Never knew UN was created by the allies to declare war on Germany! And Jawaharlal Nehru rejected permanent membership for India 😢 WHY? Thanks for bringing Abhijeet Chavda sir because I love his videos! So informative!
JLN didn't join because he didn't want to hurt the Chinese as he wanted good relations with them. And he didn't want to be part of a certain block. He thought getting into UN would mean bowing to the West which he was not willing to do as he was a socialist and was inspired by USSR model of governance. All idealism with nothing to show on paper. Read about India's Krishna Menon's 8 hour long record speech in the UN giving Gyan to world, while half our population was starving. Our early post independence leaders were so high on idealism I find it stupid. Like history shows that Indian nation has lost all major wars because we were technologically inferior and these guys straight after independence cut the defence budget due to which we lost the war in 62.
It was a mistake. If you dont join the game when rules are being made, you have to play the game by rules you dont like. UNSC since then selected taiwan n then replaced it with PRC in 1970s. So basically they can do whatever they want. Would be nice if India had that kind of power. China paid back chutya Nehru's hindi-chini bhai bhai by attacking n genociding tibetians n then attacking India. This led to collapse of India-led Non Aligned Movement.

Request you to make an episode on "Lost books of India" . There are countless number of books that have lost in time , Many have there near translation but only on dark sites you could find their 50 year old publishing. One amongst them is "Medicine book" which was written by person name "Mangaraya" which was 300 year old even before dalwin. ex : He had documented of various snakes that are there in south India ( Karnataka ) how to identify them and if bitten what to do in the terms of "Sloka" and belive me these are twisters and my known friends haven't even seen or heard about the pronouncement.
It is only podcasts like these that have made me watch this channel off and on. Otherwise I don't think I would ever want to listen to a Jahnvi Kapoor podcast. I am sure there are many viewers for those podcasts as well, but I personally not find those ones intellectual stimulating. This one is a great one to listen to. Credit goes to this guy talking with such clarity.
