This is the video I was looking for. We’ve been van hunting for quite sometime. Need something for these MN winters for this family of 5. Thanks and take care.
Nice! We used to live in Pennsylvania up on the Great Lakes and our Siena always kicked butt. It was just a front wheel drive model from 2004 but if you put Bridgestone Blizacks on it you could basically keep up with the jeeps lol now u got AWD 👍🏼
Correct, where I live there are many people who still drive in the snow without winter tires, they keep their summer ones on and it ends up being very bad
I was wondering how the hybrid system does in a foot of snow as I live on a mountain and have to climb it every winter with AWD and all-weather or snow tires to get home. It seems although this is a Sienna wouldn't this be the same for the Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid with AWD or the Prius AWD hybrid? Thanks.
Hows the van in cold weather? Do you have remote start?if so is it going to get warm faster?do you need to boost the van in freezing temperature?i ask lots of question cuz im planning to buy van hybrid
The vans efficiency goes down in cols weather and also more with snow tires on it. Ours went from 35mpg average in summer to 27 mpg winter with snow tires It does not warm up fast but heated seats helps. The defrost on the front screen is weak. But the think is a beast in the snow. Best and safest car on snowy icy roads I have ever driven for the most part. Its Amazing
Overall, and compared to your RAV4, How do you like your Sienna, Sir? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thinking about buying one but it would be my sole vehicle, so need to make right decision. Thank you. 😊
That was actually me visiting my parents home, they own the Rav 4,I've only driven it a few times. I don't think you can compare the two, completely different. I previously had a Nissan rogue, the sienna is much roomier, Rav 4 is tight. They both get the job done, but I value the versatility of the van. Only complaint is parking spots are tight
We traded a 2018 rav for our 2023 sienna. And the van is better hands down for almost everything. Steers better rides better turns sharper smoother roomier even handles the snow better idk why but it does. Van is easier to get in and out of. It's easier to get cargo in and out of. Better visibility on the van too. Mini vans are underrated the lost goes on.
I didn't have the older model. But the dealer did say since the hybrids weigh more then expect quicker wear on the tires and breaks. My friends with Tesla's also report quicker tire wear

Tires are 70% of the equation honestly.
My 21 Sienna XLE AWD handles every Wisc blizzard perfectly, moreso with Michelin Defenders. Enjoy!

Thank you for posting this! I’m trying to get a Sienna myself and was not sure how it fared with Odyssey. This is very helpful!
It's a beast. You'll put trucks and other standard Suvs to shame lol. Love ours
Odyssey good only on dry road
Good tires make a huge difference in snow
Great I didn't know they had a all-wheel version
For like 20 years
Haven’t seen a winter like this in years
I just wish you could take the middle seats out and that it actually had a bumper
May have been a whiteout when it happened but it's not a white out now visibility looks pretty good
So how cold is it there. ??? Cause it matters !!! ???????
Look like snow tires which should mske it relatively easy to drive in these conditions

@@vandad1248 what winter tires are you running?
Goes through a foot of snow likes it’s not even there.
What tires are you running?
Michelin X-ice snow
I'm looking to buy top line sienna what year is your jewel ?❤
2021 xse AWD . Ppl been waiting 2 years on a wait-list where I live. Used models price going 10k above new model

Stay home next if you can and be safe.
i wish odessy had awd
I know, that's the only thing Odyssey is missing.
Stay home in that mess! What hill??

Does the newer model use tires prematurely like the old awd model?
I didn't have the older model. But the dealer did say since the hybrids weigh more then expect quicker wear on the tires and breaks. My friends with Tesla's also report quicker tire wear
They don't. They last about 15k more miles
If you want a ture that last long after the 1st pair then get a pair of micheline defender 2. I have 50k on mine and they are still good!
Odyssey would do that with x ice snow easily
Where is it? What’s state of America?
In Canada my friend. North of America. Vancouver, about 2 hours north of Seattle
Wow, where did you find snow in Vancouver?
What kind of tires do you have?
Michelin X Ice 2
with snow tires on?
Yes with snow tires. Michelin X Ice 2
This van also has winter tires on it.
you got snow tires even fwd can make with snow tires
I've seen fwd vehicles get stuck on these hills even with snow tires. Happened to my parents when they came for a visit.
Also, look for a video on my page labeled pick up truck fail, same hill but disastrous results
@@vandad1248 i do not belive if you have regular tires and make that hill then you have a good awd
He'll need CV axles at 70k miles....
It has everything to do with tires and not awd lol
It’s not a snowstorm lol
Мне интересно, а какой это штат?
Nice van(said nobody)
Nice truck(said nobody)
That's illegal not to stop at the STOP SIGN
No one cares abt your opinion 🎉
If that was odyssey I guarantee will be stuck !!!!and death
Impressive. What brand of tire are on her?
Michelin X-ice snow, nothing too fancy
@@vandad1248 Can't beat a 4wd/AWD. I had an AWD Chrysler 300 equipped with winter light truck tires. Winter was nothing when I had that car.✌️👍
