Always enjoyable to go back to basic black and white films. The only query is the same. So much expense for a beautiful colorful film and only have b/w to shoot it in. So be it. And thank God that we had those.
What? Another Wong movie where the police captain acts like an ass, braying through every scene? You have to love these old movies, though, where the female reporter substitutes for a nurse for the doctor at the "Receiving Hospital", as if it's the norm even back then.
