NBK Justified both of them have said it had nothing to do with cheating. They both blamed each other for drinking too much. So hopefully they each have a handle on their drinking now
You're correct. The video is based on Stephen King's Christine. Carrie is a huge King fan. She asked his permission to use the storyline in her video, and he gave his blessing. It's perfect for the lyrics and message of the song.
I'm a bit late hopping on the BYSC train so I just saw this. I'm just curious based on your comment: in a real-life situation like this (since I'm sure there have been plenty), do you think anyone involved ever actually loved anyone else involved?
In Before he Cheats she destroyed your car, in Two Black Cadillacs she made your car destroy you! Don't mess with Carrie! 😂 React to See You Again now, please!!
Simon T in undo it she rips up photos of you two together and puts other things of yours in the trash. So don't mess with Carrie Underwood. In Unapologize she doesn't regret what she says about you. so don't mess with her.
I was married for 16 years to a man who abused me. I suffered a broken nose, a fractured cheack bone and a broken wrist. But what kills me the most is the lie I told to my son so he wouldn't hate his father!
When they're younger, you put it off; once they're old enough (12 or 13?) you set 'em down and tell 'em what's what, and who's who. They need to learn/know this as early as they can; have to make sure they aren't learning from the wrong source, and learning the wrong lessons!
I know it's been a while since you posted this, but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry you went through that. I'll never understand how people can be so cruel to one another, especially people who are just trying to love them. 16 years hit home because that's how long I was with my wife before she began an affair with a 24 year old, and ultimately chose the unemployed, seldom-bathing, disrespectful, arrogant manchild over the man who had set aside his own goals to raise her kids, working 65 hour weeks for years to do so, and then poured his life savings into kick-starting her dreams. It's been 5 months since she officially ended things with me pathetically trying to hold on, and three months since I finally got the courage to move away, leaving the life I built in the oil-stained hands of a boy who's done nothing to deserve it. I've obviously been through a lot, but I was never afraid of her. I can't imagine what you had to deal with, and I hope you have found real happiness now. I hope the kids have come to terms with what's happened and don't blame you for any of it. I hope he has gotten some help so he isn't doing the same awful things to someone else, or that he's just all alone in the world now, reaping what he's sown. Have a blessed day Angela, and for that matter a blessed life. I imagine you deserve it❤️
Good Cooker this is based off of an actual story of two women who were suspected of doing this to a women’s husband because of the cheating he had gotten away with for many yrs ... the mistress and wife discovered each other and joined forces and killed the man ... however during prosecution they couldn’t prove a thing and both women walked away with a large sum of cash .... that’s what this song is based on

Carrie asked the horror King himself if she could use the Christine concept for this video and he agreed! She's a very talented artist and tells a great stort!!!
Loved this reaction. I was laughing at your reaction, it was great. Listening to your reactions makes my day brighter. I really look forward to them. Another good song by her is Little Toy Guns, the official video. I agree with you, Carrie has an amazing voice.
Just found your channel and subscribed for 2 reasons: 1 because I enjoy your reactions and 2 because you're a Bills fan! I was born and raised in the 716 baby! I just moved to Denver but, you better Billieve my hubby and I got game pass to watch our Bills every Sunday. Great job on the video and can't wait to binge watch more!
While on tour, Carrie saw first hand what veterans and their wives thought of "Just A Dream". They kind of made it their anthem and Carrie had no problem with it.
Billy, if you get the chance, watch the video of Carrie making this video. I don't remember if she tells it in that video but she said in a video that she was raised on Stephen King -- her mother had a bunch of the books and Carrie read them. She said that she called Mr. King and asked him if she could use the premise of Christine in her video and he agreed.
You’re right, it is Christine! By Stephen King...one of my faves. The one I HATE! Maximum Overdrive! Scared the (beep) out of me when I was little! The murder ballad has been around in country music for a long, long time - but it's almost always a woman who dies. Carrie's songs have a subtext within the genre, taking a stand against that pattern.
Story time.... It all started when When the girl didn't know his last name. Then he cheated on her. Now the new girlfriend found out and kill him. The 3 songs were Last Name, Before He Cheats, and Two Black Cadillacs
She did this video around the Stephen King movie Christine. I watched the making of this video and she explains she got his permission to do it. Crazy you mentioned that in the video.
Verse one: ends Billy: asks questions Verse 3: answers all billys questions Billy: *repeat every country song* Whens billy gonna learn, the song is gonna tell the story hahaha

Oh yeah, speaking of horror songs, it would be wrong not to mention fear of the dark or number of the beast ( singer had a nightmare after watching omen 2 and wrote that song about it) by iron maiden or xiii and killer by crazy lixx and friday the 13th by missfits, all 3 songs are about friday the 13th and jason voorhees
I LOVE IT ! And the movie is called Christine great movie Steven King, and he is a best selling author, director, and he plays in every thing he works in good actor .
This is Country music, everyone has to have a Cheating/revenge song for example "Thunder Rolls(live version)" or "Papa Loved Mama" by Garth Brooks, the Classics Kenny Rogers "Lucille", and Hank Williams "Your Cheatin` Heart", Heck John Anderson made one called "She Just Started Liking Cheatin' Songs" it is so common in Country Music. I highly recommend all those songs by the way.
If there's one thing ive learned, you don't want Carrie or Miranda Lambert mad at you
Hahaha real talk!
Which is a good segway to him doing something bad by Miranda and carrie
DEFINATLEY
What's crazy ironic is miranda cheated on blake shelton and thats why he is with gwen stefani now
NBK Justified both of them have said it had nothing to do with cheating. They both blamed each other for drinking too much. So hopefully they each have a handle on their drinking now
Stephen King's Christine. Carrie's inspiration for the car fixing itself from that movie. She got permission from him to do that scene.
@Maryse Bowen Steven king told Carrie she could do that for her video she got his blessing for it
I like that she got permission and didn't just feel the right to use it
Does he know that the whole video & song was based on her love of scary movies?
If I'm not mistaken he was there during the filming as well
Rebeckah Smith I knew it was from Christine, but have never heard that about Stephen King being asked by Carrie! Thats awesome.
