Small correction Sir, the Naxalbari movement started in late ‘60s. Specifically, 25th May 1967, when police fired and killed several tribals and farmers near the village called Naxalbari in North Bengal. The poor farmers never heard about Communism and class struggle. The Statesman newspaper first coined the term Naxalites. Soon, this movement was hijacked by the extreme left wing of the Communist party, led by an intellectual named Charu Majumdar, who extolled the brilliant Bengali student community to pick up arms against the state. Many were killed on both sides. By 1972, the prime movement was beaten to a pulp by Siddharth Shankar Roy government.

It's a population of people that never considered themselves indians and were forced to be Indians by elites since the Indian independence. Remember, it's not democracy if it's forced!!!! moreover the self declared masiahs of adivasis are exploiting them even more by enforcing the laal salam ideology , i am also a resident of this naxal affected area where these self proclaimed fighters are destroying any kind of developement made by the government to leap up the adivasies . The only ground reality which is clearly evident here is that in the name of this blood-sucking ideology the adivasis are being abandoned from the basic developement they need to cope up and these naxals are getting benefitted by their urban fathers joyously . This is the biggest social cancer in the name of ideology.
