never had one but always wanted one❤ YES Jami you need a SHE SHED to decorate in vintage things AND a vintage bed
I’m 66 now, but I went to Margret Mitchell’s house a couple of years ago. Well, the dwelling that was built on plot where her house burned down and restored in her name at least. At any rate, I walked in and the nostalgic feeling of my Grandmother was overwhelming. She was born in 1918. 40s decor was the same in Chicago as Atl. The sinks didn’t have cabinets beneath them. Curtains framed out sink. Supplies kept under. I felt that to my core.
I love your day trips. I can't walk very far or very long anymore and I needed to get out and about with you. It was perfect and I can't wait for more!!! Thank you Jami ❤ I wish you would have gotten the MOST EXTRA trophy for prom
Thank you for sharing, I got choke up and with tears even, I had hand me downs, now they are worth so much more. we never kept stuff, But that's ok too.

I loved this. I suffer with panic attacks and anxiety just going out. I'm trying to push myself to get out more. But I do love going grocery shopping yea I know I'm weird. Those little shops are so cute. Thanks for taking me with you.
I too suffer from anxiety and panic attack disorder. I am on medication for it but still have problems from November through January. I have learned the things that set me off and try to avoid them the best I can. I carry backup medicine to calm me down in case I have issues while out. It's funny but for me, going to an antique store really helps me if I am in a crisis from big store shopping. The antiques take my mind off my anxiety I guess. If leaving the house is your fear then that is agoraphobia but sounds like you are doing so much better. My doctor has been a great help . If you don't have a good doctor to help you, try a new one. Not all of them are good fits. Hang in there. Hope you get to a few good antique stores this year ❤
I had those Disney books! This whole walk reminds me of my mom n dad. I miss them so much. I have baby shoes that grow tiny succulents in a pot my mom had. That first plant you didn’t know what it was is called A Mother Of Thousands. It drops babies and spreads.
Yesss! Let's go back there. And spend the whole day. I absolutely love these adventures! Beautiful Town too. Please be careful walking around by yourself. ❤❤
I laughed when you said, "I need another house, just to decorate ." You could be the next Paw paw, just build another out building.😅😅😅 That way, you could step into different eras. [ Like Taylor Swift] And just move your Zoom calls daily. 😅😅😅 Cool video! Thanks for taking us along. That plant you loved, I believe, Lester planted at your front gate. Yours is just larger.
Coffee with Jami was a call to action. Let me know when you are ready for a quilting lesson. I can load up a car with fabric, sewing machine…etc with all things quilting to get you started. I know I will have to make a trip to Huntsville. Loved your video! 🤗❤️
Hello Jami, thanks so very much for taking us on your field trip today!!! That was really some fun antique stores. Thanks again. Love you. Enjoy your blessed day XXXO 💕😁
I’ve felt many times I’ve been born in the wrong era too. I love the old vintage things, the style and the colours! I would rather have old things than new!
When I saw the boot-shaped glass in one of your videos the other day, it brought back a lot of memories. My parents had two or three of them. If I remember correctly they used to be sold at Christmas markets. Usually with grog in them. They sometimes also had the boots in the supermarket around December 6th, with candy in them. That was in the early 1990's though. I have not seen them in ages. My mom used to collect buttons as well. There are some pretty creative things, like making pictures out of them, that you can find online. I think I also fell in love with the song that played right before your phone died. I have no idea who sings it but it sure sounded beautiful. Anyhow, thanks for taking us along.
I am the same way Jami. I am old and I still love things older than me. I love all of the colored glass and old dishes and old dolls are my favorite. If I could get through places like that with a walker. I would love to spend all day, but I know I couldn’t get through the aisles first of all and would have to buy everything that I ended up breaking!
Jami, that is my husband's and my favorite thing to do. We love going to thrift stores too. We see things that our parents had and things that we had years ago. It brings back so many memories. We went to the thrift stores in Livingston and found some nice treasures. If we make it back to Texas I definitely want to go to Huntsville. When I think of Huntsville all I have thought about is the prison! Now I see that it is so much more. BTW, when you were in the first store I saw a dish shaped like a butterfly that was black and white checked. I thought of Lou and thought it would be a nice little gift for her birthday or Christmas.
Thanks for taking me with you on your antiquing adventure. I had a great time Jami! I'd love to go back with you when you return. I'm glad you took some time for yourself. Love you❤
I’m loving this video! I am enjoying shopping with you. Oh my goodness! Velvet doll!!! ❤️ I had Velvet and my older sister had Chrissy! Appropriate because Chrissy was a redhead like my sister, and I was a towhead like Velvet. Thank you for bringing that memory back. I was just fascinated that her hair could grow! 😂😂 I actually think I still have her somewhere. 😂
Jami... Thank you for the Field trip to Huntsville. Loved seeing the things from my past as well. I lived in Alabama, now Washington state. I enjoy you're outings.

Those ponies were awesome! ❤️. Love the idea of repurposing old trophies!
Thank you Jami for this awesome trip. I used to visit these kinds of places when I was younger. Wish I could have been there with you!🤠💕
I enjoyed shopping at antique stores. Thank you for so many fond memories.
Jamie that last vintage store was huge and I really can't wait for the next one. Thank you for taking us along.
I’m not mobile right now, Jami, so thank you for taking me walking with you! I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Take us with you again❣️
I love them horses they are beautiful ❤️
I love seeing all the antiques. That looked like a lot of fun.
I totally enjoyed this trip to the antique stores. I don’t get out much anymore, so this was a treat ❤ Thank you Jamie ❤
Oh my gosh Jami, you and I would have a blast roaming around the Antique stores together.
I love Vintage stores till I realize a lot of the "vintage" things are what I grew up with!❤😢
The collander would make a beautiful planter!! I love both stores!! Thanks for taking me along!!
Love you❤
I love walking through antique stores ❤. Jami you could turn your loft area into your office / studio/ den / getaway. That would be perfect !
Jami, you and I would have so much fun on field trips like this. I absolutely love to go antiquing. It’s the only kind of shopping I truly love doing
That is so cool! Loved the antique things… I used a bunch of them too when I was young!! ❤😊❤
OMGosh I earned 3 of those musical composer busts from my piano teacher when I was 8! What great memories!!
Jami…I kept hoping that you would take us inside the fabric store! I am a quilter also!
Thank you for the shopping. I love looking for special items. When I go with you I can sit while looking
I love that store. There's so much beautiful vintage stuff. All I can see is the dusting nightmare that goes along with it. 😄
Jami... Thank you for the Field trip to Huntsville. Loved seeing the things from my past as well. I lived in Alabama, now Washington state. I enjoy you're outings.
That was so much fun! Thanks for taking us along Jami!
Jami you find the coolest places. Thank you so very much for taking me along. I always said that I was born in the wrong era. I loved going along with you because it brought back such great memories for me. Thanks again.
