bashenga the black manta I’d recommend the comics as a better representation of the Legion, especially the Great Darkness Saga. Even the Superboy comics with the Legion from back in the day were fun reads.

I think it makes sense the legion of superheroes and fatal five will have a connection with green lanterns based on evidence you share. I'm looking forward to JL vs the fatal five.

Great video and happy Anniversary. Only thing I would of added is the 2008 "Legion of 3 Worlds" miniseries. The future they showed had all but one lantern dead in a mass grave on the ruin world of Oa. The "Last Lantern" Sodam Yat a Daximite was kept ageless by the Ion power, living among the ruins with his dead allies and all their green rings surrounding him. I'm pretty sure he even stops the rings from choosing new hosts, but I'd have to go back and check on that. To be noted this was at the beginning of the Lantern's Spectrum wars and during Superboy Prime's reign of terror. So they may of just been trying to make the reader think the Green's were going to lose the wars and not have an army available for the heroes to use against Prime... I always put Ekron as the inbetween stages of Manhunter and Lanterns, a piloted robot (as A.I. can't be trusted alone...) with spectrum power. The Eye itself likely contains a sort of prototype power battery and the pupil/iris would serve as the focuser (Ring). The power feels stronger but more unstable, as you can see it's shield energy in flux as if it's trying to drain it's extra power (which would've likely been used to power the bot, before it was torn out). Only real problem with this theory is the "First Lantern". As why would give the organic all the spectrum after you gave Ekron only had a singular color? I mean I guess they could of made Ekron after they tested the spectrum on organics, but then why go back to organics? I guess some species couldn't work with an Ekron like bot, like the living planet and such. Also cosmic powered super robots may come off more as "weapons of war" instead of "tools for protection"...
I think the whole Emerald Empress thing is a nod to DC Rebirth because back in 2016 she was set up to be some sort of mysterious looming threat in the Rebirth one shot and in the early issues of Doomsday Clock
In one of the Legion of Superheroes comics it was shown that Sodom yet was still a Green Lantern a thousand years in the future he was basically iron on and have not sent power rings out to restored the corpses numbers. I'll just say we have not only the standard Green Lanterns, but also the starheart (the source of Alan Scott's power and his daughter Jade), and also other heroes like Argent who have similar powers. Basically it's "force manipulation" in various forms. If you wanted a green lantern in the Legion, having a decendent of Jade might be the way to go. There was also the original yellow lantern ring (before the whole fear thing) worn by Guy which absorbed Green Lantern energy. But the Emerald Eye could just be a force manipulation device (either technological or magical) and that alone would make it look very much like a lantern ring. I believe also Power Ring from Earth 3 (the crime syndicate) was also supposed to be mystical rather than technology based.

The legion of superheroes had their own cartoon I forget what year it was I want to say 2009 or 2010 it was called Superboy and the legion of superheroes. That doesn't fit in with the animated series (Batman Superman Justice league Justice league unlimited) does it? I don't think it does but it was a great cartoon and it got cancelled way too early
I doubt the latter will be the case, but if John’s absence isn’t explained we can likely chalk it up to him attending to something in deep space, or something of that nature. A line in the trailer spoken by Mr. Terrific alluded to no other Justice Leaguers being able to come to their aid.
Worth noting that John's assignment in sector 2814 was technically 'temporary' while Kyle was off training. JL "In Blackest Night" doesn't state when the Ajuris 4 incident happened but it's implied to have been during John's previous assignment. Maybe we should be asking what happened to Kyle?

I really enjoyed that story, especially because the time trapper turned out to be superboy prime and you all know what a big fan I am of 52 the story. I would also like to ask if this could possibly lead to a boostergold DCAU movie? Would love to see it, especially with Jessica Cruz, the female green lantern. Personally, I always considered superboy and the legion of superheroes cartoon happening, but on another earth. So we already have two earths if you look at it that way, we just need a third. But to the point: in the final battle, the Emerald Empress is kicking everyone's ass until Ferro Lad shows up. Since his armor is made of iron and iron is a natural weakness to magic, he's able to shatter her energy constructs and easily defeat her.

Doesn't Ms Martian's appearance in JL vs F5 make it nearly impossible for the movie to fit in the DCAU because she's a white Martian? White Martians don't exist in the DCAU. Unless she were retconned into a green Martian, which would clash with Young Justice and the CW Arrowverse.
The DCAU has a lot of irregularities compared to other continuities. Where else Is J'onn living as Hank Henshaw? Where else does Wally have Barry's origin? How many different timelines is Wally black? It's the whole point of having other continuities. So you can tell different stories.
Nah. They’re both standalone. “Brainiac” recycled STAS models and voices as a tie-in with “Superman Returns.” “Doomsday” was the first in the line of DC Universe Animated Original Movies (that still continues today) that simply used Bruce Timm’s art style because he was a producer.
Honestly a huge part of why I keep coming back every week is because I like hearing Conroy's BECAUSE IT'S THURSDAY. And this is a lot more fun to watch than Batman and Harley Quinn.
I disown Batman and Harley quin fron the DCAU continuity. The Characterization was off, it adds nothing to the universe, and its ultimately a remake of a far superior episode of the BMTAS episode. I am not even sure why the movie exists, even the musical number was worse the the one in the TV show.

Doesn't Ms Martian's appearance in JL vs F5 make it nearly impossible for the movie to fit in the DCAU because she's a white Martian? White Martians don't exist in the DCAU.
Unless she were retconned into a green Martian, which would clash with Young Justice and the CW Arrowverse.
The DCAU has a lot of irregularities compared to other continuities. Where else Is J'onn living as Hank Henshaw? Where else does Wally have Barry's origin? How many different timelines is Wally black? It's the whole point of having other continuities. So you can tell different stories.
All this an not munch mention of The Leaguion Of Super Heros Cartoon Run just the version that showed up in Superman The Animated Series

Nah. They’re both standalone. “Brainiac” recycled STAS models and voices as a tie-in with “Superman Returns.” “Doomsday” was the first in the line of DC Universe Animated Original Movies (that still continues today) that simply used Bruce Timm’s art style because he was a producer.

Bruce timm does no wrong
I disown Batman and Harley quin fron the DCAU continuity. The Characterization was off, it adds nothing to the universe, and its ultimately a remake of a far superior episode of the BMTAS episode. I am not even sure why the movie exists, even the musical number was worse the the one in the TV show.
