I always enjoy your videos because they’re so cozy and comforting, especially at this time of year. It’s my favorite time. That soup looks amazing in the bread bowl. 😍
Btw, baby carrots are regular carrots but they are scraps from the floor so they go through a bleach rinse, I saw a special about them on tv but I don't know if that's 100% true. I also love the date Snickers😋🌱💚
Good Sunday morning Nikki. Everything looks so healthy and delicious. Thanks for sharing a vlog of your cozy Fall recipes. I like to start each day with a healthy salad. 😉😉
I usually opt for a traditional Cobb salad: - a tossed salad made typically with chopped chicken or turkey, tomatoes, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, blue cheese, and lettuce and dressed with a vinaigrette or perhaps some tradtional French or Thousand Island dressing. That's my all time favorite.
Nikki, I 100% agree with you about cutting your own carrot sticks being better. The ones that are bagged no matter which ones I buy are always too flimsy. I love cutting up my own to make dipping sticks. I never watched Scream until I was in my 20s because in daycare the little kids weren't allowed to watch with the big kids when I was a child and honestly I never felt like It was a priority growing up so I got around to it randomly. But I feel the same way as you about it.
Right? Homemade carrot sticks are crunchier and sweeter almost too. I’m a fan lol and I love that story! 😂 I have some many things like that from my childhood too. I wanted to be a big kid/grown up so badly when I was little
I’m one of those crazy people who’s never seen hocus pocus , but I kind of want to finally just to see the new one haha, scream is pretty cheesy but back in the 90s me and the kids on my street would play this terrifying game at night where one kid would wear the scream mask and everyone else would hide, it was like scream hide and seek, good times!
Perfect timing! ☺️☺️ I hope you enjoy this recipe! I made it again last night and it’s my favorite healthy soup at the moment! Full of good stuff and so comforting 🥰 Happy cooking!
Thank you for the video Nikki! A few highlights for me were (1) your knife skills and (2) uses of oregano (I'm currently missing this one in my spice cabinet, but I do have a "pizza" seasoning. I know a few brands do this). (3) Checking off a small item, for me it was recently smoke detector batteries. (4) The fabulous salad creation. What a combo! xx, Molly
Your comments always make me smile Molly! Thank you for providing such thoughtful and encouraging feedback ☺️☺️ It makes my day ❤️ And yes oregano is such a great one because it’s potent! A little goes a long way and it’s delicious with onions and garlic so I use it on everything from pizzas and pastas to Italian style soups and salad dressings 👩🏻🍳 Hope you have a great rest of your day! ✨
Good morning from Michigan Gonna be a beautiful day here ! 🍁 Gotta get outside and suck it in before winter hits ❄️ Hope you have a great one 😎 Appreciate you 🙏🏻 Carpe Diem 🥳 (Indian gooseberries are super healthy…I wonder if those are the same thing 🤔)
Oh wow I bet it’s beautiful there right now! I hope you enjoy it and savor the crisp Fall air 🍁🍂✨ I’m excited to go in a walk now and do the same ☺️❤️ Happy Sunday to you!
Thanks Erin! I don’t but I just take the pit out of the biggest, squishiest most caramely Medjool dates I can find and then stuff them with peanut butter and dip the whole thing in melted vegan chocolate like I did on this video. Then top with chopped roasted peanuts and sometimes a sprinkle of sea salt too! Sooooo good ☺️☺️ hope you enjoy!
Yummy 😋 food Nicole and I have seen Scream around the time, it came out but haven't seen Scream 4 and the reboot of the original. Still watched the video because it didn't contain too much Halloween stuff ( I don't celebrate Halloween) but respect Nicole & others choice regarding that. Love 💕 Nicole.
Thanks David! Everything was so tasty! And yeah Halloween movies way too scary for me most of the time. I’m just there for the candy and popcorn most of the time 😂 Glad you enjoyed this video and I hope you have a great day! Happy Sunday ✨❤️
Although I didn't used to love vegetables the way I do now I certainly never would have described them as bland or have ever known anyone who described them as bland. Instead I would have described vegetables I didn't like as having a bitter or unpleasant flavor. More like too flavorful or too watery. Also when something is lower in calories like many (not all) non starchy vegetables you can just taste it and it needs something fatty/starchy/sweet to round it out
Scream was the first scary movie I watched as a kid. I was in 3rd grade and it ruined me. 🥲 I rewatched it as an adult and was also surprised by how funny it was. The scariness didn’t age well, but it still creeps me out every time I see a mask, lol!
Your videos are like a warm hug from your best friend: full of feel goods. Thank you for sharing these delightful recipes. 🍁
I admire the fact that you never waste anything
Hocus pocus has been one of my favorite movies since it came out! I loved the second one too. Thanks for more great recipes
I loved this video! What a fun and yummy movie night, your family is so lucky to have a creative cook in the house :))
Aw thanks Jennifer! I love cooking for other people so that’s nice to hear ☺️☺️ Hope you have a great rest of your day! Happy Sunday ✨
The faculty is one of my favorite movies from my teenage years ❤️

