Hi Scott! Another awesome video, looks like you had a very comfortable flight. Those are a very big pillow and blanckett. Good to hear they were comfortable and you got some good sleep! Those are some great views of downtown NYC during take off, just breathtaking! Breakfast looks alright, nothing too special. The landing in San Diego is as always beautiful.

Whenever there's too many pillow blankets/ too little room, I just shove it all in the overhead bin until I need it. That's the nice thing about premium cabins, you get the same amount of overhead storage but a lot more room because a lot less passengers. Anyways, another great video!

I enjoyed my flight crew and my flight deck crew on my flight from LAX-HND in 2017! But my least favorite after landing was the jet bridge mishap when disembarking in HND.. I guess the flight crew heard my fall and were very attentive! And I also had the same crew going back home from HND-LAX..

Thanks! It’s interesting that you ask, because I’m still trying to figure out the best way to do the voiceover. 😅 What I’ve been doing is loosely editing the footage, recording the voiceover, and then modifying my edited footage to better match the voiceover. 😂 I definitely need a lot more practice with this, and I hope it’ll get easier as time goes on.

While I fully acknowledge that there is nowhere to put that full size pillow and blanket, I absolutely LOVE that Delta offers them in D1. It makes getting comfortable so so easy, as you experienced! I'm also a big fan of gender-neutral amenity kits. It's 2018! I don't want a kit with products that some random JetBlue employee decided was what men should be using. Great video Scott!

Watching another video before bed. These trip reports are so addicting!
10:40 You should have said Enough of me yappin', it's time for the landing!
Otherwise a really nice video. You help me become a better avgeek and understand how airline seating class works. At first, I had no clue what a "reverse herringbone seat" was, or what the difference between a "staggered" and "standard" business configuration was. All I knew was first, biz, eco. I would, however, cut back on the takeoff video. Just show the spool up, power down, and maybe some snippets of the view with some nice snappy music behind.
Rice pudding is also one of the best dishes on the planet. When I was a baby, I used to be severely allergic to glucose. So instead of having ice cream, I would want rice cream. Rice cream is simply ice cream made with rice. Very simple.
Delta is most well-known for having full-sized duvets and pillows in business class. I have never experienced Delta business class, or any business class other than US Airways A330-300 business class when I was 8 and not an avgeek yet, but it looks amazing.
The 757 is an old aircraft. I don't care so much for it but I appreciate it for what it does, and that is being a MOM aircraft fulfilling medium-haul routes that the A320 or 787 can't handle. Boeing aircraft are not well-known for their smooth landings, but that isn't what they are designed to do. They are designed to be workhorses in a competitive environment, unlike the A330, which, while a workhorse, can surely butter the bread even in severe crosswinds.
The wing and engine view were amazing! I can't believe you never mentioned anything about that.
10/10 would share with a friend again. Unfortunately, I don't have any avgeek friends so I'll just share your channel on Instagram.

I love Delta, but their Delta One menu has for the longest time been absolutely TERRIBLE. Usually domestic is a tad bit more "normal" but on the international routes, they try to be fancy and don't focus on giving people what they really want. I mean judging by the menu shown on this video, your options are eggs, sugar and more sugar... followed by a cookie of sugar before landing. Come on "Chefs".

    • @sanspotter

There’s a dedicated viewing spot at the corner of Laurel and Harbor drive, which is a nice place to watch arrivals and departures. Keep in mind that the fence is really high though, so you’ll need to stand on a car or a ladder to take pics over it. The local police won’t mind as long as you stay back from the fence. You can also watch departures from across the street at Spanish Landing (an open park area). You’ll need a 300-400mm lens to get pics of departing aircraft, it it’s a pretty nice place to sit and relax for a chance hours. Have fun!

dear Scott thank you for your reply. You can not imagine how many shitmails I am receiving everyday about my comments….concerning todays U.S. travel culture.. Top peak Mr Trump should arrest me right away after entering American ground...
And that to me who was so proud to carry your U.S. flag around the world...on T.W.A.
But you know what I have never been the coward of the county.....so my champagne spoiled tongue will continue on to be a critic or soft and tender….
      Thanks for listening Scott!!

Why are all of these flight travel reports done by men? why do they always travel alone?
