There should be a receipt or credit card statement with a date and time for the Walmart visit. There's always the possibility that he used an old Walmart bag and gathered up food that he already had in the house, but it's worth a shot.
I always want the person missing to be found. When not found I can't imagine how you guys feel because I see your determination in solving every case even when you can't. Because I feel a disappointment when they aren't found and I only watched the videos. I pray you all stay safe in every aspect of every case. I pray when you find them that you can feel how happy it makes us that the families now have closure because you fought so hard to bring each loved one home. You are all amazing and loved by so many for your efforts. Even if you don't find closure for the families you at least show where they are not at. As to the flipping of the card, i have to disagree. As a matter of fact, his handling of the card seemed that he was quite aware. I've done that many times, when i didn't know which direction or side the ATM wanted the mag strip. He flipped and wiped it just trying to get it to read. Only confusion was why he couldn't get cash, or so it appears to me anyway.

I think your young guy might be right that he was interrupted cause he left everything home and food in the garage so maybe police may have let this one down a bit too by not looking at the house more as you said. Truly sad

@@kristie64wheeler66the closest walmart to his house is 60 miles away, & there is no water near it. It's entirely possible he left the casino, drove northeast to the Minot walmart & then went home & disappeared after that.

His card was a swipe only which is why he kept turning it. The reason it may not have been working is because it was locked by fraud alert due to suspicious activity. That may explain why he was so confused by it not working.

Where is the Veterans Hospital he had an appointment with? Is it possible in his confused state of mind that he was heading to that appointment a day early? Also keep in mind that the car he owns was around $30,000 new and could have been even more if it was fully loaded.
It might look like it was interrupted, however, he could be in & out of the beginning of dementia, by the way he acted at the ATM machine.

No loan shark kills you over a debt when you have assets. Even if he was dead broke they would lean on him to get family to pony up the bill. I doubt foul play other than if it was a serial killer type.
Agree. And 98% of the victims in that serial killer scenario are women. Nothing stolen so no robbery motive. When that Wal Mart purchase was made is important. I'd like to know if he made it home or not. If not, then we could be looking at an old man making a wrong turn on the way home. I think he drove off a different road.

You didn’t look in the ponds at the other side of the road? It would have been easy to get unconscious, cross the road and end up in the water at the wrong side of the road.

There is another boat dock in pick city just across the dam from riverdale. Its a state park. Im going off that he was still a little confused.
The family could at the time checked the receipt time stamp and would have known if he made it home after casino or he went after going to walmart

I went to Walmart yesterday and I saw a bunch of missing people reports newly and old and I thought I wonder if they're ever going to be found

Question for AWP, I thought I seen a episode like a month ago that Jared showed that they got a new more advanced toe behind radar/ sonar that would read / pick up below mud/ silt? If so why not try it at the last location in this episode.

Several questions that could be answered with a bit of digging.
1. What was his financial state? Did he have little money in his bank account, Was he recently in a lot of debt, was he experiencing credit problems, etc.
2. This question was asked and not answered…. “Was his financial activity leading up to his disappearance “normal”?” Were bank transactions typical or had he increasingly been withdrawing cash?
3. Was there a receipt in the Walmart bags? If so it should be checked for date and time. If not, it’s likely he was throwing some things in old Walmart bags to pack to take with him.
4. Has anyone interviewed the individuals captured on the casino tape at the poker table?
5. Have the local Walmart cameras been looked at to see if he’s detected at the store the day of or the day before he disappeared?
One thing is for sure… he was disrupted and left his house but when. Because if he left to go to the casino then that is a hurried last ditch effort to get money. Maybe what everyone is viewing as a confused state at the atm is a stress induced panic to get money. Maybe the guys at the casino table knew that.

I think Doug, you made some very good observations during the poker game The two guys who were talking about him watched him etc Did anyone look to see when they left? Could they knowing he was confused and frustrated ( probably know him from prior games as well) think easy target, or just to be mean. Maybe they or anyone for that matter followed him home. Someone could have been in the house and surprised him as he opened the door he puts down bags to raise his hands they have him get back into the car (probably can't be seen if a garage) make him drive somewhere while one follows they could have killed him with his own gun for a debt he owes then sank him and the car in a body of water? Regardless I do believe there's faul play based on the Walmart bags. Did the police look at Walmart video? Try to determine when he went also was he followed or watched while there? I don't think the Walmart bags are from earlier that Saturday. The scenario that makes the most sense is he stopped at Walmart aft the casino either was followed home or someone was already there waiting. There's a lot of detective work that needs and or should have been done using that info would certainly make your job easier! Best of luck I think you guys can solve this!! ❤️ Be safe!

Maybe he wasn't interrupted, but had a medical problem and dropped everything. I would look between his house and whatever hospitals there are in the area. Good luck. Best wishes.

actually you had to be able to calculate how much gasoline can be in his vehicle and then calculate how far you can drive with a full tank and use that as a search area from his home

Did you guys look south of the dam in the Missouri River. Lots of access points and deep aggressive water moving fast south of the dam and spillway.

what was the timestamp on the walmart purchases compared to the casino time frame. charges would show on cc or receipts

When you add everything up, the young man is correct. He wanted it to all be over & dropped everything & did what he loved doing. Very sad & tragic.

