    How to fix rusted brake lines on your Subaru, replace them! When doing research for this project, it seemed to come up fairly often as an issue for older Subarus. Instead of replacing the entire brake line assembly that runs from the front to rear, it’s much easier to splice in under the rear seat. I happened to have some extra parts from one of my STI’s, like the lines and 4-way block. If you don’t have those parts, I’d recommend getting the new block for sure, mine was crusty!
