What is this “my truth, my personal truth” shit, you either saw what objectively happened or you didn’t, you can’t interpret something as happening in any other way other than how it objectively played out. That’s what the replay is for, for what should be the *rare* occasion the ump somehow feels they have to interpret, as opposed to just report, exactly what played out. So stupid. “The replay wasn’t clear enough” sure, then why is anybody at all making judgment calls for points which not a single person or camera was looking at, apparently?

I cannot fathom how Borges could lose that point, the umpire didn't even consider a replay. That was the least he could do. That was a big blunder from the umpire. He assumed Borges gave up the point because of his inactive posture but that was very bad assumption because Garin never challenged point after the out call from the spectator, he just continued playing. Garin missed the next shot maybe because of the confusing situation but that was his own mistake, Borges wasn't at fault. Garin got rewarded for his mistake, so poor sportmanship from him and the umpire should go back refereeing ITF matches.
well that's kind of what they were arguing about...during the rally garin hit a shot on the baseline but some spectator from the stands called it out (not a line umpire), Garin put the ball out but he talked to the umpire saying it was hinderance so he decided to give the point to Garin...even though if it was hinderance the point should be replayed at MAXIMUM...even then honestly it should be game Borges as hinderance from spectators don't count as an actual hinderance in the rules

What Nishioka doesn’t realize is that despite what he thinks of himself, they are entertainers. People come to watch matches for entertainment. With that lack of effort at the end, they should be penalized heavily, if not suspended from matches. If you don’t want to entertain the crowd and give them what they paid to watch, go do something else, like teach preschoolers tennis.

The Felix-Draper match call was the worst call I've seen in 40+ years of watching tennis. Draper knew it was a shank and even laughed because he couldn't believe they called it in his favor. Very bad sportsmanship from Draper. We all know when we've shanked it, plus from a physics standpoint, it would be impossible for that ball to have topspin like it did when it came over.
