Agree with everything. I paid $36. Canadian and retail a shoe of this quality (here) you'd be lucky to see at $75. but $85 is in range also. They are professional but at the low end of the spectrum. Inserts are solid (Infact I pulled them and placed them in my DC's). Cool design, very light, don't breath, gummy soul yet offers support. You absolutely will not find a better quality show for the price. My first pair of Airwalks in over 30 years.
I went to Walmart after this video. I noticed some of them had that sole and others had hard plastic soles same shoe. If they do not have the red letters on the bottom don't get them. I found a 3/4 top airwalk same type in my size they worked great.
Walmart website wised up. I checked it just now and it’s $20. The $15 one was not in my size. I’ll try to check these out in store. Sounds like those outperformed the AVE 2.0.
I went to check these out and at first try on they felt very close to Emerica Dicksons, and I got pretty interested, but then I noticed the very bottom soles aren’t rubber, they are like a hard plastic. Were these ones you tested with a harder plastic bottom sole or softer rubber like traditional skate shoes? I’m wondering if the harder plastic bottoms is what makes the lower cost possible. I notice other cheap wal mart or target shoes usually have this same type of hard bottom sole. Hmm
@@2FTSK8 Do you have any thoughts on the Etnies Andy Anderson Signature show? id like to see you review that one. i got the Windrow Vulc Green ones that he was wearing before and they have been great for bmx flatland. They look pretty good in his Black colorway Release. they run half size big fyi imo
@@kidwilson3357 i thought about getting that shoes and i know you can remove the cover but i thing its too farfetch for me to try to skate and if i remove the cover it would be pretty much same as any etnies shoes ....
@@2FTSK8 I think the production models have the Shoe lace cover sewn in. The zipper models I believe were kind of special runs. I like the shoe lace cover since they give a nod to the old Airwalks. I did a review of the Walmart airwalks and in that video I show the etnies. if you get bored maybe check it out.
I saw this at payless and they were frim brazil. They looked fire but I would never skate them. I skated a pair of airwalk once and they aren't skateble really. They're too cute to ruin it but they don't last when skate. Literally two weeks they're done.
I think is better to get airwalk shoes that are just basic colors (white, black, etc). Its your choice if you want to get the style shoes and skate them.
The ones i bought are horrible the rubber on the bottom is like a hard plastic and they are really slick on my grip tape do not get the ones with the black bottom sole

Airwalk brought the cardboard soles back n I'm very disappointed

Oh I see ... well 20 is still very good price .... yeah everything was good with the airwalk... would definitely skate them again

It's rubber sole on this one ... They used to have weird cardboard look bottom soles ... They still do on some of their shoes but not this one ...
I had the same issue I luckily found a pair in the 3/4 top that had the red letters. The solid black soles are hard plastic.
Another great video. Thanks for uploading.
Oh my pleasure!!! I love helping people save money !! Or just make a decision

I'm not saying all airwalks ... I know they suck .... but this one is a good quality it's called Huntington

Was it red airwalk logo on the bottom??
