I have an issue with the 15-45mm when taking photos: it simply won't autofocus. Is it because I have ML installed (even though ML is set to launch only when I hold the SET button)? I have gone though all the settings, both in ML and in the original Canon menu; whatever option is on, I can't single point autofocus, only constant AF works (both photo and movie as well as in ML). I hate constant AF and bought the 15-45 to single point AF scenes in photo mode (as well as video), to be able to be a bit faster than manual focusing, as I have been doing with the 7artisans 25mm. Does ML completely ruin single point AF or is it maybe not supported yet? Thank you for your clarifications if you have any idea…

I recently tried this method but my EOS M only seems to accept .pf2 picture profiles. I cannot import .pf3 through the EOS Utility. They won't show in the file explorer when trying to import them. Any idea why?? Thanks!

@@lumingateyes. i have a question, when I try to use the camera mode with my EOS M, the screen is super dark (the pics come out fine)and I can't really nail focus in one go resulting in blurry images, do you have a work around for that? or maybe there's something I'm doing wrong
The photo's you are showing side by side, are these fuji vs canon shots, or standard picture profile vs the custom picture profile? Thx for the great video btw. I'm experimenting with custom profiles myself. But my images are very pixelated when I import them in the editor. So pretty much impossible to make a profile that way.
Yeah they are canon custom profile vs Fuji classic chrome I think. Maybe check your image size settings. Or it could be if it’s a raw photo your computer is lagging?????

Do you prefer to bypass ML when taking photos or use it with ML? And accepting manuel mode
In 5k mode I can use auto focus to get my shots so you can just switch over to photo and use it!
Can I download them from a tablet? You load them by wire connect or SD card.?

I have one of these that is been in a cupboard for ages. I have been trying to find an XT30ii, but waiting as there looks to be new ones.
Needless to say I have just got my canon m3 out of the cupboard and about to play around with the picture profiles and download the collections.
Have you tried? and does this work for Canon M3? I happened to want to pickup Fuji camera, but i love EOS M3 versatility
