I've been living as a hippie since the 2000's. Went from being the "highschool/ college hippie" to the "dirty off the grid communal hippie" and now finally to the "reformed hippie". The latter being somebody who has done it all and has reintegrated into society, but still values the ideals and experience. Still wouldn't give up festivals and gatherings for the world though, to bring me back to my roots! Definitely a path worth taking! Keep up the good job and personal growth!

I don’t know if I’m a hippie or not but ever since I started my own spiritual journey, I’ve lost lots of friends and I feel like I’ve become a bit detached. I felt lost for a moment but then my heart swelled with love and compassion for the world and animals and trees an plants. I’ve grown to hate war or conflict of any kind and I really hate injustice. Doing research on hippie culture throughout the 60s, I live their messages and lifestyle. I think it’s pretty cool and 100% really vibe with them.
I've been trying to figure out why i love colorful patterns in my art and in things and why i like this kind of things is that because i have a hippie soul. Wow.

@@raelee6929 well, I'll tell you that the animals in factory farms are kept in filthy, crowded conditions. There is blood and crap stains everywhere and their babies get taken away from them if they're males. They'll also start crying when they're getting ready to die.

I've been doing yoga for almost 5 weeks now and have been taking a yoga class on Wednesdays and Fridays. I know how to make crystal pendants and tie dye paracord bracelets with no buckles or size adjustments, I have became a modern day hippie and meditate on a rock in the middle of a creek listening to the waterfall behind where I meditate.
Hippies don't try to be hippies. They just are.

Its kinda comforting knowing there’s other hippies out there. I live South Dakota so im easily one of the noticeable ones in a crowd of farmers and blue collar workers. You could say “hippie’s” are looked down upon here. Can’t wait to save money up and build a house out in the middle of nowhere and live off the land. 😂

My Journey and rebirth started at a Hippie Music Festival. I was reborn. It is something that when it happens it will change your life..I found the meaning of life. I didn't grow up in the Hippie community. I grew up in Corporate America, constantly concerned with money and status. When you find the meaning of life, everything Changes, and letting go of it all is simple and you jump at the bit to let it all go. It's true happiness. The real Journey of Joy then begins. I wish the World could experience it.

I want to wear hippie clothes because I love the colours and the art of it and I feel comfy in the clothes in my house/room but I’m scared to be judged especially because I live in Ireland and everything is so basic and just not my style but I wear it to fit in I don’t want to be judged but I’m starting to feel more confident in my hippie side of life and bring it out more especially because the simple fact that I don’t care anymore. - working process 🌞

Why not do yoga in the rain?
it’s basically winter and too cold to go outside and do yoga/meditate. any suggestions on how to make my home a relaxing area to do so since nature helps more with yoga atleast for me?

I actually plan on making a video over this soon, but until then I would just say include things inside that make YOU feel comfortable/relaxed. Maybe try playing nature sounds on your phone or bringing greenery (plants/flowers) into the room with you. ☀️

Hippies didn't have nice clothes like you, they didn't buy fancy candles @ like $20 a piece that have scents and light four of them at the same time, they didn't have fancy mats for yoga, fancy homes, collections of crystals and stones, do you smoke weed?, do you live with other people? Websters definition of Hippie : a usually young person who rejects the mores of established society (as by dressing unconventionally or favoring communal living) and advocates a nonviolent ethic
broadly : a long-haired unconventionally dressed young person. This is not you! If TODAY you could could look back at the Hippies in the 60's you most likely would not want to be one. You have too many modern day conveniences car, cell phone, tv etc. Your a hippie wanna be, but don't know what one is.....sorry
