Sizes are ridiculous nowadays, an XS should easily fit someone that’s 5’6
If it’s too long for Brock, then it will definitely be too large for me! Brock is 5’ 6” with a slight build; I’m 5’ 1” with a stocky build. 😞
I'm in the UK and it's hard to find stuff that fits me, everyone seems huge here these days but we're nowhere near USA sizes! I guess we're keeping the tailors in business if nothing else.
I hear you! I'm in the UK too and there is a move from slim fits to everything being oversized. If you're like me and most stuff in "regular fit" doesn't fit me anyway then that's a problem! For casual wear, I'd probably only get something tailored if it was really expensive (like the sweatshirt in Brock's video) or if I loved it and wore it all the time.
But yeah, everything in stores seem to start at a size M and there are no problems getting Huge or Extra Huge sizes. You can get sale bargains though as shops tend to sell fewer garments in S generally so they can be heavily discounted. I've also got a 30ins waist (some bottoms in 28 also fit) so I have been able to get trousers really cheap in sales.
@@MartinParnham I have bought a few 34/36 chest, S & XS items online with heavy discounts recently as they’re the last ones.

I looked into it, but no XS and the S will be way too long (according to the size chart and my experience with the brand) 😕
That's why I love this channel: Someone else who suffers from tops being too long in the arms or too "baggy" under the armpits!
Can you make a video on how a Taylor alter and customize different fabric of yours?
I have never heard of altering polyester cotton blend, does the alterations hold and look good like in pure cotton clothes ???

Too long but not too baggy imo. It’s actually a good fit in the torso and sleeves (other than the length).
Sleeves too long brock, plus anything over 20% polyester on a shirt/sweater makes me sweat like mad
Yeah fleece (which is made with poly) is too warm for some people/climates. I was just in Flagstaff, AZ for the holidays and wore this sweatshirt, and it was perfect for that kind of sub-freezing weather.
