IPS D. Sivanandhan has been a former Maharashtra DGP who was once the Chief of the Mumbai Crime Branch in the late 90s. During his tenure, 238 gangsters from several gangs, including, Chhota Rajan, and the Abu Salem gang, were killed in the encounter. He is someone who is known for destroying the Mumbai underworld on the basis of his insane leadership abilities.

Here’s the thing, the best was done at that particular time. No one thought it would have happen. Decisions were made when people were in shock. Entire Mumbai came together, police, Anti terror squad, paramedics, hospitality and people!! It’s easy to say looking back, I would have done better. But the best was done at that particular point of time.
He is a bloody IPS, man. He knows what he's talking about. Just look at the details he's mentioning...those are not free ka gyaans
Now it's easy to say that this could have been handled better. That night was so terrifying and scary, if at that time someone asked you to step out of the house and handle the situation, you would have peeed in your pants.
Offcourse but because of that incident they are aware now and will be able to take more accurate decisions
Watching this complete podcast has broaden my mindset in many different sectors which I have never thought of or about topics where i had a very typical opinion. I'll be in my 20's soon, these things are definitely gonna help me. Thanks a lot Sir and Beerbiceps 🙂🤝