Ahhhhh that makes sense! Good to know! And I’m with you, date snickers are actual heaven lol ☺️☺️ glad you can relate
Another stunner, Nikki! Thanks for being so wonderful.
Aw that’s so nice, thanks Jillian ☺️❤️ hope you have a great rest of your day!
I love soups! What are your current favorites to watch on TH-cam?
Love the movie Scream and Hocus Pocus. Recipes look divine..
Baby carrots are cut from giant carrots into those little things. They are not as high in antixidants/nutrients
The recipes look delish! Trying the cauliflower soup this week!
Thank you and yay! I hope you enjoy it! I’ve been loving this soup lately and it’s so nourishing too! Perfect for this time of year ☺️ Happy cooking!
Scream & the Faculty are great movies. I haven't seen hocus pocus 1 or 2. The movie snacks looked yummy. Glad you had a nice Halloween 🎃
Thanks Mel! I’ll have to try The Faculty again when I’m a little more awake lol the food coma was too real 😂 Hope you have a great rest of your day!
Wow! You are so inspiring!! I Love your content. So glad I found you! Thank you so much! 💓

Good Sunday morning Nikki. Everything looks so healthy and delicious. Thanks for sharing a vlog of your cozy Fall recipes. I like to start each day with a healthy salad. 😉😉
Good morning and thank you Richard! I’ve been loving these recipes so I hope you enjoy! What kinds of salad combos have you been making?

For me, Hocus Pocus was the classic I crossed off my list this year! My friends and I did a double-feature of the first and second. :)
Nice! What did you think of it? 🎃🎃✨✨
@@NikkiVegan I really liked it! And I agree, the second one captures the mood and humour of the first movie. I loved the musical numbers!
Everything always looks so delicious! That Halloween bell pepper was just too cute 😊
the faculty is so good
That cauliflower soup looks so yummy! I’ll have to make that when I’m back home from traveling next week 😍
Thank you and nice! I love having a recipe I’m looking forward to making when getting back home ☺️ Hope you enjoy! Where are you traveling?
Great video! I'll have the Helix and the soup, please!
Thanks, Nikki 😊 so fun and that cauliflower soup look sooo good!
Thanks Sonia! I just made it again last night ☺️☺️ one of my fav healthy soups right now! Hope you enjoy

Everything looked delicious. I've been looking for a new soup to make. Will be making that this week...Thank you
Perfect timing! ☺️☺️ I hope you enjoy this recipe! I made it again last night and it’s my favorite healthy soup at the moment! Full of good stuff and so comforting 🥰 Happy cooking!
what a charming video...and btw, baby carrots are only the core of the carrot so they are the most bitter part...you are not wrong!
Yum! Can’t wait to try cauliflower soup!! It looks amazing!! 😊
Thanks Shelli! I’m excited for you try it! I’ve been loving it! I made it twice last week lol so healthy and comforting at the same time ☺️☺️
I see cauliflower soup in my near future 😋 . Thanks Nikki!
Yay! I’m so excited to hear that! I hope you enjoy it ☺️☺️ It’s full of nourishing ingredients but so cozy at the same time!
Those horseradish chips were my FAVORITTEEE and I haven’t seen them in a while :(
Right?? they're so good! I haven't either. I think they might be seasonal which is so sad 🥲
@@NikkiVegan ooo I’ll have to be on the look out this summer!
Could you do a video on what TH-camrs you follow?
The peppers looked so cute 🎃
Aw thanks! So fun ☺️🎃❤️
O man Gooseberry jam is so good
Oooo I need to try that! I bet it’s delicious 😋
Happy Fall, Nicole!
Thank you! Same to you 🍁🍂✨

I always find baby carrots go bad a lot faster and there slimy and its a turn off
That’s good to know! Team Homemade Carrot Sticks for the win 🙌 lol ☺️❤️
Yes I love homemade carrots
Baby carrots are bleached that is why they taste weird and they are not as healthy for you as big carrots 😇
Stop killing plants.. save the earth