Is there any possibility that you could look into CCTV footage from cities between where he lived and where his son lived at the time he went missing? There be a chance that he headed to his son’s home, but something happened that caused him to go off road. It may not be very high of a chance, but it’s still a possibility nonetheless.
I'd be curious if anyone tracked the guys at the table when ronnald left the casino maybe some foul play with the way they were talking when he came back to the table and left again

Unfortunately local police departments don't give their officers very good training and counties and states have below standard training to send them to. Therefore they have not the training nor the urge to get more aggressive n their jobs. Plus, they have no Crime scene Investigaters as did the city I was part of. I was sent to city academy, county academy state academy and FBI classes to be a Crime investigater. I was taught every tool to investigate any crime. That is lacking in some states, counties towns and cities today from some of these films on UTube today. It is sad.

I think he was taken at gunpoint leaving his bags behind,I also think that it’s very highly likely that he owed someone money I just can’t imagine any scenario where you would place your shopping on the floor and leave it,unless he left it purposely to make people search for him knowing he was in trouble or sadly in a depressed state leaving the obvious sign that he’s gone missing I wish his family all the and yourselves all the very best of luck in your search God bless 🙏🏻🇬🇧

just a guess here but if he was shuffleing alot with his card i think maybe he was in a rush or running from someone
Given the level of his obvious frustration that night with his ATM card, a bad streak at gambling, along with dwindling hope, failing health, and perhaps alcohol intake, it seems a likely possibility that, at age 75, sitting in his beloved car, he said "scr*w it, I'm done with life". And given his penchant for long road trips (i.e. to Arizona), he may have taken off for a long ride. Adding fatigue to the mix, he may have just driven off into a body of water far from home, depending on how far he made it with fuel. He could be in water anywhere, not necessarily close to home. I applaud all of you amazing searchers for your tireless efforts in this and all of your cases. You are amazing! I pray for the families of everyone who is missing where there is no closure. May the Lord bless all of you and bring you peace, strength and healing. 🙏✝️💜
I think his family really never tried very hard to look for him in my opinion. When he asked about his phone records they looked confused as if they never even tried looking at that how did the lady say "his phone didnt have charge" how does she even know that? Im never surprised for there to be foul play from those who say they love you they need to be investigated.
@jpp1749 that's easy to say having never heard of the case until you watched this. I grew up near Riverdale, this was big news when he went missing. The family & law enforcement were focusing the search between Riverdale & Fargo initially, he was missing for a couple weeks before anyone had found out he had been to the casino, which is 2 hours in the opposite direction of where he was supposed to travel. My grandparents are the same age as Ron, they have had a cell phone off & on for about 20 years, they often leave home without it & rarely have it turned on when they are home. So no, it's not suspicious that a senior citizen 12 years ago might not have his phone turned on.
You usually could not access your ATM more than 3 x per X hrs a day. Back Then. Also did anyone verify that he was actually attempt to use the crrect card???

i think he was packing up the car to get it ready then as he was coming out of the house with groceries someone came in to rob him he might have ran in the house to get the gun but was to slow? then he was forced to either drive or taken in the car somewhere far away. this was not self harm maybe a accident.
I live in North Dakota not far from Jamestown. It's like a 4 hour drive to 4 Bears and easily over 100 bodies of water.
Unless he was murdered It's very likely the car is in water. Consider that the majority of the territory is ranch and farmland his car would of been found long ago.
The other thing North Dakota normally has its first snow in October.
I think I. His case using Lidar would probably help, considering ND looks the same as it did back when Custer rode through with the U.S. Calvary

Given it's 2011 in the Bakken Oil Fields. Meth, prostitution, crime was at an all time high. I am curious about the female that approached the table. She look's like a methed out lot lizard. She also leans in and says something to him that upsets him (hence throwing his cards in violently) and says something to her to cause her to step away from him. IMHO you'll never find the car or him. As much as I hate to say this, Shallow grave and the car has been parted out and the frame melted down. If you're wondering why I came to this conclution, let's just say I knew some shady characters over there at the time.

Often if a bank see excessive swipes in one location or see odd withdrawal attempts they may red flag that card till a phone call is made tofrom the bank
Maybe a long shot but is there any rivers and water near Walmart? Or on the way maybe he forgot something and rushed back out why the bags was left there like that
I think he was just done and he spent the rest of his money on poker Mayne told himself when he ran outta money he was going to end it and that's why he was so frustrated at the ATM and when he lost the game so sad

When was this Ronald Lee Johnson born? My father is named Ronald Lee Johnson and he was born in 1951 - ? , he was from Livingston, Kentucky.
He was born March 13th, 1951. His mother's name is Stella Mae Wise, his father's name is Denver Johnson, they all lived in Livingston, KY, Rock castle County. Ronald Lee Johnson was in the US Army in 1967 and had a pass to go home and got my mother pregnant with me. She placed his name on my old Birth certificate Ronald Lee Johnson and my name is Christopher Lee Johnson.
He was a POW in the Vietnam War- Cherokee Indian
His mother was full Cherokee Indian and she had the same problem I have now with the Osteomyelitis in our bone marrow. My Bone Density is very poor and I have to take Vitamin D 3 every day to slow down the process of the bone becoming brittle.I have searched everywhere to where I even went to his last known address in Livingston, KY back in 2021. Then I found someone in my town who knew him and his second wife Sharon Jones from Hamilton, OH. I used to have their Marriage Bond when they got married in London, KY.
He was 74 when he disappeared in 2011, which would but his birth year around 1937. So no, not the same guy
