Advancing onto the 5th Zone, Wacky Workbench features a weapon warehouse located in a canyon that is ruled by electricity. Inside, there are many abstract mechanisms present, such a hovering platforms, grounded police sirens, a checkered floor that allows Sonic to bounce to higher areas, and atom-like structures that are constantly generating a wire of electric energy at eight-second intervals that can harm the hedgehog when closeby. Air vents have the adverse effect of freezing Sonic if he comes into contact with them.
In the past version this zone was well under construction with the canyon visible in the background. U can see the metal beams and other construction mechanisms. By destroying the robot generator and the projector of metal sonic the zones present is saved and also leading into a good future.
If you didn’t happen to destroy the robot generator in the past, you are greeted with a decrepit factory in the future. Nothing’s working right in here, and all of the malfunctioning machinery is giving off clouds of billowing smoke. The overhead lamps that used to light up this place have now fallen or decayed, leaving huge portions of the factory in pitch black darkness. Warning lights are still on, even though this place was abandoned years ago, almost as if they’re the only ones alive here, still clinging on to this forgotten wreck. Yeah, let’s go destroy that generator instead.
Once you destroy the robot generator and metal sonic projector you are greeted to the very vibrant Good Future! Here the Workbench is converted from a weapons factory into a vibrant kiddie land. It's appearance is a mix of pink💖 and purple💜 and geometric shapes are found here. Along with its appearance being appealing to younger audiences, the checkered floor doesn't give off nearly as much electricity as the Bad Future.
